The pants run large compared to the same size in the other pants I have bought. I would order a size down if I bought a second pair. The are comfortable and do like them. they just run large.

I've had these pants for few years and love them so I got another pair in different color. The new one was huge, about 2" wider around the waist than my old pair. I got another pair one size down and they are still on the loose side but fine. Extremely comfy with light weight stretchy fabric. The only down side is the single tiny pocket.

Very comfortable pants. I was in-between sizes and after reading reviews decided to get the smaller size as I read they can stretch a bit. It fit perfectly. Light weight material is nice with hiking. My only complaint is they do not have more pockets. There is one zippered pocket on the left leg mid thigh.

These are very nice pants however these are described as straight leg but for me they are most definitely not straight leg. These pants are more of a boot cut. I went back and looked at the photos again and the side view to me shows these pants are boot cut. I like the material and fit but I really want straight leg pants so now I am struggling with do I keep them or return them.

I purchased these to wear hiking in the desert. I have not worn them extensively yet, and may update my review later. At first glance, they appear to be good quality and I'm hopeful they will be as durable as my other Columbia pants. They fit well and the internal draw strings are a bonus for additional fit. I ordered the "short" size as I am 5'2," and they are still a little on the long side for me. With my hiking boots on they do not drag on the ground, but I do wish they were a little shorter. The ankle cuff does have a draw string to turn these into a "jogger" style, but the rest of the leg material balloons around the tightened cuff, which looks kinda weird. Over all, they are comfortable and flattering.

I love, love, love these travel pants. They are lightweight and a breeze to wash and wear the next day when on the road. However, I returned the two pairs I just bought because 1) they are too baggy and 2) the size 14 was too large. I also bought some size 14 bermuda shorts and they fit very nicely. The pants, in contrast, are too big in the waist, the crotch and the thigh area. PLEASE make a travel pant that fits more snugly and does not make me look heavier than I am!

I have a pair of this Just right style from many years back (maybe 10 years?) that I love so much, but I don't wear them a lot because the only pocket on the leg is far too small to fit my phone. Does the new version of this pant fit a standard iphone? I suggest making the pocket instead for this pant like th ones you have on other styles of pants with an attached flap that you lift up to then drop your phone in. I'd defintely buy this style if the pocket would be adapted to fit a phone securely. Pockets are important, esp. in warmer weather when not wearing a jacket!! Thanks for listening, Columbia.

The material feels great, they seem like good pants, I wish they had them in my size. Im normally a size 0 so I knew they might not fit but finding good hiking pants that fit me is becoming a little frustrating. Please accommodate smaller sizes as you do for plus sizes.

Draw cord at waist, high waist and no side pockets are nice features that contribute to a flattering fit while still enough give to be comfortable while kayaking. Would like to suggest that 29.5 inches is not short enough for a "petite" length. 27.5 would be perfect. If I did not need to roll up the pants legs, I would have given them a "5."

The pant fit great and feels great. I knew it only had the one pocket but I didn't realize it couldn't fit my phone. It is angled which made it even harder to store anything but a few bills or keys.

These pants are functionally useful. The only complaint is that they are drawstring pants. I feel like I'm putting on sweatpants! But they don't look bad, and their fairly flattering.

I like everything about these except for the belting. The string stretches. I'm having to continually retie it. A different belt set up would help.

These are nice pants but not a good fit for me. I have a black pair of size 12 Columbia Just Right pants which are comfortable but too big through the waist. I hoped size 10 would fit better. I am tall and the smaller size has a shorter rise which does not work for me.

Nice, comfy, flattering for a hiking pant, very lightweight fabric that would be great for warmer/moderate temps (I was looking for something more fall weight). Unfortunately the 2 short was too big. For reference I’m 5’3” 108 lbs, 27 waist/36 hip, inseam 29. If they had 0 that would probably work. The quest continues.

I already have these same pants in black from several years ago. I could use a pair in tan so I ordered the tusk color. They fit well, were true to size, but I returned them because they no longer have the option to roll up into a capri length. My black ones have a twill tape/snap at the knee that is used to roll up the leg to capri length. That option has worked very well for me when needing a longer pant on a cool morning/cool evening day, but warmer afternoon. Usually wear from sun up to bedtime on outings with the kids, amusement parks, zoo, camping, lake house, beach fishing, kayaking, etc.

I really like these pants. They are very multi-purpose. I have worn them to work and also to hike. They are also great for traveling and very comfortable to wear on the plane. My only complaint is with the stitching along the front of the leg. It's very easy to snag, and in fact my tan pair snagged on the edge of a cabinet and pulled the stitching out. Not a very tough pant in that respect.

Sturdy stretch fabric keeps me comfy. I cinched in the cuff because I'm pretty thin - the pants are super loose and look great with the tight cuff. I wear them for everything. The only ding I give them is the lack of pockets. I can squeeze my credit card into the leg pocket but a phone? no way.

I ordered short because the regular was too long but the short was exactly the same length!

I adore these! Bought them for an Alaskan cruise and a 14er hike in Colorado. Great to wear on the plane and very comfortable to wear hiking! My only disappointment was I noticed I had two areas where the thigh pilled. I only wore them 5 times so that was surprising, but it would not stop me from recommending them.
