As always, the Zappos customer service team exceeded my expectations. Love these walkers so much I am ordering another pair! I have a wide foot with several foot problems (hammer toes, calluses, etc.). The extra-wide size is absolutely perfect and so lightweight I forget I'm wearing them. Great purchase.

I wear an orthotic with a heel lift and these sneakers are amazing. I have bought so many different types of sneakers since my hip replacement and leg length discrepancy and I have finally found the ones that fit everything including my foot. I bought 2 pair at the same time for fear of not being able to get them in the future.

Love the fit. Wide in the toe base and narrow enough for me in the heel. Excellent cushioning.

Great shoe! I'm a nurse with a wide foot and have been wearing New Balance for years. I recently tried another brand. They were comfortable for a while, but that didn't last long. I switched back to New Balance and I'm happy I did.

I had the 845 and 846 previously. I was not disappointed with the 847. I love the silver with the pink accent. Most importantly, they are comfortable for my walking everyday with my walking poles. I sincerely enjoy the comfort and the look. By the way, I can easily use my own inserts from Sorbothane.

I have worn a version of this shoe for many years. It has a different last than most of the other New Balance shoes -- narrow heel with a wide toe box -- and longer in the foot bed. I love these shoes. You do have to buy a half size larger than your usual shoe size. I also wear my orthotic in addition to the insert provided.

I actually have two pairs of the WW847. I bought them after tearing my Achilles' tendon. These were the first shoes I was able to (comfortably) wear after surgery. I needed some black athletic shoes that I could wear in the fall/winter while I was recovering from surgery. Yes, I wore them with dress pants and suits, and, yes, I looked a little dorky, but I was just so thrilled to be in two shoes that I didn't mind! For athletic shoes, they're attractive. They offer excellent arch support, they're fairly light-weight, and very comfortable.

New Balance is one of the few brands of sneakers that comes in a wide width. This style gives me the comfort, support and room I need to deal with the neuropathy in my feet. I highly recommend it.

I needed a shoe that would offer support and a good fit for my narrow heel. With Zappos' generous return policy I was able to compare the fit of two different shoes and choose the appropriate pair which I have been wearing and find very comfortable.

Shoes are more attractive than pictured. So happy with them. My feet do not look as large in this soft gray/silver combination as they do in white. I wear black pants ALL the time and they really look so good with black. They do run a half size large. I returned the 8.5ww for a size 8ww and they fit perfect. Do wish all tennis shoe manufacturers would put longer laces on shoes that are an extra wide width.

Extremely comfortable shoe...unfortunate that the colors are so limited. The white would be great for nurses but that is just what it looks like: a nurse's shoe. Haven't decided whether to keep them...

I love these shoes, they look good and are very comfortable. I wore them too much to begin with, they made my legs sore. They have a nice wide toe box.

This shoe is as great as all the reviews indicate. Who would think that it would take so long to find a running shoe that is comfortable to walk in? Doesn't seem like it should but when you have picky feet like mine I guess I shouldn't be surprised. This shoe has great support and was comfortable right out of the box. I got size wide after being fitted in a NB store and it seems to do the trick for me (they didn't have my size so I went to Zappos to get 9.5 wide). This shoe has a very roomy toe box which is fabulous for my bunion and big toe osteo arthritis. I have been going out of my mind trying to find a walking shoe so I didn't feel like crying every time I tried to walk but I think this is it! I highly recommend these shoes. They are super comfortable and the size 6M fits true to size. There is enough toe room and adequate support. They are super lightweight and great for walking. I wish the colors were other than pink or blue, but the quality of the shoe more than compensates for the choice of color.

Great shoe! I had an earlier model of this shoe that I had for a few years and so glad to know that you still carry it. I wear a 9 wide and was concernd about purchasing a shoe without trying it on first. It fit perfectly. Nice support, especially if t Your foot tends to probate. Very comfortable too. I would highly recommend it.

I love these shoes! I have been wearing them for about 2 years, getting new ones every 6 months or so. Walking with my dog every day for 45 minutes and wearing them for errands and house work, they take a beating. They come in narrow sizes to fit my hard to fit feet and I wouldn't buy anything else. Plus, buying from Zappos makes it easy!

I have plantar fasciitis in both of my feet. I typically spend several hours a day on them and this is the only shoe that keeps my fasciitis from flaring up after being on them. They are also great workout shoes.

I have been using New balance shoes for several years, I am on my feet all the time for work and these make those 12 hours shifts manageable. I would recommend them, they are stylish but not overboard, offer good support, and they are lightweight.

These shoes fit well and are a good one for wide feet. I have problems with my feet from left over back damage 30 yrs ago. It continues to get worse and I really have to watch what I wear. These shoes have been a find for me.

I have been buying this model sneaker for over 6 years or more. It is the only walking sneaker I will wear. They change the model number almost every year, last year it was 846, but it is the same sneaker. If you are a walker, you will love this shoe, and it is well worth the extra money.

Can't remember when I first tried on and bought a pair of these shoes, but it was before the model 843. I still have my old pairs of 843 and 845 shoes, and they fit perfectly (but are finally worn out). Last year I bought a pair of the model 846 and they were too big and too wide. My son told me about buying from Zappos so I ordered the newest model 847, after reading the positive reviews, and the shoes fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I'll probably buy another pair or two before they change the model again. The only thing I don't like as well about this model is the color of the N - I liked the older blue color because it went better with jeans.

These shoes are very nice. I need wide width and New Balance always fits well. This style is good looking and comfortable. And Zappos is the best! Great customer service with a smile and even a joke! Love Zappos!

I ordered these for my mom who needs a supportive shoe for walking as she has arthritis & has had a knee replacement. She's worn New Balance before and loves these shoes. They are comfortable and very supportive. FYI, they are more silvery than they look in the photo.

I'd purchased a pair of New Balance sneakers several years ago and didn't like them at all. They were too hard and made my feet hurt more. But THESE are fantastic!! They are flexible and giving, while still offering the perfect amount of support. I love them!!
