By reading reviews and having bought a previous coat from Colombia in a size Large that was snug from the waist down, I ordered an XL this time, the sleeves are too long, the top part is too wide, the hip area is ok and the jacket is very light. These jackets are made for women that are flat from the shoulders down and no curves. I have learned my lesson, no more Colombia jackets for me. Very disappointing!

Normally wear a medium, ordered a large. Too tight gave it to my daughter. Okay for semi cold weather. Not much below freezing. Nice and lightweight.

The coat is great. Grey is more has a blue-ish tone...very nice. Bottom half runs a bit snug if you have a butt or hips...may want to try XL or maybe 1XL.

I ordered this jacket 2 sizes higher than a different jacket I bought this year - XL compared to size Medium. There was no ease in the hips once zipped. I had lost weight so wanted a smaller jacket than the other 2 I had in this style and I had to return this. If you have a slender body with little hips, this will work. But if you have a curvy body, find another style.

Jacket for a tall woman, pockets very low. Zipper very finicky.

Love the new technology used in this coat. I did have to return it twice..first for size S to M, then the zipper would not consistently and easily seat and after struggling with it numerous time I gave up and sent it back hoping for an even exchange, although I had to pay return shipping for both items. Still, the style, weight and warmth will be great for travel.

It could be cute — maybe not as cute as in the photo, but cute enough. But it was too tight in the bust. I never have this problem even though I’m 36DD. I wear a Large and this jacket is a Large but I’m going to have to exchange it for an Extra Large — which I may look like a potato in, but I think I’ll give it a try since the it checks off all the boxes otherwise.

The jacket is good, keeps you warm. But it's a little too snug for comfort. If your hips and backside are on the large size of medium I would recommend getting a large. I wear a medium and its tight around the hip area especially if you happen to put your phone in the pockets and sit down, then you can either be comfortable or keep the phone in the pocket!

the style is great, but it's not going to keep you warm in winter.

I needed a warm down jacket for our cold Wisconsin winters and thought this one would be a nice light weight option. The purple color is beautiful, the cut is very flattering and it's nice and lightweight but not warm at all for our winters. The sizing is very slim so I'm not able the layer much under it. I'm going to use it as a layer under my Athleta stronger sweatshirt which is warmer by itself but not warm enough for negative digits in January.

I had another Columbia jacket and this one just isn't as warm. I can feel the wind blowing through the material. I like the cuffs that were added. It is a slim coat and I can't add a lot of layers to be able to add warmth. I guess I will have to purchase a new winter coat again next year

I have this jacket in an XL purple for the past 4 years. It is my favorite coat, it keeps me warm in the winter without being bulky. I live in Northwest Indiana and we have Chicago winters. It was time for a new one and my husband bought me the same coat and size just different color than what I had. The coat is way too small. It fits fine in the arms and shoulders but is very tight around the bust and waist. Time to send it back and unfortunately its on sale and they don't have any in my size.

This jacket is VERY light and thin. It actually very warm. It runs a little small. I have hips and butt and it was too tight in that area. I love the sleeves.

I love this jacket since it's really warm without all the bulk! My only concern though is that after only wearing it for a month on and off, there are already a lot of thread sticking out from all over. I dont feel like it was made well. I am hoping it will last a few winters but now I am worried if it will! I paid a lot of money for it.

This coat is thinner than I expected. When I received it, I felt it's much different from what I saw on line.
It will be much helpful, if can add some pictures on line, showing the details of clothes, such as how the interior looks like.

I was so disappointed with the fit of this coat. It fit OK through the shoulders, but it was too tight through the waist and hips. Also, it falls to mid-thigh and it was so tight around my thighs I could not take a full stride. It was like the cut was intended for a skinny 15-year-old. I am 5'4", 124 Lbs and almost always wear a small. I did not exchange for a medium because of the way it was cut -- the shoulders would have been too large and my walking might have been restricted.

Seeing that it was a long coat, I thought it'd be warmer. Might be good as a light jacket for running errands, but the "omni-heat" tech didn't make up for the super-thin insulation. Tried it out when it was in the teens/20s outside and it didn't do much for me. It also runs a bit small, and that's something I don't say often (even XS tends to run a bit loose on me), so definitely size up if you plan on layering.

This coat is very lightweight as stated but not very warm at all. Although it is cute and fits true to size , It does not keep me warm even with the insulation. The other reviews is what I made my decision off of actually, next time I will go directly to the store. Not my kind of winter coat for the money I spent.

hard to tell from the photo, but this coat is very, very thin and seems to have no fill or padding of any sort. winters get 10-30 where I live, and this coat is not warm enough as I'm going shopping, to and from my car, to class, etc. doesn't keep wind out well either. however, I will say that this coat is good for winter hiking. the omni-heat technology seems to work when you're generating quite a bit of heat already. I have worn it hiking in 0-20 and it's good with some additional layers of course.

Runs on the tighter, longer side for petite.
Snug on curves size 2P.
Good for traveling when weather is not too cold & your not outdoor too long. Takes long for your own body heat to warm u.
Not a good sport coat.

Ordered the jacket it my usual size and it was way too tight. Very light weight jacket that looked nice, sleeves would have been way too long if I were to have gone up to the next size. Disappointed that I had to pay for the shipping to return the coat as well. Columbia has nice products but next time will go to a store where I can try on vs. ordering online in case I would need to return the item.

Nice coat for early spring or early fall temps, but not for winter weather, at least not for me. Exchanged for a real winter coat, in which I love.

I ordered the Mighty Lite in Chalk, size M. I'm 5'7", wear size 6/8 in clothing and have always worn a medium in jackets, no matter the brand. When I zipped the jacket, the fit was very snug through the hip area. (You could call it the 'skinny jeans' of jackets.) I also did not like the thin outer material of the jacket.
My challenge with this purchase is that it was for a future trip to an extremely cold climate and I had to make the judgement to return it now and get something with a better fit and slightly thicker material. I need to be able to layer clothing and have a jacket with a comfortable fit.
