I have a very wide foot and bunions as well. I tried several brands of shoes sized the same (WW), and this shoe was definitely wider than the others I have tried, but I am unsure where that leaves this shoe on the "true to size" spectrum. For me, this shoe is very comfortable with good support for walking.

Love these shoes! I'm on my feet all day and since I'm a bit over on the old weight limit, these shoes help my feet forget they've been carrying a load all day. They're comfortable, roomy and well constructed. My only complaint would be the shoestrings are too short and I can barely make a bow in them. Otherwise, primo!

Even though I prefer trying shoes on in a store, I did order this New Balance WW847. I was more than satisfied when I opened the box, laced the shoes and tried them on. They are a true fit and are very comfortable. I need the NW support as I have a bad back and require shoes that help me walk correctly.

Comfortable immediately; toe box important to me and this one has enough room. It was a perfect fit.

It seems like I hit purchase on my computer and the next thing the shoes are at the door! Very impressive service!

Love-em... I'm 72 and weigh 105 lbs. I have a thin bony foot but oddly enough I wear a medium width because of toe width. No other athletic shoe has been able to fit me properly. New Balance has always fit the bill for my problem. My last New Balance shoes keep me comfortably walking 5 to 6 miles every other day for 5 years. Love this model with the metallic finish and I chose pink as it adds a zip to my style and and fashion conscience attitude. My feet thank you.

I got these to start a new walking program and have been totally pleased. I was replacing my NB 812's which slipped on my heels. I purchased 1/2 size larger than my usual size as I usually do with NB and they are perfect. They are light, attractive, supportive, and I don't even think of my feet as I walk. I use my custom orthotics in them.

OMG! These are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever put on my feet! I have a wide foot and a high instep...a combination that is surprisingly hard to find. These felt like pillows! New Balance styles can be hit or miss, but this is definitely a hit!

This is a very well made and sturdy shoe and if you have wide feet like me and need a large toe box, this is a shoe that works. It also is a deep shoe that will accommodate diabetic orthotics.

Great fit, true to size and plenty of room in toe area. No break in time needed, first time on felt like I had worn them over and over. Will buy second pair to have when these wear out!

These shoes are great. I agree they need to make these shoes in some fun, bold, and multi-bold colors, as well as other walking shoes. The 1750 came out in a couple of bold colors, but they need something in the SL-2 Last that has color (1750 is PL-1 and so isn't for the duck-footed individual). Walkers like excitement in their shoes too -- please add more color and choices!

I absolutely love these shoes. They actually have some leather to them and are not all mesh. I enjoy how sturdy they feel and appreciate the support they give. This is good shoe and I am glad that I made the purchase.

Honestly these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! I have very wide feet. Great padding in the sole for walking.

These offer excellent support and balance. I have difficulty walking and find these sneaking the best shoes I have to walk safely. They are light too. 'just wish they weren't so costly.

These shoes are comfortable right out of the box. You can wear them all day with no break in period. True to size. Do they look fashionable? No, but you look better if your feet don't hurt.

Love these shoes! This is my second pair. My first pair was not worn out but just wanted to get another one before the style was changed.

I usually wear a 7.5 D. Had to re-order an 8 EE. Was a bit surprised by that. The new pair arrived a day after! I love Zappos...but they feel great ! Headed for the Susan G Walk in October, so needed a high mileage shoe for walking.

I needed a stiff-soled shoe, with a wide toe box following foot surgery. This shoe fits that bill perfectly and is comfortable. I found the customer service staff to be very friendly and helpful, but I didn't feel that they had a great depth of product knowledge about any of the shoes that I was considering. I actually spoke with New Balance customer support to learn detailed information about this shoe before I purchased it. I did experience an unfortunate problem with one of the shoes I received as I was trying different brands to find one that met the requirements for my foot following surgery. I received a pair of light-weight hiking shoes and the right shoe was damaged and dirty. The insole was very dirty, some suede had been scraped off the side of the shoe, and the original product label sewn into the shoe's tongue had been removed with scissors. Not great! To the credit of Zappos customer service - they issued a generous credit to me which I applied to my purchase of the New Balance sneakers. So, they did the right thing. Just check your shoes carefully when you receive them, and you should be fine.

I love these sneakers and have several pair. I do have orthotics in them, and that makes them more comfortable. The problem I have is that the mesh gets very dirty and though I clean them with bleach, they stay grey-ish.

I've been purchasing this shoe for 2 years on the recommendation of a podiatrist post-foot injury. It is very supportive. I order a new pair every 6-9 months and this pair is definitely shorter. I e-mailed New Balance - very bizarre.

I like New Balance, have for years. I ordered the wide in this shoe and it works out well. I walk a lot and find this shoe very comfortable and my feet do not get too hot.

The shoe is completely synthetic with a non flexible vinyl or similar material over the top of the toes. Not comfortable because it doesn't move with the toes and foot. The WW877 beats this shoe by miles and is the one I chose instead.

I've been buying New Balance shoes for ages because I have a long arch and they seem to fit the ball of my foot best. However, I have to say that I'm wondering about the quality of the foot bed. Seems like something has changed. I usually notice a big difference between my worn out shoes and my new ones, and this time I didn't. A little disappointed.
