Very comfortable shorts. I bring these alot when I travel. Love them ! Have several different colors. They hold up great.

I wear these shorts every day for work in a tropic weather environment. The are comfortable, breathable and tough. When you get them wet they dry extremely quickly. Highly recommend

The Men's Silver Ridge Cargo Shorts have been a staple in my closet for the past few years. They're lightweight, dry quickly, offer enough room for a comfortable fit and are my go to short for summer days on the water.

I got these shorts for my boyfriend. He's not into the "hiking" look so he was unsure of the brand at first, but I got him the black and gray and he loved the fit and style of them both. They're really versatile too - I've noticed that he works in the garage in them, buthe also looks good enough that I'm happy to step out with him in them too :) For reference, he is 6' 240 lbs and I got him the size 40 with the 12 inseam.

I have a hard time finding comfortable shorts that aren't athletic/mesh. These are great, with roominess for bigger legs and just the right elasticity in the waste to accommodate an actual waste size that is +/- 1.5 inches of what is listed.

I bought these as a back-up pair of shorts for a 5-day trek, but wore them every day on my trip since they functioned so well. They are comfortable and provide useful storage for small items with many conveniently located pockets. They are styled well enough to wear at home and around town, as well.

Very comfortable with quick drying fabric. It is perfect for outdoor use but dressy enough to wear to dinner.

I used to buy cotton cargo and various cotton shorts all the time. I found that when the weather really heated up, so did I. Not to mention the sweatiness. In come these shorts... Perfect all around. Soft, great material, cool and light weight, super comfortable. I don't get a chance to build up sweat in these. I really love them. Great colors and style looks awesome too.

The Silver Ridge Cargo shorts are the best shorts that I have had the pleasure of wearing. I do long distance tramping and couldn't do without them when out in the wilderness. They have a very light feel and remain cool during steep/hard climbing and remain dry due to the lighter material. They are very hard wearing, easy to wash, and are very quick drying. I purchased these for my husband because we are going on vacation. I wanted something he could get wet and keep on if we ended up on the town. I bought him three different shorts (the other shorts were not this brand) and these are the ones he wanted to keep and he wants another pair. He loves the fit, they are light weight, look good out, and at the beach, and on a fishing boat. The elastic on the sides give him great comfort, and you can't even see the elastic. The only thing I neglected to tell him was the price. He would never spend over $20 on a pair of shorts. I think it was worth it because he will get a lot of wear out of them for years to come. They have a classic look. (His are the 12 inch length.)

Five years ago I bought my first pairs of Columbia cargo shorts. Two pair, wore every other day for 5 years. Unbelievably durable and extremely comfortable. I'll never wear cotton shorts again.

These shorts are light weight yet rugged. I frequently have trouble finding shorts that fit my 6'3" 240lbs frame, but these do the trick well. They're not too short and offer great flexibility in the crotch and legs. I've owned a pair for over a year and just bought another.

These are great shorts. They wear well, very functional, and look great. I do miss the zipper back pockets the previous years shorts had. The description was correct in saying they fit slightly small. They have a 10" inseam and I do prefer the 9", but I am getting used to them. For warmer climates like coastal Georgia, these shorts are just the thing.

I bought these shorts for my 16 year old son who is traveling through europe with only a washing machine available to him every few days - no dryer. These are excellent! He said that they are a great fit, easy to wear, and easy to wash, and hang dry on the line with no problems or irritations! We bought them in multiple colors for him!
