I love these shoes. I am 59 and have moderate knee and back pain. I am on my feet all day and these are the best shoes I have found that give me the support I need. I have been wearing the 847's for many years. I do wish NB would come out with new color combinations, but regardless, these are great shoes for support and comfort.

This is my second pair. I wear them all the time. I have a narrow foot, usually 9-1/2 narrow, and I use orthotics in my shoes. I wear 10 narrow in these shoes. Nice, roomy toe box. Mesh on either side of ball of foot makes the shoe very comfortable. Based on my recommendation, a friend bought a pair and she loves them.

The WW847 has the wide toe box I need. I also have these shoes in white and I wish I could find this great fit in more NB colors and styles.

I bought these shoes for the first time nearly two years ago and they have been the most comfortable shoes that I have ever owned. I wore them out. I was ecstatically happy to find the same shoes again fir less than I paid for the first pair, thank you very much, Zappos. My orthopedic insert fits well. I can be on my feet all day without discomfort or pain.

Good shoe for walking; just as I had expected from New Balance. I was easily able to fit my inserts into these shoes.

I love this shoe. I have a narrow heel and wider toe box with some arthritis across the top of my feet. This is very comfortable shoe for walking and is also very cute and not clunky looking the way some walking shoes are. I feel like ordering extra pairs in case they stop making them.

I recently had two total hip replacements and have been in physical therapy for several months. These sneakers made a tremendous difference in my recovery. They stabilize the foot and are extremely comfortable. I will continue to wear them for any sneaker occasion!

I'm a 67 year old woman. I suffered with plantar fasciitis 6 years ago and eventually went to a Dr. specializing in podiatry. One of his recommendations was to get some supportive shoes. I told the shoe salesperson my problem and without hesitation she got these shoes for me. We got the right size and that's that. I just got a new pair, am wearing them now, no need to break them in. I go to Zappos once a year for a new pair. My old ones are for gardening.

Great sneaker. I wanted leather due to the upcoming winter weather on the East Coast. I also wear an orthotic insert and these fit perfectly with plenty of toe room. I ordered these plus a pair of Vionic sneakers which I thought might fit better with the orthotic, but they did not have the toe room these have. I recently injured my knee and have been looking for supportive shoes that I would feel safe and comfortable wearing. I researched women's athletic shoes online and consistently found these New Balance recommended in the top three walking shoes. They provide stability, good support all around, and are comfortable all day. The plus to all that is they are great looking too!

Although this is considered more of a walking shoe, I run. This is the only shoe I have been able to find in my width that does not cause horrible knee pain and shin splints. This is the second pair I have owned, bought these so I would have them when my others wear out (am afraid they will not be available when I need them). I have other NB shoes that I wear for everyday walking and shopping, etc....but these are the only ones I consider wearing when walking long distances or running. I only wish they came in a more colorful snazzy style. Other than that I am 100% satisfied with this shoe.

After having surgery to help with my flat feet, this shoe fit and felt wonderful. I had to send other pairs back because of the arch hardness or too narrow. Thank you zappos for making shoe shopping easy..otherwise I really hate shoe shopping.

These seem to be the only shoes I can consistently wear. I love them, but they seem to wear out faster than they should given their price.

A great, comfortable walking shoe. No break in time. comfy from the first time wearing them. And one more big thing for me...they are very lightweight! I just ordered my second pair. For me, they ran a little short. I usually wear size 8 but needed the 8.5 Nice flexible sole also that makes for a softer landing each time you put your foot down.

This is a very comfortable walking shoe especially for wide feet with a large bunion. The cushioning is terrific, and they felt great from the first day.

Perfect shoe for stability, walking, running, all-day wear. Removable footbed means I can put in my own bunion-soothing insole. I ride the subway when not walking through Central Park or across town, and this shoe takes me up and down many flights of stairs daily. Also surefooted on the running track at the Jackie Kennedy Onassis Reservoir.

I am very satisfied with these shoes. I wear orthotics with leg braces, so I needed to order 1/2 size larger and the width EE. The size is perfect and they are very comfortable.

Love the shoes. The mesh allows for a light-weight that makes walking comfortable. This is the second (or third) pair of this particular model I've owned and they keep their shape nicely through constant wear. I'll buy another pair, I'm sure.

Shoe had very deep toe box which I wanted, but heel was too loose regards of lacing technique. I probably needed a half size which was not an option with this shoe style.

Fantastic. So comfortable. Accommodates by bunion. Width is exceptional, and hard to find. Keep making them!

These are lightweight shoes. I usually order an 9 and for some reason I ordered this in a 9.5. Glad I did as seemed to run shorter than then the NB I have been normally wearing.

Very comfortable. Good stability. Light weight. I like them so far, but have only worn them a few times. I wish they came in a style that was not white,something like hiking boot colors.

These are great shoes for walking. I have problems with my feet due to wearing high heels for many years and these shoes have been great for me. I'm able to walk pretty far without pain and each day I'm going farther. I wear a 6.5 and the size fits great. These are cuter in person than they are online.

These are really good walking shoes. I like the white color since I am not into all the bright gaudy colors. They are not as good as my old New Balance 844s, but they will do. I did order a size 10W although I usually wear a 9. That leaves room for when I wear heavier socks.
