I think theses XP Dansko's are great. I love the Danasko Professional and wore them for years but had to stop when I developed plantar fasciitis. The XP's have more cushioning and seem lower to the ground than the regular Professionals. Also come in wide sizes, another plus. And you can put in your own orthotics if needed.

I'm a hairstylist and stand on my feet in the same position for about 8 hours a day. I used to leave work and my feet would hurt for hours after getting home. A couple of my coworkers bought Danskos and swore by them but I just couldn't get over the fact that they are just plain old ugly! I finally caved and bought a pair and I couldn't be happier! My feet and back no longer hurt when I leave work. This have become the only shoes I want to wear to work now just because they are so comfortable. I bought the patent XP and the patent started peeling off of my shoes and they are not even a year old so I'm a little disappointed. I think the next pair I buy will be matte and just the normal professional Danskos. The extra cushion insole in the XP is nice but not worth the extra price in my opinion. If you have a job where you stand on your feet all day, these shoes are a must have and worth the money!

Sizes are not running the same as the same style I bought last year. The 35 was a lot tighter/narrower and the 36 is too big. I love my other XP Pro Dansko shoes and hope that the next size 35 I buy will fit.

Beautifully constructed shoe. I wear a size 9, typically, and went with the 9.5-10, and I'm glad I did. The heel is supposed to be about a finger width away from your heel, and at first this seemed strange, but it really is very comfortable. I bought these shoes to wear after I broke my foot and graduated out of the cast and boot. My orthopedist said I needed very stiff soles, and I was having a terrible time finding any. I thought this heel might be too high, too much pressure on the ball of my foot, but it sits almost flat, just a slightly higher elevation in the heel. All in all, perfect for what I need!

I love my new shoes. They are comfortable and stylish. I am so looking into getting another pair.

I wish I had known about the XP line earlier! These shoes are so comfortable, and as other reviewers have said, more padded than the regular line. The color of these shoes is beautiful (the espresso), although it is a tad less shiny than in the photo. I love these shoes!

Loved the shoe. Just couldn't get it on. Size 40 should have been my size so I will return and order next size up. I have bilateral bunion issues and in some shoes use my orthotics. Hopefully the replacement shoe will work.

I have been wearing Danskos for 20 years...in one case the same pair! The new style has much more arch support and cushioning and in general is the same as the old but modern. The size 39 seems to run long and the color on these "Blue Caiman" is really silver. I don't notice they are much lighter weight, either. That said, you can never go wrong with Dansko pros. I wish they had more colors in the wide width.

Perfect work shoes! I am a veterinarian and on my feet all day. Danskos are the only shoes that don't make my feet hurt by the end of the day. But these new Danskos are even better. They are immediately soft and comfortable, and provide superior cushioning. Won't buy anything else for work.

10 W is my size. These beautiful shoes just would not fit my bunions. Am so regretting that I have to send them back. They do not offer this shoe in a WW and size 11 would have been too long. My foot is skinny. It's just my bunion area that was the problem and these shoes just have no "give" to them for my fit. They have a beautiful look to them in that my feet look rather small and not bulky at all I only marked them down on "comfort" because of my particular foot problems.

These shoes are very comfortable. They are true to size and width. I am a nurse who needs good shoes to minimize back pain. The arch support is fantastic and the shoes look great under scrubs. However, I have one complaint. They were too loose on the heel, and I felt like I was going to walk right out of them with each step I took. So, I will return these and try to find something else.

I love these clogs! Perfect for work and if you are on your feet all day. Customer service was very good as well as I tried two other sizes of the same brand before choosing this pair.

I was skeptical of the comfort of these shoes because they are not my typical conformable athletic shoes. I was pleasantly surprised! The durable construction, padded footbed, and ergonomic contours are perfect! My feet are narrow and I have a very narrow heel. Usually, my heel is chaffed from sliding heels on shoes, but it was a relief to not even have my heels touching the shoe!

Can't say enough about how much I love these shoes. They redefine comfort. There is a reason they are worn by people who work on their feet all day!

Best, most comfortable shoes I've worn. Just purchased my second pair of Dansko XP's. The XP's provide wonderful arch support. Was diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma and Podiatrist wanted to do foot surgery. However, got a second opinion from an orthopedic surgeon and he suggested shoes with good support. These shoes are great if you are working on your feet. These shoes are worth the money and I'll be purchasing more.

I work in the hospital and have worn Danskos for years. The Pro XP version is definitely an upgrade from the original Dansko. These have a cushion in them the others don't. They are worth the extra money.

I am on my feet 10 hours a day and these bad boys are amazing! I did not have to break them in, they were comfortable from the start. I ordered a size down and they fit perfectly.

I finally needed to replace my old Dansko's after 7 years and splurged on the XPs. I love them! I was worried about the break in period because I remember with my last pair it took a few shifts before they we're comfy. Took them out of the box and went straight into a 12 hour shift in the ER and they felt great. Glad I went for the XP, worth every penny.

These shoes are worth every penny. I'm a teacher, so I'm on my feet most of the workday. I've resisted buying these shoes because of the price, but I finally caved when I finally acknowledged that I had no comfortable black shoes to wear to work. These shoes are very supportive and comfortable, even at the end of the day. They're also very easy to take on and off, which is good when you have small children at home and need to be able to re-shoe with hands full. The non-skid soles are nice, too, on our somewhat slippery tiles at work. Considering I ordered a wide size, I did expect them to be wider, but they still fit well.

Shoes arrived in only a few days after placing my order...very close to Christmas! They are exactly as pictured/described and just what I wanted. Excellent service and product representation.

I usually need a 41 wide, but this one ran too wide in the heel, so am returning for a 40 wide and a 41 regular. We'll see which one fits. Otherwise, the shoe is top quality and I hope one of the replacements work for me.

These shoes are beautiful! They feel wonderful and I love the arch support. Let me tell you, I am the worst shoe shopper! I have super sensitive feet and my little toes sit kind of far back on my feet and these Dansko fit. I need to have the L one stretched a little for my weird little toe but they will be great. I wear a 7-7 1/2 and bought a 37.

I really like these shoes. Very good support still breaking them in though. I'm glad that they finally got these style shoes in the XP Professional WIDE. I hope I don't turn my ankle like some other people report. I do that sometimes wearing sneakers. I tried to get shoes like this locally but I guess since I'm male these shoes are scarce. The store I went to looked at me like I had two heads when I asked why they don't carry these in men's as well. Hmm.. Zappo's to the rescue plus I had them within 24 hours! How they did that I don't know but, it's!
