I bought 2 shorts for my husband for Christmas and he loves them so for his birthday I bought him 3 more in different colors. Very functional, wear well, fit well and look spiffy.

So I bought these for work since I work in a warehouse that has no central air so lightweight material colthing is a must. We recently had a string of days where it was just under 90 degrees with high humidity so the warehouse was a sweat box. These shorts worked just as advertised. They dried very quickly when sweat or water would drip on to them. They are very roomy so movement wasn't constricted at all. They have to be the lightest shorts I've every owned but still durable like canvas or ripstop shorts. All in all they are perfect shorts for any active situation you have in front of you. I would definitely buy again and will do so soon.

I have been a fan of Columbia Sportswear for many years. The quality of their clothing keeps getting better and better! The shorts in particular are fantastic! They are by far my favorite shorts to wear everywhere. I have 4 pair of them and soon will be purchasing a couple more. Highly recommended!!!

As a man that is 6'5" tall, it is very hard to find shorts that come to your knees. The fit and quality are great and the material keeps you cool in the warmer weather. I will definitely add a few more pairs to my collection!

I have been wearing these shorts for the past 2-3 years. They shed moisture, dirt and are very durable. Throw them in the wash, they dry very fast, look great and are very comfortable. I have 8 pairs and wear them constantly. Highly recommend these shorts, great for all outdoor activities . Also very casual, look great with a polo shirt or just a tee shirt. Excellent product.

My husband loves this design. He finds them very comfortable and he loves the extra pockets (especially when out with a camera). The fit and sillouette is rather tailored and slimming even with the extra pockets since the pockets are mostly flat (not big floppy things). The gusset detail, an insert panel from the hems to the crotch, provides greater ease of movement when active. Love the durable, light weight and quick drying fabric which is very comfort for traveling in the tropics.

These are the best have 3 pair won't wear anything else.

I bought them for my super picky husband and he loves them. The material is almost like swimsuit material which means they are great for hot weather, but they also look really good with a nice polo. The material is good quality. They are definitely worth it.

I have bought around 7 pairs of these shorts. I am a PE teacher in Southern California and live in Shots. These shorts are awesome for everyday use. The fit is outstanding and the cargo pockets are useful for my job. Outstanding shorts!

I use these cargo shorts almost all year round, they last longer and are far lighter than any other brand I used in the far away past, these proved to be the best.

The Silver Ridge shorts that I purchased have performed beyond expectation. Made of rip-stop nylon with mesh pockets of like polyester material, they are fantastic, whether biking, trekking, rafting or any other activity. Their ability to wick moisture and assist in protection from UV rays as well as hold up to heavy wear stands them in good stead. They are "light as a feather" and are able to wash out quickly in cold water with liquid soap, making them a valued companion on extended trips. We fly abroad a lot and airlines limit us to 50 lbs. or less. These shorts are appreciated as they are light, do not wrinkle and hold their shape. Oh, by the way, the waist stretches should you eat a little too much. The cargo pockets are large, deep and hold a lot making a need for a day fanny-pack unnecessary. I like these shorts so much that I am ordering three additional pair in various colors. Colombia Sportswear and Silver Ridge shorts get my vote.

These shorts are very comfortable and seem to be very durable. My only suggestion is to remove the belt and throw it away as soon as you receive these. It's flimsy and useless.

The cargo short is an excellent choice for warm weather hiking - excellent fit and true sizing. I love the long inseam length option of 12 inches.

I travel a great deal and these shorts are great fro travel. The easily pack...and I wear them a lot and U can hand wash to go again. Any type of stain or dirt comes out. I would recommend to every one to but these shorts. Anthony

I bought a second pair of these for my husband....he is shopping averse, and does not pay much attention to style.....so I have to be the style police!! These met his criteria for comfort - some elastic in the waist, very comfortable lightweight fabric. Met my criteria for fashion - great fit, wash up very well and hang wrinkle free. Very versatile - they look great with casual dress shirts for a casual upscale night out, and function very well for hiking and every day use. I love the way he looks, and he loves the way he feels in these! I will be buying more

The material they are made of, the impermeability, the cool and relaxed feel you have, is simply the perfect outdoor outfit.

My husband was very happy with these. Length is perfect as he likes them cut long. The fit is amazing. But the best thing about them is the lightness. I don't think he's ever had shorts that didn't make him feel like he was weighted down, he was overjoyed. We are going on a trip to Italy and these will travel very, very well!

Great shorts. Material is not absorbent but does dry quickly and feels cool in this 100 degree Texas heat. Nice amount of pockets.

My husband loves them. They are lightweight and comfortable. They run tad big in the waist but they have a built in belt. Great for hot weather. My husband loves that you can pick the length, he loves the 12 inch length.
