The only thing better than a classic patent leather Dansko, is a patent leather Dansko Pro XP. These fit true to size with their product line but have a more comfortable foot bed. I would compare it to a supportive pair of athletic shoes, very comfortable! I find that Danskos provide me with the support I need and provide ample toe box room and width for those hard to fit feet. Dasnko lovers everywhere should test drive the Pro XPs.

These Danskos are amazing! I just started a job at the hospital where it's required I wear non-skid sole shoes. These not only fit that requirement, they are so comfortable for both walking and standing for 8+ hours a day. Before I got these I had an older Dansko clog, and I would come home with very sore feet and legs. With my new Dansko Pros, my feet still feel good when I get home from a long day, good enough to still go for a walk or run for some exercise!

This is my 5th pair of Dansko's, but my first XP. They are very comfy, and do not need the usual breaking in period. Size wise they fit about the same as regular Dansko's. I wish they had more styles, my scrubs colors are pink and black, so I was left to choose from black only, the purple ones look awesome but do not match my uniform.

Best shoes I have ever worn! I am a resident physician so I am on my feet 12-14 hours a day. I used to wear my expensive Nike running shoes but by the end of the day, my heal hurt and I felt like I was getting plantar fasciitis. I finally ordered my first pair of Danskos and I will never go back to sneakers! They provide so much support. My feet suddenly stopped hurting. I would recommend anyone who is in a profession where they are on their feet many hours to go online and buy a pair of Danskos! (Preferably from Zappos because they are awesome!)

I did not think that any shoes could be better than Dansko Pros, but the Pro XPs are the most comfortable street shoes that I have ever worn. My Pro XPs took me through nine London museums and up and down the 530 steps to the top of St. Paul's. My feet were so happy!

I'm a nurse and I bought these for work. I was hoping that they would be a little more cushiony than my previous Dansko clogs. They're really just heavier so I clunk a little louder when I walk. I've only had them for about a month so maybe they'll wear in more. I purchased the Moray skin and could take or leave it. Overall, these are just as good as any other Danskos that I've ordered. I've been wearing Dansko clogs for about 10 years now. Danskos are the best clogs out there. I was just hoping for a little more cushion for the Pro XP.

I am an ER nurse in a busy ER. I normally by the regular professional Danskos. This was my first pair of the Pro XPs that I bought. I am retiring after only a few months of wear. They feel fantastic when you first put them on because of the memory soles. HOWEVER, they are EXTREMELY heavy. I feel like I'm wearing bricks on my feet. I am now noticing a bunion on one of my feet that I attribute to these shoes. Me fellow co-workers have told me the same about their Pro XPs, but they keep wearing them because they were so expensive. I feel like I wasted my money. That was a lot of dough for only a few months of wear and now possible surgery for my feet.

LOVE THESE! I'm a size 7, regular width of a foot and I got the 37. It fits exactly the way a dansko should. And I've already had a ton of compliments on the leather design. They've got a really comfortable sole that's slightly squishy! It's awesome!

This is the first pair of Danskos that I have owned, and I love them! I have had trouble with plantar fasciitis and a right achilles tear/cyst. I am a nurse so the pain I feel from being on my feet all of the time is sometimes excruciating. I have tried various brands of tennis shoes and Crocs with patchy but never long lasting relief. As I walked up to my new pair of Danskos to put them on, I could feel the familiar pain in my feet. When I stepped into the shoes, instant relief...no lie! Even my achilles pain was gone, which was unexpected. Every time I put them on, my feet experience heaven on earth. This description sounds gushy even to me, but it is the truth. I will never wear anything else when I work! My feet still hurt at times when I am not wearing them but I can feel slow improvement in the intensity. I have worn them for about 3 weeks now. Thank you Dansko. And thank you Zappos for the best online shopping experience ever, as always!

Because the XP has support, I had to go the next size up. This was my first time with Zappos. As they said, free shipping to and from!!! No hassle. I have told many at the hospital where I work, even the UPS person who processed the return. Many have used ZAPPOS. Not one complaint from anyone!! The shoes were as stated, and I love them. I would recommend this shoe and ZAPPOS, because both stand behind their product, and have excellent customer service!

I bought these shoes elsewhere - it was an extraordinarily good sale, or I wouldn't have, because Zappos is so awesome and I know I can trust them. But I wanted to review the shoe here for the same reason...this is where I read shoe reviews, I know others do as well. These shoes are amazing. I've never worn Dansko before, but I am starting a new job at a hospital, and there will be lots of walking, so I thought I'd try them. I've only worn them a few times, but what a shoe! I have bunions, and my feet have been really hurting lately, with any shoe I wear. But I had no pain with these, even after walking a couple of miles in them. They took a little getting used to, they are heavier than the usual flat loafers I wear, but my feet felt so good at the end of the day! I am a convert to Danskos - will be buying a pair in black soon. I got the Chestnut, which is truly beautiful. I usually get a size 6.5 or 7, so I went with the 37. The fit does seem too large at first...my foot does not hit the back of the shoe at all, which concerned me at first. But after the first few hours, I didn't notice it at all, and I see why they are made that way - so the foot can move up and down. I highly recommend them!

