Great shoe! I like that it is a minimalist shoe with a bit of an arch support. I CrossFit 4 times/week and love this shoe. Size up by a 1/2 size because they run small. I usually wear an 8 but ordered an 8.5. Perfect fit.

I am not a runner, but these shoes make me want to start for real this time. These are my first pair of Brooks. I usually buy Adidas because the front of my foot is wide, but the back of my foot is narrow. I thought they would not be supportive but to my surprise they are great! I started with a 7.5, but they were too tight, so I went to an 8, and they fit perfectly. The cushion is exactly where it needs to be for a mid strike running action, and I feel very springily in them even for the minimalist design. Flexible and supportive. Love these shoes.

These were my first pair of minimalist shoes and they are a great pair of running shoes. They take a little getting used to, but you will be up and running in no time. I love the blue/white color and have received a lot of compliments on the style.

Love this shoe for running. It is definitely a snugger fit than I am used to, but once I got used to it, I like it. It feels light but gives good support. I would buy it again.

These shoes have been everything else quoted in the reviews. I wear a 6.5 dress show and an 8 regular running shoe. I went with an 8 with these. Will certainly help with cutting down on heel striking.

I love these shoes! I would not call them minimalist shoes, as they have generous cushioning (which I love) but they are so light. I used to be an Asics only girl, but these shoes have converted me. I adore them. On longer runs (over 10 miles) my feet get a little sore, but for anything under that they are the greatest. And so cute. I did order half a size up and was grateful.

I loved these shoes! They were worth the price. The style was amazing and they were light and comfortable.I loved the bright color and the feel of them hugging my foot :) I would definetly recommend these shoes to anyone who runs on a daily basis,they won't disappoint! :)

I am in love with this shoe! I wanted to try a minimalist shoe because I have a heel spur that bothers me when I run -- I figured since the minimalist shoe discourages heel striking, running would not aggravate my heel as much. Sure enough, I was pain free during the run and after. They are also much more comfortable in general than traditional running shoes; I fell in love with them the moment I tried them on. An unintended benefit is that in the PureConnect, and using the technique I read online (leaning forward more and shortening your stride), I ran much faster than usual but didn't feel like I was trying harder. Plus, speaking as a girl, these shoes look adorable on (I got the green). What's not to love about them? I was concerned about all the comments about them being narrow but they were fine for me. I am a size 9 regular width but always get my athletic shoes in 9 1/2. I stuck with the 9 1/2 for these and they fit like a glove as they are supposed to fit.

Love these shoes! Bought a half size bigger and they fit perfectly. I have very narrow feet and they still feel nice and snug.

I am typing this review on behalf of my wife, whom I bought the shoes for. She had tons of trouble with just about every running shoe we have tried. Inevitably, she always endures calf and shin pain, foot pain, you name it...it sets in after a week or two in a new shoe. I saw these and ordered her a pair for grins. Within a week or so, she is running and exercising pain free! She loves these shoes more than anything...I'm no expert, but something is very right about the Pure series of shoes. These certainly will be the first pair of many.

Let me just say I love these shoes. After running and doing bootcamps for about a month in these I must say they are my favorite running shoes. They are super lightweight and took a couple weeks to get used to but now I don't know how I ran without them. My footstrike has changed to more of a midfoot strike (as opposed to a heel strike) I can definitely say I am running faster and just ordered my second pair. Do go up about half a size, however.

Great running shoe, forces a mid to forefoot running stride..no heelstriking! Don't wear with socks, and buy a 1/2 size up from regular shoes. No blisters at all. Best sneakers I have bought in awhile.

I truly love these shoes. They are very comfortable and great for running and cross training. It's a minimalist shoe, so coming from the Brooks Glycerin they took a couple days to get used to but I would definitely recommend them. Also, the color is great! I got the white and cockatoo.

Super light and responsive to the ground. I love the way they feel with the bubble soles. I run 5-7 miles 3-4 times a week and I love running in these shoes!

I have a narrow foot, but never buy shoes sized for narrow feet. I also have high arches, and this sneaker has offered my feet a perfect fit! I love them and am thinking of buying them in all 3 colors. I have the purple ones and get compliments all the time. I wore them for my first 5k and will continue to wear them at spin, TRX, and strength classes. I love them!

