I am still wearing these shoes one year later. They do run big in size and width so I just put in two inserts to make them fit the way that they should fit. They are really a long lasting shoe that can take a beating and much wear and tear and still keep on being worn. I don't know if they will ever wear out.

My "paws" are purring in this pair of New Balance shoes! Hooray! Love both the style and comfort. I have trouble finding a shoe that is comfortable. Now have purchased 2 pairs. Will continue to order them as the toe box is wide enough to accommodate my very wide feet; especially upper part of my foot as I have some small foot fractures which are now arthritic. The heel also fits very well. You don't feel like you are walking out the shoe or trying to hold the shoe on while you walk. These shoes are truly made for walking and comfort.

These are very stylish NB walking shoe. I have very flat feet and my doctor recommend NB. The people at Zappos were so help. I have orthotics in my shoes so I bought a size larger. The most comfortable shoes. Most NBs have 90 days wear and return policy. NB and Zappos stand by their products.

The shipping back was provided with a shipping label, the new size arrived in a timely manner. Thank you so much. The new size is as comfortable as a new pair of bedroom slippers. I will order again. The back therapist recommends that I purchase a new pair every six months. When I put them on, no problem with the back. The old pair were only six months old and did not look worn out but the back said otherwise. Thank you, for your support.

I love these shoes! I bought two pair for work. I am on my feet a lot. They are comfortable. I switch them every day to wear.

I love this shoe! It fits well and is very comfortable. I added an insole from Vionic, which I bought here, and that makes for a more amazing fit. The color of the shoe is not quite as brown as the picture, It is a bit lighter, but still a good color.

I previously owned these shoes. My feet are wide and I have high arches. These are a great fit. I tried a different shoe in NB, same width and they were too narrow.

This shoe is a blessing. I am a runner, so after my daily, run, I put these on for a day of bliss on my feet. I have bought 3 other pairs just in case they get discontinued. Well worth the price!

I love the WW928 so much, I just ordered my second pair! I have been wearing the 811 and thought the 812 would be comparable, but they aren't. These are actually closer to the 812. I have feet problems and wear a wide shoe. Due to extreme swelling, I've had to move up to the 4E wide. I also wear 3/4 orthotics, which fit inside these shoes without taking the insole out. That makes a huge difference in comfort because the insole in these shoes is very cushy. The best part about these shoes is the fact that the shoe laces do not come untied. I've always had problems with laces coming untied so I had to knot them. NB has improved upon the common shoe lace so there's no worries about them coming untied. At the end of the day one tug and they come untied - no more knots to undo. Since I wear these to work, I wanted shoes that looked nice. I have the black leather that don't look at all like casual shoes and the tan. I'm eying the white next. I've purchased a couple pairs of Prophet shoes, but the New Balance are far more comfortable and provide the best support overall.

This type of shoe was recommend for me because of my foot problems. I was hesitant at first because of a problem with my first pair of New Balance shoes. I was told that I used the wrong ones and to try these. These shoes are great! The toes have plenty of room for my extra-wide feet. The roll bar keeps me stable and the cushioning helps me for my long hours of standing. I can feel the difference in my posture and legs. I feel more secure as I walk after my last hip replacement.

I love these shoes (except for the fact that my socks are always wet since I live in a rain forest). The shoes are comfortable right out of the box and can be worn almost around the clock. I cannot judge the arch support since I have orthotics in my shoes and always remove the supports that come in the shoes.

These are very comfortable. I was wearing their 811 but the 812 is not the same and I found them to be very uncomfortable. These 928s are actually closer to the 811 then the 812 are. Due to swelling in my feet I've had to order extra-extra wide shoes, which are hard to find. Lace up shoes have been hard to open wide enough to get my swollen feet into and then lace up again. I tried several pair before these and had difficulty with all. The laces on the 928 are thick and easy to open then pull tight again. However, they could be longer. The padding in the insole is very cushy. I'll probably end up removing it in order to add my orthodic. If there was arch support in the insole I would just leave them in. The toe box is nice and wide. The length and width are true to size. I'm happy I finally found what I'm looking for and will now order them in other colors.

I love my New Balance shoes that I ordered from Zappos. I purchased two other pairs of the same shoes and liked them so much that I purchased them again. I also love that Zappos always gets my shoes to me right away and there is no hassle if the shoes do not fit. Their return policy is the best, and I have dealt with many other on-line retailers. I chose moderate arch support because I wear an orthotic and use my own support instead of the one that comes with the shoes.

I have ordered two pairs of this same shoe New Balance WW928. I ordered the tan pair a couple of weeks ago to see if they would fit. I had 2 foot surgeries on my left foot. One surgery was in Jan and the second was in May. As a result my foot is a lot wider and the only shoe the doctor could find to fit was Dr Comfort mens 8 1/2 double wide which is way too long. I have ordered shoes from Zappos in the past so I decided to look for a womans size 8 4e. That is how I ended up selecting this shoe. The first pair fit fine so I just ordered a 2nd pair in black. I bought these new balance 928s for stability, cushioning and their ability to support my weight. They accommodate my multiple lower body orthopedic problems including two artificial knees and an old Achilles' tendon injury. The wide width is true to size, the large toebox is a real plus,and the shoe laces are long enough to accommodate that. This pair replaces a pair of 926s that I bought in 2006 which are now showing slight wear but still looking new.

These shoes were recommended by both my orthotics maker and my doctor, and I am GLAD. They are the best shoes right from the start. My orthotics fit well in them, and I am very comfortable. I looked at a lot of shoes (ask patient Zappos) and these are the top pick.

The size and width were perfect for my wide foot. It gives me great arch support and excellent stability. I recommend this shoe for walking, and plan to buy it again in other colors. Also, it was comfortable right out of the box!

It took me some time to get used the clunky style of these shoes but now I like them. I have Morton's neuroma in both feet, and these shoes have helped a lot. Can wear them for most of the day without pain. And custom orthotics fit in them appropriately Comfortable right out of the box.

I bought this pair of shoes before taking a trip to Sweden and Denmark and 3 months after having total knee replacement. I did so much walking on my trip, much of it over cobblestone streets, hills, steps and these shoes were so comfortable and I had no knee pain! I didn't particularly like the color of the shoes, but the comfort was worth it.

I love these shoes. I have bought many pairs. I have a wide foot and have plenty of room in them. Wear them all the time.

Very comfortable right out of the box. Bought them for a trip to Greece and they were great on my walk up the Acropolis in Athens, Plenty of support and cushioning in the foot bed. I wish that they were available in colors other than white!

A great shoe for balance & cushioning. The NB older model was the 927 & the 928 is also excellent. Lots of room in the toe box. Very good arch support. Footsmart did not carry size 10 1/2, so I chose Zappos. Thank you!