I am so very happy that I ordered this version of Danskos, my very first pair of this type. I read many online reviews before I decided to make the purchase and the Zappos sale price made it so worth the money. I also purchased a pair of the original Dansko professionals and I immediately noticed the difference in the fit. I am returning the Dansko professionals. The XP is a much nicer, softer, insole. It has great arch support and is perfect for my fallen arches and pronation. My foot is also very wide across the top ankle to ankle and this shoe has a wider fit. I normally wear a 10 and I ordered a 41 which was perfect in size. I also purchased some Dansko sandals this past weekend, in size 41 as well, as I found an excellent sale at the mall. I now own three pairs of Danskos including these and I am very happy with the brand. Although the look of these is not the trendiest or the most stylish, as a corporate trainer I am on my feet for 8-9 hours some days while in class and the older I get the less I am able to tolerate the foot pain associated with wearing shoes that are stylish or labeled as comfort (Naturalizer, Aerosole, Born) but do not live up to the hype or longer wear. The leather is also smoother, a little softer and they are simply well made sturdy shoes. I love them! I love Zappos, too!

I like my Dansko's only wish they had them in narrow, but they work for my work shoes. The person I talked with on the phone and order the shoes from was very helpful. I would definitely order my shoes via Zappos. I was hoping I would get a better deal buy online but they were actually the same price at the retail store but they didn't have the shoes in white. Thank you!

I purchased these clogs for my daughter as she started her first nursing experience. When they came and she put them on, they looked huge, mostly with gaps behind the heel. She was told by friends that is how they should be, but be sure to purchase your correct size. All in all, she said they took a little time to get used to them (one day) but will now wear nothing else. "Feels like walking on air" she claims! She normally wears a size seven so purchased the equivalent of 7/8.

I can't say enough about these shoes! I have the Dansko professionals, and the XP is even better! I am a teacher and a server, I am on my feet all the time and I struggle with plantar fasciitis. These are life changing for me. Worth every cent! Thank you Dansko!

I started bartending part-time last weekend and spent over 15 hours on my feet and they were killing me long before my shift ended. I knew I needed to find a good shoe. I did some research on the internet and decided to purchase the Dansko XP Pro. I found some confusion with sizing based upon reading reviews. Enough people recommended ordering up a size. I wear a size 10, so I ordered the 41 (10.5-11) on Tuesday. The shoes arrived Thursday and were huge on me. I was so disappointed because I had my next 15 hour shift on Saturday and thought for sure I would not have the correct fitting shoes in time. This is where Zappos' incredible customer service came in to play. I called the 800 number that came with the shoes. I was speaking to a live person in seconds (that spoke English) and explained to her that the shoes didn't fit. I needed a size 40; and I wanted to know how much it would cost me to get them overnighted so I could have them for Saturday. Zappos shipped the correct size shoes overnight at no cost to me. In addition, the shoe I ordered was out of stock in size 40, so they let me choose a different color/pattern. I choose the Chestnut Vine that was more expensive then the Black Lace design I originally ordered. Zappos did an even exchange, overnighted the correct size ALL at no additional cost to me. My new shoes arrived Friday and fit perfect. I would suggest ordering your true size as the Dansko XP Pro is already make to fit loose in the toe box and heel. I worked my Saturday shift yesterday and could not believe the difference in how my feet felt. It is amazing how well these Dansko XP Pro shoes work. No break in period. Straight out of the box. Incredible! I would highly recommend Dansko XP Pro shoes and Zappos. The service Zappos provides is exceptional in every way. Buy with complete confidence when you buy from Zappos. And the Chestnut Vine Dansko pattern is beautiful.

I'm a solid size 7M and wear 38 in Sanita and Dansko, including the Professional and several sandal- type styles. I ordered a 38 in the Pro XP and it was too big. I exchanged for a 37 and was a perfect fit.

First of all I ordered these one day and received them the next day! I have worn Dansko for many years. The only thing Dansko does not stand up to is the puppy who chewed my last pair. I was able to slide my foot into these brand new Dansko's and wear them for 12-14 hours without the need for any breaking in. Someone posted that these shoes are not appropriate for persons with Plantar Fasciitis? You need a new podiatrist! These are the best shoes for persons with Plantar Fasciitis as well as back problems, the support is excellent, and never gives out. Excellent product! And all Dansko's fit alike.

As a new nursing student I have heard wonderful things about these shoes. All of the hype I heard was right. The shoes are very comfortable. I have flat pronated feet and to be up off the ground a bit helps a bunch. I highly recommend them.

This is my second pair of Dansko's but first pair of XP's. I am very happy with them. Unlike my first pair, these did not require a two-week break in. The insole isn't soft like I was concerned it might be. I does have a slight give to it that molds to the foot while maintaining all of the support you expect from Dansko. I wear these for 12+ hour shifts and my feet/legs don't hurt. I have the Black Lace style & have received several compliments on their appearance. I would describe them as charcoal rather than black, though. I will likely buy another pair at some point; I hope they will have a larger variety to choose from.

The XP line really does feel different than the original Dansko Professionals. Noticeably lighter weight and 'bouncier' feel when walking.

The Dansko Pro XP are so much better than the Professional. I actually have 2 pair and was able to get them a lot cheaper on Zappos than at our local uniform shop. Thanks Zappos!

These shoes help me get through my work day. I work on my feet for 8 - 10 hours daily. I am constantly walking back and forth as well as standing for long periods of time. Before I purchased these, I had to take epsom salt soak every evening when I arrived home from work. Now, my feet and legs just keep going. I won't go to work without a pair of Dansko's on. I alternate between 2 pairs.