I definitely appreciated all the reviews from other customers. I needed an 8 1/2 and I normally wear an 8. I also do not wear socks with this shoe ever. In the past, I had always been advised to buy running shoes a half size larger because of foot swelling; however, feet swell out, they don't grow longer...so I had way too much toe room and an arch support that didn't fit my actual foot size. My old running shoes -- typical bulky shoe -- Asics or Saucony always felt hard and suffocated my feet. They felt like little straight jackets. After looking at numerous reviews for Pure Connect, I can say I am so happy. I have never been a "toe" runner...I am now running faster and lighter. Someone mentioned like a Deer, or "Tigger"...bouncy. It's true! My shins don't hurt. My sole doesn't hurt and my knees are in line -- what a huge difference. I did not have to break them in at all -- I just needed to get used to the way your foot is cradled. After that, it feels like a glove. Honestly.

Been trying to find a more minimal running shoe that encouraged less heel striking. I was going back and forth between these and the Saucony Kinvara that was on sale. I am usually a 9.5 but from trying these on in a store, I knew even the 10 felt quite tight. Ordered a 10.5 which fit just right. There is quite a high arch, and lots of forefoot cushion, which takes some getting used to. Very comfy, but ultimately I went for the Saucony's after trying both on a treadmill for several miles. The Kinvara's felt less severe, and did the job, and made me feel like going further. There are also some rough places inside these where the tongue is anchored that might rub if using barefoot.

I am extremely picky about shoes and this is only the second pair ever (and I mean ever!) that I like! I run daily, beach or road, so the right shoes are critical. These are very light, breathable and feel like walking on clouds. They do let more sand through than my other favorites, but that's normal since they have a mesh cover. Love them!

Love these shoes! I'm training for a half and have put about 115 miles on these shoes. These are unquestionably the best running shoes I have ever owned. I'm a 7.5 and I tried the 7, 7.5, and 8. The 8 fit best, like a glove. Thus, I think they run a half size small (as in, order a half size larger). Also, my husband and I both had a hard time with the shoes cutting into our heels/achilles. Apparently it's a widespread problem with these shoes and a total bummer. I'm hooked on these. They are light and comfortable and feel like slippers. I'm going to buy these again and again and my only complaint is that I'll have to deal with breaking in the heels. If Brooks can fix that problem, then these are the perfect shoe.

I don't think I've ever owner a more comfortable pair of athletic shoes! I am not a runner, but I love them for Zumba, which involves a lot of jumping.

I love these shoes. I have flat feet and a tendency to roll my ankles to the outside, and the support that these shoes offer helps to correct that. Before these shoes, I was running in Nike Free, and I think that these are a better match for my needs because of that extra support. Great for mid to front strike running.

I love these shoes! I've worn Brooks running shoes for a long time, and I bought these just for the gym and shorter runs. I thought these wouldn't have enough cushioning for longer runs, but they feel better than my Ghost shoes! Now my trusty old Brooks shoes are just sitting in the closet while I wear these all time. They have great arch support, and they are surprisingly cushiony for a minimal shoe. A couple of fair warnings: if you run with a heel strike, these are not the shoes for you. Also, they feel sort of tight when you put them on, but soon you just forget you're wearing shoes. I found my new favorite running shoes!

I lpve these shoes. They are beautiful and it feels like you are walking on a pillow. I speed walk 10 miles a day and it feels like I am being propelled. They are just great shoes for walking or running. Now the bad part, I bought these almost one size larger and the first time I got a blister on the back of the left heel. The second time, I got a blister on the right heel (it is so severe that I had to go to my doctor) I do not get it, I have been doing 10 miles a day for years, always wear the best shoes(although normally high end Saucony) these shoes are so comfortable and so pretty. I would probably send them back but the last blister bled all over the edge of the shoe. I just dropped them off at a shoe place, and they are going to attempt softening and stretching the back of each shoe. Maybe it is just me.

I will never use another running shoe again! Like everyone else describes, they give you a great amount of support, while being incredibly lightweight and breathable. I bought this shoe after having issues with getting blisters due to the heat, and I have not had one problem with this shoe. I would buy a 1/2 size larger than your normal fit.

I tried the Brooks PureConnect after reading some of the other reviews. I use the shoe for weight-lifting and combat classes at my gym, as well as some running. It is perfect for me since it has a terrific arch support and I have problems finding a shoe that has enough support for my high arches. I returned my first pair for a half-size larger and had a great experience with the Zappos customer service. It was easy and free to make the exchange, and they sent out my new size even before they received my return. I highly recommend Zappos and the Brooks PureConnect!
