Just as expected, fit is wonderful for all day work in hot south Texas. No problems with heel slipping, that is what the top most eyelet hole is used for, called the "heel lock"!

First sneaker I have ever had that I could just walk in! Since I have wide feet and a few other problems this is pretty awesome!

Very nice shoes -- my second pair. Only complaint is that the color is really more bone, not much like the color of the picture. Pretty wide in the heel.

Love these New Balance shoes. I struggled with Plantar Fasciitis until I found these shoes. With these shoes and proper stretch exercises, the problem disappeared. I highly recommend them.

These shoes are so very comfortable, perfect in width and size. When you are a 5½EEEE it has been so hard to find. It is so nice to know Zappos will carry my size. I really like the tan color.

I've worn a pair of NB WW847WBs for a couple of years. They were satisfactory but recently they started cramping my toes so I looked for a half-size larger. It looked like WW928WS was a close match so I ordered them in 11AA. I am very satisfied with my purchase. The toe box is roomy and the fit on the heels are pleasant surprise. Ties shoes are usually loose on my right foot but this shoe is fairly snug. The roll bar sole also helps stabilize my gait.

I've been buying this sneaker for years. It's good looking in both this color and white and is appropriate for both summer and winter use. I've developed a neuropathy in my feet - which numbs my feet - so stability is more important than ever and this sneaker provides that. Plus it just plain looks good!

I have been wearing the same New Balance model for years. I got my new pair for less than they cost on the New Balance website. How does Zappos do it?

This shoe is the best shoe I have ever put on my feet. I work as a CNA. I am on my feet 8 to 12 hours a day straight. I feel like I am walking on air! The New Balance 928 is the best walking shoe ever made. Thank you Zappos!

This is an excellent shoe. Due to severe Lyme disease, I have neuropathy and arthritis, and this last is the best one I've found for my foot. Plenty of toe room, which is paramount.

First time buying this shoe. Loved the 1122/23 model. The new replacement is the worst with low back and cheaply made. After many tries I finally settled on the NBWW928. They look good and feel great and I will probably buy another color soon. Don't know why NB feels it has to keep changing good styles. Everyone is complaining.

3rd pair I've worn. Use for everyday support. If I don't I can expect back and hip discomfort. Absolutely love staff and expedited delivery and free returns if necessary.

This is a wonderful shoe, especially for those with a narrow heel but wide toe and high instep. I have had trouble finding shoes to fit me correctly and this comes in a generous selection of sizes and widths.

Exactly as described. I have very wide feet and these were ever-so-slightly a tad narrow but with a few wearings they are now very comfortable.

I really like this shoe. I've been wearing NB like this for years. I am a RN and I could be on my feet many hours without foot pain.

These provide excellent support for walkers with challenging foot problems. I have bunions, pronation and a narrow heel. These shoes fit me well, and the wide toebox helps. I like the white mesh, which is a little lighter and cooler than the black leather ones I wear most of the time. They are not a fashion statement type of shoe, but I like that they provide a little height. I would like to see the mesh in grey and white, black and white and light blue and white for some variety.

I'm age 64 and have begun walking again after being inactive for a long time. I received these shoes today and wore them all day including a half hour walk this evening. They are comfortable as well as supportive. I have a high arch and instep and these gave good support. One of my concerns while walking over uneven pavement has been falling. These shoes help with stability. The only negative I have is the rather frumpy style.

I'm really enjoying this shoe because it didn't hurt my foot from the first time I put it on. My feet are very hard to fit because my foot is very wide, and since I wasn't able to find shoes that fit when I was younger, I now have bunions and hammer toes. I need a shoe that is rounded at the top, not pointed. The box has to be high enough to accommodate the hammer toes. This shoe takes care of all three of my problems. I immediately bought another pair and as soon as I can afford it, I will buy more. Thank you New Balance for making a shoe like this. I know shoe manufacturers need to make many different styles for many different people, but please keep making at least one shoe for people like me. It's been a few years since I've been able to find a shoe for exactly my needs. I'm certain I'm not the only person with these needs. The only drawback is the heel is too wide, but at least it laces high enough up my foot so that I'm able to tighten it and keep the shoe from slipping off my heel.

These are very comfortable shoes. The lining is soft and smooth. I like the wider heel for stability. The mesh is very pretty. I do require using all of the lacing openings.

These shoes fit well, but they are really boxy looking. I also ordered another pair of New Balance that I like better, so am keeping them and returning these.
