I have bought 6 pairs of these pants. The material is not super durable even when washing and air drying, but they are very very comfortable except in hot humid (cotton only) weather. I can readily move & bend my body in any way, bring knees to chest, etc, w/o constraint, so they let me exercise comfortably, and they dry fast if they get wet. Use w/long underwear or rain paints if you need warmth. They roll up easily w/o bulk to allow wading in water. I am tallish (5'7") & they are long enough for which I am grateful. Would be easy to hem.

Love these pants! I have black & grill in the pant, and black and khaki in the capri. I bring them bicycle touring as a change to street clothes, they pack very small, are super comfortable, and look great. Dressy enough to wear in DC! They're cool in hot weather and in cold weather I wear a layer of silk under. Please bring the Khaki back in the capri and add Khaki color for the pant!!! I'm 5"2 & the petite is 1" too long and need to be hemmed.

I love these pants. They first pair I ordered were a bit big so I gave them to my sister who admired the smaller size I was wearing. They are slim fitting and flattering. Not a lot of pockets. I have worn them flying fishing several times both in waders and wet wading. They dry is about 20 minutes.

You want a pant that you can wear (just about) anywhere? These are the one's. I wanted a pant I could wear around the house that had some style instead of just sweat type pants. These fit that bill PLUS they are awesome for hiking, walking, just all around wearing. I bought all three colors. Buy these, you won't be sorry.

I've worn these to the opera, hiking, flying, touring, dining. They are the best for dressing up & down- I only wish there were more colors available. Also, if pockets are essential, these aren't for you.

These pants ROCK. I am 5"8" and 225 lbs and most companies think that's too big to make active-wear for (grrrr...). These pants are perfect. Stylish, and oh, so comfy I feel like I'm just wearing my skin. They pack down to nothing. Best part is I've worn them in Mexico on both cold nights and hot days very comfortably. Look out, world!

I love these pants! I was looking for this material in black. I do wish they had them in a light tan as well. I ordered size 10 (usual size) and do wish I ordered an 8, I may still do that, but they're not cheap so that will wait. Love!

Cannot even express how much I love these pants! I am a size six short 5'1 and 123 lbs. I ordered the six short and they are a tad too big. I am keeping them for the chubby season and have also ordered the size four. The way these pants fit me is like they were tailored for my curves. Also the black is incredibly flattering. The lightweight fabric is perfect for summer and I did wear them in the rain to test the water resistance. Great product!

I was surprised at how well these pants fit my curvy figure. I'm in my late 40's and curvy - I don't appreciate super low cut stuff, but these pants are great. Light weight, stretchy and look nice. I'm in complementary healthcare and wear these to work as well as for hiking.

Not one to write reviews... so this must be good. These pants are comfortable and yet smart enough to not look like you are shopping in your yoga pants. Everyone has said it before, if the same material can be found in different colors that would be even better. I bought two in black and one in grey. I also love the capris and skort......bring it on...dark brown, navy, olive etc. More pockets would be fabulous but I'll survive. I am 5'11" 160 lbs and the 10 is a good fit. If there was an actual "long" inseam I would chose the size 8, and I normally wear a 10 or 12. Happy trails.

I love these pants. I am 5'5" and 155 lbs. and the 12 short fit perfectly. Took them to Iceland and wore the Columbia Rain pant over them if it rained hard. They were easy to wash in hotel sink and dry by the next morning.

I wore these pants on a walking trip in Scotland and right away two members of our group commented that they liked the fabric.Not too low at the waist which is nice and a slim leg. Perfect travel companion. Also did not stretch out too much though I wore them a bunch!

I'm 5'1" & weigh 110 pounds. After reading other reviews, I ordered size 2 short. Perfect fit. Perfect pants. Never wrinkled. Washed them out in sink at night & they were dry the next morning. I'm ordering the other two colors.

So comfortable and great fabric

Great fit, lightweight, dry fast - the perfect outdoor adventure and everyday pant! I have worn these hiking, playing with the wet dog, bike riding, out to lunch/dinner after the adventure, and just for everyday. The simple long lines are figure flattering for a tall girl (5'7"), and the elastic around the ankles is perfect to hold them around your hiking boots and to prevent them from dragging on the ground when wearing flip-flops. These are my go-to pants for the lovely in-between weather of spring and fall when rain is always a question mark. They are functional enough to ride my bike to a destination and still look nice enough to go out for lunch or coffee. My husband said it best : "How do you look so cute when I look like I've been outside all day?"

These pants are perfect-very comfortable and a flattering cut. I am short, 5'2 but petite sizes are often a bit too short. The short size in these pants fit nicely. I would say the sizing on these is roomy. All Columbia pant styles don't fit the same.

Great pant - fits well and great for travel. Washes easily and dries quickly. I wish it had pockets but I can live without them. I have all three colors.

This pant is comfortable and attractive. One issue, just a tad long for a petite pant. Still needed to shorten quite a bit.

These are great pants! So very comfortable and nice looking!! I wore them on a super cold and incredibly windy trip to Ireland, with leggings underneath, and they kept me warm and dry!! Wore them on the long plane ride, and still looked great at the end, the pants, that is! I have every color, you can wear these 24/7!

I absolutely love these pants! Fit is great and true to size, the material has just enough give to be super comfortable but not "bag out," the color can be worn with a large number of colors. Would definitely buy more in different colors so could wear them every day! They are that comfortable!

Bought them for travel. I have another pair in black that a bought a little while ago...they fit great! So comfortable.

This is my third pair of these pants. They are lightweight and comfortable for travel and you can dress them up a bit, so they work well to go from day use to a casual evening out on the town. I usually wear an 8 and these run a tad large. I tried the 6 but they were just a tad tight. I'm right in between the two sizes (a problem I seem to have with this company, but not others). But the drawstring waist helps a lot to tweek the size. It may be my imagination, but it seems the other pairs I own stretched a bit after several uses. I do wish they had more than that one tiny side pocket. Why don't more of the nicer looking women's pants come with pockets? I need pockets! But overall I do enjoy these pants.
