I really like these pants. They are lightweight, and very comfortable to wear. They are a little on the small side so I was glad I ordered one size up. I guess my only complaint is that there is only one small pocket along the leg.

Extremely flattering travel/outdoor pants. I tried a few pairs of pants from Columbia for light outdoor day hikes, and this was the winner by far in terms of looks and comfort. The material is thin and drapes beautifully, and is also stretchy. Because of the material and the drawstring waist, this had the most comfortable and flattering waistband. Perfect for hot summer dayhikes. | Just be aware that these pants are not truly convertible (although the cuffs have a drawstring mechanism to either cinch into jogger type pants or tie off as capris), and that the material is thin so isn't good for going through sharp brush or protect you if you fall on rocks. For the short folks out there, I ordered the 'S' for short size and found it to be shorter than R or regular sizes but still too long (I'm 5'2''). The Saturday Trail pants weren't as comfortable but had the correct inseam length for me (eg, they were shorter). Because the cuffs on these pants have a drawstring I'm loathe to hem them, but I might. I would give it 5/5 if the inseam for the short sizes was shorter.

I bought these because I have similar capris that I have really loved and wanted something similar in a pant for work. My biggest/only complaint is that the material pills where my tops meet the pants (or any other place where you have friction). That is the only thing preventing me from buying another pair at this time. The stretch and light weigh fabric is very comfortable, they also dry quickly.

Lightweight fabric super for summer travel -- so much cooler than standard cotton pants. Only issue is one that is common to many washable clothes -- seams pucker after washing, even in cold water on front load wash & wear cycle. Pants would appear dressier and more appropriate for dinner if the seams were smooth. Runs a bit large -- I normally wear 10 pants but I wear an 8 in this.

I have three other pairs of these that I wear all the time. This pair was a good three inches smaller around the waist that all three of the others. Quality control issue maybe.. returned

Lightweight and very comfortable.

I'm 5'7 145 and the size 10 regular fits perfectly. The material is thin so I'll need to wear thermals in the cooler months. There are no belt loops but there is a drawstring. The only pocket is on the outside of the left leg.

Love these pants....casual, yet a tailored look with nice seams.

I love the fit of these pants. Super stretchy and light-weight, but I recently wore them rock climbing and came back at the end of the day with all the stitching coming undone. Super bummer.

Advise to size down was correct. Fabric clingy, thin, and not flattering but very comfortable and doesn't feel tight. Only one zip pocket,so not ideal hiking pants but probably keeping out of desperation.

These pants are super light and comfortable. They were perfect for fishing on the river or from a boat. They are also perfect coverage for hiking and keeping bugs off your legs. The fit is great, just loose enough and a little stretchy. My only complaint is that they don't have traditional pockets, only a small little zipper one down the leg.

Bought 2nd pair, 2nd color because 1st is quite nice. Material - pleasant on skin, slides readily over knees when hiking, and dries quickly. Pants are a good balance of warm enough yet not hot. Short length is a great plus - just right for 5'2". My wish? That leg pocket was a tad bigger. That waist was smaller so cinching waist tie is not needed as much.

I have these pants in a capri and I wear them any time I'm not wearing a dress. These pants are just as lightweight and comfy as the capris, but seemed "fuzzy" in a way that would either pill or collect lint. My capris feel much smoother so I'm sending these pants back and checking other Columbia options.

I like these pants, and will keep them, as they have a flattering fit, and are comfortable. I still have a pair of Columbia shorts I bought years ago that I love, and I really prefer the older fabric. The fabric of the just right pant is light weight and stretchy, but it feels so non porous, like it doesn't breath the way cotton does.

I have two of this pant and they are wonderful for hiking. The fabric is breathable and has a stretchy material. It dries fast after a light rain. I would recommend this pant to anyone who is doing light or heavy hiking. I am a geologist and I would wear these pant for 8+ hours a day.

When I first slipped them on, I thought I would love them, but I am very straight. No curves, and in my opinion are made more for someone with some curves. I had handfuls of material in the hips and seat. Sadly, they have to go back.

People cant notice if its between a lounge, sporty, comfortable or formal pants because of the cut, design and fabric. These are pretty well designed and I am not disappointed at all. In fact I would even buy them again if I find other colors.

Love how they fit and feel. Just wish they had pockets. Fit true to size and make my legs look good!! Just need some place to put my chapstick and cell!

I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs (a size 2 in most pants); the size 2 in this one fit well. This pant's fabric is stretchy and soft--far less stiff than most other nylon pants. The fit is also flattering; I appreciated the lower rise. No weird seams. Overall, comfortable for virtually all types of movement. However, there is only one pocket, on the side of one leg, and it's not very roomy. I was planning to use this for month-long travel and for hiking, so that made it a no-go for me, because you're no better off than if you'd worn leggings.

All I can say it that I love these pants. The fit is perfect and they are extremely comfortable. I wish they cam in more colors.

All the black pants I ordered were true to size. The grey - smaller and longer.

The fit is fine. I was surprised when I ordered Regular to find that the inseam was 32" so I returned them for Short. I'm 5'7" so I didn't realize that was considered "short". The pants do not have pockets, this makes them fine for street wear as one can carry a purse etc. but not outdoors. I bird so I'm in and out of a car or van and backpacks can be a hindrance so pockets are a necessity.

I bought these to work in the field in. I figured they would be breathable and help with climbing and hiking mountains. They fit wonderfully, true to size and stretch for comfort. However, with climbing hills with vegetation they don't quite hold up. I'm talking not on trails here. With branches scratching my sides they have already had a few strings on the inseam come loose. I love them to pieces and would be wonderful hiking pants, but not field work tough.

Great in black, gray color is more revealing. If you have any cellulite on your rear-end these pants, in the gray color, will let the world know. If you care about stuff like that, this is your warning. Otherwise, great pant for hiking/camping.

I love these pants. The fit is nice they are lightweight and pack able. I wear them for everything from rock climbing to hiking. The only downfall is that they are starting to pile and I notice that near the waist ban the treads are coming loose. It has happened on every pair i owned. Despite that I will be ordering more soon.. Columbia these are awesome pants...keep then in stock
