These pants fit great, are very flattering and are super comfortable (a wonderful silky fabric that's stretchy but holds its shape). I'll be curious about how durable they turn out to be after a summer of hiking and outdoor use, but in the two weeks I've had them, I've done many long walks/hikes, as well as some light gardening (kneeling) and a lot of housework -- and I have been surprised at how they don't look dirty at all and the fabric shows no pilling or snags. I'm 5'8", 137 lbs. with long legs and they're plenty long enough for me (some people thought they were on the short side). My usual size 6 fits just right in these pants. I got two pairs, in black and grey (as any sensible woman would do for a great piece of clothing like this!), but the grey is kind of a dull color, and I would love to see Columbia offer them in a fawn or a nice green, too.

Love the Columbia Just Right Straight Leg Pant. They are made of a really nice light fabric, have an inside waist elasticized tie, and nice straight leg cut. I am 5' 11" and they are long enough with a casual sandal or athletic shoe.

I bought 2 pairs of these pants for an upcoming trip to Morocco where we are packing very light. I am very pleased with the fabric as it is extremely lightweight but feels like it will hold up well too. They also feel like they'll dry very quickly which is important when you're only packing a couple pairs and washing them in the hotel sink at night. The fabric and style is nice enough that they can be dressed up with an appropriate top for a night out to a nice restaurant. I like the fact that they don't have the typical cargo pockets on the sides and back pockets with flaps. I don't generally make good use of all the pockets on regular cargo/travel pants so I don't miss them at all on these pants. I generally wear a size 2 and ordered accordingly. These size 2s fit on the loose side. If they were offered in a size 0, I would definitely have reordered. But since these have a drawstring in the waist, I can make them fit quite comfortably. I wish they came in a tan or brown color because I'd definitely order a third pair. Despite them fitting a little looser than what I usually like, I feel like I'll be very happy with them and would recommend them as great travel pants that can be dressed up or down depending on what you're wearing on top.

tried on a pair of these pants today and loved them - only problem they don't come in tall. PLEASE make these in tall for those of us with long legs that would love to order some. Thanks.

I could wear these pants ever day of my life. This material is so light weight, flattering, comfortable, sporty and looks good. I only wish these had normal pockets. It's hard to see in the picture, but the pocket is on the side of the thigh, and it's too small for my phone. Other than that, I LOVE these pants.

Great pants - even if you have curves! Very forgiving and flattering. I'm a 14/16 and got the 16. I think I will buy the size 14 too, because they do seem to stretch a little, but snap back after a wash and dry; there is a hidden draw string where you can tighten as needed too. Great pants, love 'em.

These are the most comfy pants ever. Perfect for travel. Light weight, dry quickly line or dryer and come out looking great. Plus I was so happy to see these came in a short. I'm 5'5" but I don't need pants that have an inseam of 32" when I wear the pants with tennis shoes.

It is hard for me to buy pants without trying them on, because I am pear shaped, and could try the same size pant from 50 different stores and they all fit different! I gave these a chance, and ordered for an upcoming trip to Germany, where the weather could fluctuate a lot. The waist is a little big, but they have a drawstring, which I wasn't aware of, so the fit is comfortable. The material is light weight, but I am thinking they will keep any wind out.

Love these pants. Bought an older version a couple years ago at the Columbia outlet, wore them constantly, and I'm so glad I bought this updated version in both styles. The fabric is great: nice enough to wear to work, with plenty of stretch for kneeling, crawling, climbing. I'm a true 16 in the hips & thighs, but smaller in the waist. With the drawstring waistband, these are a perfect fit. Wish they were available in khaki, too.

I purchased these as a gift for my very active and stylish mother....they are perfect and she loves them! I ordered a size down thanks to the other reviews I read, and they fit her beautifully and are extremely flattering. She loves the fabric, just the right weight, and she said they are very comfortable - the kind of pants you can hike in and then wear out to dinner. Score!

I purchased these pants to use for a bike packing trip as my end of day pants. In addition I was traveling to a conference at the end of the trip and I was in need of a pant that would double as a casual slack but didn't add a lot of extra weight to my pack. These pants are light weight and soft to the touch. They do hang a little loose on me and stretch a bit after wear. Overall they look fine as a casual slack for the conference and seem to unwrinkle after being hung overnight upon arrival.

These are the perfect travel pants. They are comfortable and dressy-looking, light-weight and quick-drying. They take up little space in the luggage. They are water and stain repellant. I really like the slim fit.

I purchased the first pair of these great pants at a retail store. I liked them when I tried them on....I loved them the first time I wore them. I have washed them, and they stayed true to size...I washed delicate cold, and a short time in the dryer.. Still looks like new, and fit fine. I've already ordered another pair to take on a 3 week European vacation. I really want to wear them, but am trying to save them so they will be new. Besides being so comfy, they really look good. Not too casual. I'll probably wear one pair on the flight...since it's an overnight one! I can wear them with walking/hiking shoes, or even with a pair of sandal crocs. Put on a cute t-shirt, add a scarf, and you've got a classy looking outfit!

Yeah! These pants are great. I also have the skort and capris. Equally great. Nice to have them in gray. It gets boring to wear black all the time.

These pants I ordered in short because all outdoor pants in stores are way to long, so I was thrilled to actually have pants that fit! The draw string is a great feature. They are light weight and very comfortable. Not for cold, cold weather unless you layer but perfect for cool spring and fall hiking. Have worn them in the high 30s and a drizzling weather and they did very well. Will buy again.

Because honestly I would live in these things. They are the most comfy, cozy pant. They're a little stretchy, so not as confining as denim or khaki BUT they're not so much "stretchy" pants that I look like a weirdo going to work, the bank, or shopping in them. Seriously obsessed. I plan on buying 2 or 3 more pairs in different colors. They're magical pants. Made with actual magic, I'm convinced. Because my butt has never looked so fabulous before. I plan on taking them to Europe with me this fall. I will hike in them. I will go out in them. I will live and breathe in them.

I have to say that when I bought the pants I bought them because of all the good reviews so I received my pants and all the reviews are true these pants are absolutely wonderful. They are the perfect go to pants they are very comfortable and they feel great on and they look great I would definitely recommend these pants

the high back covers your assets no worrying about pulling your shirt down constantly. drawstring a plus for getting pant to fit correctly.generosly cut in the legs for maximum comfort.

When I slipped these pants on, I couldn't believe how well they fit, true to size like advertised, but also, probably the most comfortable pants I have ever had on. They also wash excellent. Will order other colors.

These pants are extremely comfortable. The material is thin, yet very soft, and blocks the wind. It's light stretch hold the shape well. The leg Regular leg length is at least 32", maybe 33". These pants are a slim fit so if you have a small rear, you'll like the fit. They wash and wear beautifully.
