These fit perfectly, are very comfortable, and are just great for hiking. Have worn them with silkweight long underwear in cold weather and was warm without overheating.

I had bought the original Just Right capris and loved them. Then I tried the 2012 Just Right II pants and capris and was disappointed to find that the fit was quite different - had to return them. These fit just like the original and are great. Can work for casual, dress-up and hiking. Dry fast, water resistant, stretchy, comfortable. Like the black on black trim around the pants leg pocket and the black tie instead of the turquoise. Hope you keep this product - was a bit disappointed that REI doesn't care this one.

I didn't like the contrasting pocket trim in last years pants, but stocked up on them anyway because the pants are so great. Now the pockets match and for the first time, I found them in the 'short' version and they are perfect. All my others were shortened, which is a pain and gets expensive. The back seam is a little puckery. The stretchy waist tie may be comfortable for some, but for me, it lets the pants sag too much if I wear them for work because I carry two phones and the weight is too much for the stretchy tie to keep the pants in place. These dry overnight while on vacation, so I can pack less and not check a bag. They can be worn forever without that feeling that you can't wait to get home to change into something more comfortable.

I adore these pants. They are feather weight like pajamas. The "short" length was perfect. I am 5'4". I bought both colors and have worn them around town and hiking. They are quick to dry too.

So much that I got FIVE pairs! (Some in a size up for those chubby days of the month) They are nice looking, not too low in the waist so you don't have to worry when you bend over, and supper comfortable. I definitely recommend them and hope they will never stop making them.

These are the most comfortable pants. I absolutely love them! I travel alot for work and these are my favorite for long plane rides. They don't look like sports pants because they are all black so they are appropriate for many different settings. Highly recommend!

I first tried this pant in size 6 with a bootcut leg. It was too big. I reordered in this one in size 4 and it is perfect. I like the option of straight leg. It is a nice, stretchy material. For reference, I am 123#, 5'5", and 27" waist.

These pants are great: fit well, light weight, perfect for my trip to Asia.

I bought these pants for birding, walking, working out and I love them. They fit perfectly and I am a small size at 4 petite. They are so light weight I can enjoy them in Florida's hottest weather. And they are excellent for traveling as well because they don't wrinkle and are compact. The only drawback of the pants is they have only one pocket, and it is a small leg, zippered pocket.

These pants had just enough "give". Women need this for their "fat" days. I tried on 4 other styles, but this style felt the best. Good fit, true to size, nice material, length perfect. I bought one pair in the store and wanted another pair so purchased 2nd pair online. I told my friend about these.

These pants are very flattering, comfortable and well made. I have a hard time wearing jeans now. These stretch and are lightweight yet warm enough for cool days/nights. They’re also nice for hiking and rolling up the bottom to cool off. The side leg pocket is good for small things. However, I do wish it were a bit bigger or there were more pockets to accommodate a cell phone.

Really like these pants, fit as expected, fabric is nice enough for work & then hiking. Only draw back is the single pocket wouldn't mind another, it's not a deal breaker for me. I will be buying additional colors. Purchased 12 short I'm 165lbs 5'1

Nice pants. Good for hiking and casual wear. I love the drawstring waist. The fit in the front could be better. There is not enough fabric in the front causing a camel toe. A higher waist and another zipper pocket would be nice. I have a pair of these from about 8 years ago and they lasted well. The old size was 12 and they were getting a bit tight. I bought size 16 Short and they are just as tight as my old pair. I imagine they will stretch. Length is good on my short legs.

I agree these run a bit big. They are a nice, light fabric and the center stitching of the legs give a slimming look The internal draw cord is stretchy material which is weird and creates a lot of cord to tuck in. The only pocket is too small for a cellphone, big enough for cards and cash and a key. I bought an 8 and a 10 and ended up keeping them both. The 8 was snug but relaxed after one wearing.

Love these pants. Very comfy and strechy. I sized down and it fits perfect. My only gripe is, I wish it had more pockets. Only 1 small one. Women like pockets!!

These are great pants. I would say they run a bit big, however. I am a pretty solid 10 but after reading reviews I decided to order both an 8 and 10. I tried on the 8's first and didn't even open the packaging of the size 10. I have to also tie the inner drawstring pretty tightly to make sure they stay up. Biggest "boohoo" for me is there is only one (zipper) pocket and it is tooooo small (lady pants be damned). Other than that, I really love these pants and they are perfect for being out on the disc golf course.

Light and comfy

Having been working in my pajamas for 2 years, I have come to loathe putting on fitted clothes, like my favorite old jeans. I wanted pants I could go out in public in, that were as comfortable, but didn't look as bad! I love the way these pants feel--zipper and snap but not tight. They bend and stretch with me and don't have any dreaded elastic with that drawstring. I bought one size too big but it worked out now that I moved to somewhere cold that needs a base layer. My only complaint is that there is only one tiny pocket on the front of the leg; it barely fits my ID & credit card much less my small-ish phone.

Great fit, hugs my waist. Great length, "dressy" enough and long enough for boot cut fit Better for work casual that the Columbia OMNI-SHIELD style. The lines along the front seam seem to help with this. I just wish they had regular pockets at the hip. The pocket on the side is too low and and too small to be convenient..

I have several pairs of these pants and capris, and they are pretty decent. They run big. I am 5'7" and about 148 lbs. I usually wear an 8 in Columbia, but in these I wear a size 4. Pros: Really light material, dry quickly, and are super comfortable. Cons: Only one weird pocket on the thigh, ridiculously long inner drawstring, and the fabric tends to pill.

This is a nicely made hiking pant. Nice fabric and the fit is pretty good. I would prefer the legs to be more tapered from the knee down. They are a bit baggy. What I don't understand are the elastic loops at the ankles. There is no way to tighten them up. Guess you are supposed to tie a knot???

The fit is perfect. The material is stretchy and allows for full range of movement. Great for summer and can add a base layer for cooler months. The only thing keeping these from being 5 stars is the lack of pockets. There is one that is zippered and sits on the thigh at a somewhat awkward angle. If they had more pockets I'd wear them everyday!
