Very comfortabel and easy to pack on long trips!

Fits great and pockets hold everything I need. Also have had other brands this is better Just Say'in.

Almost as soon as I received my first pair of these shorts, I ordered another. They fit well, I like the longer length, and they are the right weight for summer or warmer climates.

Really like these shorts. Very light weight. Fit as hoped (not baggy). I actually got a 38 after reading other reviews but exchanged them for 36. Very satisfied with fit and quality and recommend them. I always like Columbia stuff. Good quality.

I bought these in every color. Wear them every day. Very comfortable.You simply cannot go wrong with these.

These are great cargo shorts. I have owned several pair for a number of years - they have become my go-to shorts. Comfortable, durable, practical, easy to maintain and quick-drying.

Good for when you never wear the zip off legs on convertible pants. However the legs on these shorts are wider at the bottom (12.5 inches) than the legs at the zip off point on the convertibles (11.0 inches).

I recently bought a pair of these shorts, and so far I love them. They are extremely light and comfortable. In fact they are so light, the only problem I have is that they seem like they could wear out rather quickly, which I obviously have no idea if they will or not. If they can stand the test of time, these are definitely a great buy.

I wore these shorts hiking John Muir Trail for five days. They are light and comfortable. The difference between other shorts I've worn of this style is the slight stretch in the waste. With the included belt, I've not worn other shorts that can compare in comfort. Also moved well when climbing over obstacles on the trail.

I wear these for work and I also bike home with them. The zip pocket is great for important things while the right velcro pocket is fine for frequently needed things.

I purchased this product for my husband. I did purchase one size up based on the reviews and they fit perfectly. The shorts have a nice fit and appear to be high quality. I did purchase gravel expecting them to be gray, but they are actually a dark green. Zappos processed an exchange promptly. It is rare to find a company with such good customer service.

These shorts are awesome. I bought them for my boyfriend. They fit well, appear to be good quality, ad they are reasonably priced. Nice light weight material for spring and summer.

My old Columbia cargo short finally became painting shorts after 6 or 7 years of constant use. I am a creature of consistency and wanted the same style and fit. I got what I wanted. They look and feel even better and they fit perfectly. I recommend buying these shorts.

Columbia is a quality brand that we have bought before. These shorts are no exception and are perfect for tall men with long legs (my husband is 6'5" tall). The 11" inseam is just the right length. We bought these to wear on an upcoming African Safari because they are light weight and quick dry. We give them two thumbs up!

I love these shorts, I own 5 pairs of them. The material is so great, it is tough and resist tears, light weight, drys quickly. Perfect. I wear them on warm days when hunting, the material isn't very load, and it is so much lighter than many other tech shorts I have owned. But don't confuse light weight with weakness, I climb all over the place in these, through some of the thickest brush Oregon has to offer, both on the coast and here in the Rogue Valley, and I have yet to rip or tear a pair. The zip pockets are great, plenty of storage room. I really cant say enough about these shorts. Get a pair and you'll know what I mean.

I spend a lot of time on the water and mostly in a kayak. I love that these are sturdy, lightweight, and long. I'm not a big fan of short shorts, so being able to choose a 12" length was valuable to me. Favorite shorts.

Nice quality; lightweight.

I bought these for my son, he is 6'1" and he likes that these shorts are long enough to hit at the top of his knees. He is not in to the short shorts at all! He also likes that these are light weight and easy to wear. I bought him the grey and also the camp. And of course I received great service from Zappos!

Great fit, true to size. I'm 6'6" 215# and these fit me well. You can get them filthy stained with blood, sweat and tears, wash them and they come clean and the look new. Pack them, pull them out and shake them and they look newly pressed. They are very durable and take the abuse. I do yard work, golf, walk, hike, swim and go to nice restaurants wearing them. I'm slowly replacing all my shorts with Silver-Ridge. I highly recommend them.

About 10 years ago I had a pair of shorts just like these from Anchor Blue. They were my favorite shorts and I wore them for eight years all the time until they finally just plain wore out. I searched much over the years for a replacement and never could find the shorts. Well, These are "he shorts! Finally! When I got them I was walking around saying to myself "I cannot believe it!" I am wearing them right now too. Being 6'6" it is difficult to find long enough shorts that are comfortably loose and feel comfortable. These are them. No more searching for the perfect shorts!

Great shorts! Run a bit small so if you like some extra room, I would suggest going one size larger than you normally would.

I read reviews that stated the sizes ran somewhat small -- so I ordered a size 38 instead of a 36 that I normally wear. The 38s were too big so I exchanged them for 36s which fit perfectly. Zappos return policy is excellent, easy, and fast, as usual.

Great comfort with reliable construction

I've been looking for a pair of casual shorts that are as comfortable as my running shorts in very hot weather and I have found them. These shorts are very light weight, they wick moisture well and they look nice. The different configuration of the pockets (one has a zipper, one is velcro) is very handy but the material of the shorts is so lightweight that anything you put in the cargo pockets will bang against your legs while you're walking. Overall, these are my new favorite shorts
