I had to try on many pairs of the same size to find the right fit, but one I did I was in heaven. Be careful not to get them too small, they will feel bigger than you're used to. Thank you Zappos for free shipping!

I always wore Dansko's but then I couldn't wear them any more because they changed their toe box ten years or so ago. The XP's are much more comfortable. I am so glad to be able to wear them again.

I decided to try the Pro XPs to see how they compared to my other Danskos. They have more cushion, better arch support, and are slightly less bulky. I purchased the same size I always do which is a 39. They felt great in length and width. But I have a high arch, so at first they cut into the top of my foot. I am happy to say this resolved after a couple of weeks, now they fit like a glove. I work in the health profession and am on my feet all day. I would recommend them based on the cushion factor, but warn those of you with high arches, break in time may be a little longer. Also if you are between sizes you may want to size up.

I purchased these brown leather shoes and the black patient ones. These were really tight and the black fit a smidge big, but feet usually swell and believe this is a 6 1/2 to a 7. These were just too small.

Right out of the box I loved these shoes. First day at my job I had no issues, no rubs, no aches...even with me following the manufacturers instructions to get a half size bigger and the slip was good, I had no problems.

Love these shoes! They are very comfortable. I'm a nurse and do 12 hour days and my feet don't hurt at the end of my shift.

This shoe was tight across the instep, which is a problem I don't usually encounter. Patent leather won't stretch, so sadly I had to return these. I typically wear size 11 medium, and the 42 was too snug.

I am a hostess at a restaurant, and these shoes are incredibly comfortable to stand in for 8+ hours, although not terribly fashionable.

These are comfortable, easy to break in and they look as cute as clogs can be!

I have many Dansko shoes, and these are very comfortable, was able to wear all day, and no breaking in needed! Color just as pictured. Love the Pro XP better than regular Dansko clogs!

This is the first review I have ever written but I need to let people know #1 how awesome Zappos is and #2 how awesome these shoes are. Zappos. PLEASE NEVER GO OUT OF BUSINESS!!!! The shoes I ordered were not wide enough for my feet so I had to send them back and get a wide. PROBLEM? NOT AT ALL!!!!!!!! it did not cost me anything to send them back and I actually got the new ones before I sent the other shoes back. They did not even have my credit card info on file. They just trusted that I would send them back. In this day and age I find that to be so refreshing. They have all my business when I order online. Oh yes!!! The shoes!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!!!! I have a bad back (Siatica). I also have bad knees. I have osteo arthritis and need knee replacements. I work in a very face paced restaurant on cement floors for 8 to 10 hours a day. I have worn a very expensive brand of shoes for years and have been in severe pain. I did some research on shoes and dansko shoes kept comming up so I gave them a try. Wow. Really I am in shock. Never would I have ever believed anyone if they told me that these shoes would help my pain in my back and my knees. Please try them!!!! WOW!!! That is really all I can say!!!! Now I'm looking at other colors for my everyday wear. Thank you Dansko and Zappos. You both deserve 5 STARS!!!!!!!!

Great clogs-- very sturdy, well made, and super comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis, and I can wear these without inserts comfortably, all day.

Love the new cushioned insole! Huge improvement. Wish Dansko made more variety in wide widths!

These are great shoes; I picked mine up at Nordstroms, but am glad Zappos is carrying them so when these wear out, I can easily have them replaced. At the store, they had 2 or 3 different kinds of the XP, the super shiny, the alligator finish, and also the semi-shine/matte, which is the one I went for. I normally wear a 7.5, and got these in an 8 (I believe, will double check) as my feet are more wide than they are narrow. They were painful the first week or two, but they are my favorite kitchen shoes now. Dansko's definitely make you look more professional in appearance, and I although I loved my Mario Batali Croc's, I do believe these offer the same comfort if not better. Just be careful as in any shoes to not twist your ankle, they are clogs!

I really like these. These are my first pair of Danskos so it took a few days to adjust to but now I can't imagine not having them! I have some knee problems that would bother me after a long day on my feet at work and once I started wearing these shoes that went away.

These are awesome! I've been hesitant to buy Dansko's for a while because they're sometimes tight across the top and into the arch, but I got the wide Pro XP's and they're amazing. Softer foot bed than a regular pair, more impact absorbent. The sole is different too, thicker by maybe a tenth of an inch and it clicks when you walk on solid surfaces. I'm never going back now that I've found Pro XP's, it's like "upgrade x500"! I'm super excited I have a new favorite pair of shoes!

I work 12 hour shifts and on my feet a good bit. These are my first pair of Dansko shoes and I am impressed! I am a true size 7 and ordered size 38, as suggested. They seem big, but they do slide up and down from my heel as suggested and overall comfortable.

Love this shoe, already feel as if they are broken in from the moment you put them on. Yes I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone that works on their feet and they look amazing too!

I am a pastry chef so I'm constantly on my feet for 8-12 hrs a day. Everyone I work with has Danskos and I was always curious about them and wonder if they were what everyone said they were out to be. After getting mine and wearing them for a day It felt like I just got done doing a leg workout. But my feet and back didn't hurt. From wearing them the past two weeks I have had no problem with them! My feet aren't sore and my back doesn't ache from being on my feet all day. I highly recommend them to everyone in a kitchen, hospital or where ever that has you standing for long hours.

I love it, these are my first Dansko shoes, so still getting used to it, but very comfortable. I find it a bit clunky to walk up and down the stairs with it. I ave to wear thick socks since the sizing felt a bit larger than expected.

I'm a supervisor at a call center and I'm on my feet all day. This is the best investment in a shoe I have made in year. After wearing these awesome shoes my feet were not aching anymore highly recommend them. Thank you Zappos!

As a nurse, I had heard how wonderful these shoes were, but they completely exceeded my expectations! Very comfortable and professional looking, I do not regret my purchase. However as great as the shoes are, Zappos customer service is the best in the business. I had to return the shoes for a larger size and the process was seem less and quick. I had the replacement shoes the very next day , less than 24 hours later. BEFORE I had even returned the first pair! I am a Zappos customer for life. You MUST get these shoes. You will not regret it.

Super comfortable and no "break-in" time like my previous Danskos.

I got a pair of these from my daughter, she'd bought them on a trip home to Vermont. I have worn them since she gave them to me! They are wonderful! I originally started wearing them to my part time job (hostess in a restaurant). I thought I would have to quit, due to my feet and legs aching so much by the time I'd get home. They are starting to look a little worn (2 years or more later), and I was worried I would not be able to get another pair without a trip home from Georgia! So glad to have found this site! Will be ordering another pair real soon!
