These are a great pair of shorts for hiking or everyday use. Light weight and comfortable to wear.

This is my second pair. I bought one pair last month to test them. They fit comfortably, not too baggy or snug. The material is lightweight so it dries quickly and is great in warm temperatures. The belt is awesome just a quick snap to lock and just press it to unlock. And its adjustable. The 6 pockets come in handy when carrying different small to medium items when kayaking or short hikes.

These are great shorts. Lite and easy.

I am a retired guy and live in these shorts in the summer. They are comfortable, look good and dry quickly. The net pockets work well, and do not spill the contents when I sit down, as happens with some other styles. Zippered pocket is handy. I don't use the included belt, but it is easily removed and replaced with a regular one.

Fit perfect. I bought for 12 inch length which was actually 13 inches. The orange pockets were odd, but I wear shirts outside so no big deal.

There shorts were exactly what I wanted. The shorts were true to the listed size and the material of construction was perfect for hot weather usage. The overall quality makes me believe they will last a long time.

I really like this product. The are very light weight and is cool. Most cargo type shorts are bulky and heavy where these are not.

Finally, I've found the perfect pair of shorts. Lightweight material, comfort fit, and plenty of pockets make it terrific for traveling and for use at the destination. The added touch of elastic in the waist is appreciated and does not go unnoticed. More Please!

It's hard to find shorts in S size with actual 12" inseam. At 6'1", I personally find that these shorts are the ideal length. I also like the side pockets, which are discrete and lay flat. I've swam with them and they dry as quickly as board shorts. I ended up buying additional pairs in other colors.

I bought these shorts for my husband's birthday. Very versatile which perfectly fits his lifestyle. The quick drying fabric is perfect for when he cuts the grass, hikes and does outdoor activities in the heat of the day. But they are also great for casual events such as concerts, cookouts and going out to eat. They are comfortable and fit great. He loves these shorts!

these are great shorts, comfort, quality, light weight, great fit, quick to dry, I would recomend these to friends and family, and will be buying more in the future.

These are great so far. I've never been a fan of the added nylon belt, but its removable. The fabric and construction make these a great hot weather/water short. I'm not sure how long the zipper will hold out, as these thin ones often don't last long, but so far... great buy!

I bought one pair to see how I would like them and they are great. Very light weight. I then bought another pair in a different color. I am going to wearing these on my annual backpacking trip.

After my husband shopped around town, we should have known Columbia would have exactly what he was looking for. These shorts are perfect in every way - fit, fabric and function. He's 5'9" and 160 lbs and the medium size fits as expected. Pockets galore and secure. And, they look great on him!

I have three pairs, long 12" legs. On Idaho's Salmon River I have worn for the past three weeks, and will wear steady until Labor Day. I love the variety of pockets. Quick dry, fit great with a brlt! I wish rear pockets have zippers to secure a wallet .

I purchased this outdoor short for my husband who loves it. He is totally satisfied with the function of flexible moving, fast drying after sweat. Highly recommend it!
