So comfortable and cute! I am a 7.5 but needed the 8. I have only run in them once, but they didn't seem to hurt my feet.

The most comfortable running shoes I have ever had! Unlike many of the other reviewers, I am not a marathon runner. I can run up to three miles and normally have terrible shin splints, hip and back pain when running. These shoes are amazing! So very comfortable. It feels like there is a 'tempurpedic' type material in the shoes. I am not sure how long they will feel this great (hopefully they last a while) but for the first 10 times I have used them, they are worth EVERY penny! I normally wear a 9 or 9 1/2. I needed the 9 1/2 with these.

These shoes are great! I DO NOT run in them. I run in Asics Gel Kayano; I am not following the running trend. These brooks are nice to wear around when fashion calls for a sneaker. The backs are cut low which is important; I have a straight Achilles tendon.

This is my first pair of Brooks and I'm hooked. They are light, supportive, and breathable. I went up half a size (from 6 to 6½)according to user recommendations and the fit is perfect. My regular outdoor runs range from 5-9 miles; my feet stay happy the whole way. I agree that these are not ideal for regular weight training/gym use, though I wear them to the gym anyhow.

Extremely comfortable from the minute I put the shoe own. I have never felt such a light weight shoe before. Love the shoe, and love the service Zappos provides.

I love these shoes. I normally need an 11N, but these are not too wide. They have been perfectly comfortable since day one, and I get oodles of compliments on them. The cute pop of color is a nice addition to my neutral casual wardrobe. I would recommend these to anyone who wants comfortable, cute sneakers that are great for running and running errands. I am happy with them in every way.

Love these shoes! This is the first Brooks running shoe I have worn and I am extremely happy with them. I bought a 1/2 size up based on the reviews and it's perfect. Some reviews said they were really only for running, but I have found them to be great for my boot camp class as well. I also like wearing them casually, which I rarely do with running shoes, because they are so comfortable and light. High arch support - which I really like, but others may not need.

I just received my shoes yesterday and I absolutely love them! These are a dream coming from a bulky running shoe. They give all the support without the bulk. I am also really pleased with the arch support. I have a high arch and have trouble finding a shoe to accomodate.

Love, love, love these shoes! Went into store to purchase another set but, I swear, these shoes were specifically designed to fit my feet. I was in the market for a minimalist shoe and these stuck out due to their purple color. The arch support is fantastic. I have had years and years of issues due to my high arch and this shoe perfectly cradles it! They are super light and flexible. I hardly notice I am wearing shoes at all when I run. I was worried that I would find the pounding of the pavement bothersome, but these shoes have a surprising amount of shock absorption. I highly, highly recommend these shoes and will most definitely buy them again.

This is such a comfortable shoe. I usually use a narrow width but after reading the reviews I decided to try a medium. It is perfect. Most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I will probably order another pair before very long as I wear them to walk and to go to exercise class. Haven't had them long enough to know how well they last.

These are beautiful shoes and the soles were very comfortable. I was desperate for them to fit me, but had to return them. I have tall arches and the top of the shoe squeezed my foot way too tight. It was also very narrow which compounded the problem. It's too bad because they really are a beautiful shoe and I think they would have helped with my heel-striking issues.

I am not that impressed. At first glance, these shoes look amazing. The colors are great! But, I have had a few issues with these shoes. First they are very narrow. Second the arch is extremely high. I have high arches, so I usually welcome that but I think these were too high. Lastly, I wore these for a two mile run the other day and initially felt great, but then went in for my 12 hour shift with Danskos and I almost could not walk four hours in! The outer soles of my feet hurt so bad. So for those reasons I returned the shoes today. It was disappointing as these had potential.

I was so excited to get these shoes but after going thru 2 different sizes I have concluded that they are made very narrow. I have normal width feet and have never bought anything other than a normal width. My other Brooks running shoes are normal width as well. However, with these shoes both pairs felt like my feet were being bound and made it extrememly painful to run in. Very disappointed this time

These felt great when I first put them on. I am a 10W and I ordered an 11 in the Brooks due to the fact they don't offer a wide. I know they are a minimalist type shoe and it may have taken awhile to get used to, but these shoes absolutely killed my feet. They felt like all the cushion was in the arch and they were super springy and made the next step effortless with the added spring back from the extra cushiony material the tread is composed of which is good, but my bones in my feet started to really hurt and felt like they were all grinding together. I have trouble with arthritis in my feet anyways so I felt best to return these shoes for that reason cause I don't feel like the bones and muscles in my feet would ever acclimate to this style shoe. I usually buy the Asics Gel Kayano 18's and love those. Jogging in them is comfortable and my feet hurt minimally in those which is why I wear them. They are expensive and I hate that, but I hate sore feet worse. Don't get me wrong, the Brooks look great and feel good initially, but the different manner in which they perform takes a lot to get accustomed to and your body to acclimate with; depending on your foot structure and ailments these may or may not be the shoe for you. They weren't for me. I hope my review may help.

I bought these shoes after reading several reviews. For the past couple of years I had been wearing another minimalist shoe and I have a pretty high arc so I thought these would be good for my foot. It took quite a while to "break them in". The first time I ran in them my calfs were really tight, so I didnt' run in them for a while and just wore them for work. After about a month I tried running in them again and they felt much better. After completing a seaons in them, including several shorter races and a 1/2 marathon I love them. Super cute too! I have had several compliments on their looks.

I reeeeeeaally wanted this shoe to work out. The cushioning was exactly what I wanted, and it is a more minimalistic, natural feeling shoe. I also really like the color, but that is a secondary consideration for me. I tried it on in my regular size (8.5) and it was much too small, and too narrow. Also, I would say that the arch support is excessive. I sent back the 8.5 and tried it in a size 9 to see if that made any difference. By the way, I have never worn a size 9 in ANY shoe, EVER. Every running shoe I have ever worn was a 8.5. The 9 felt much better as far as length and width, but the deal breaker was the arch. It still felt extreme to me and I just couldn't take a chance that it would cause problems as I am training for my first full marathon. So, I have sent them back.

I wasn't sure about these shoes at first. The arch support is very "high" which is usually good for me. I did change out the insole after a couple runs and found it more comfortable. I do think if you have a wide foot it may be a bit snug.

I really like these running shoes. I was looking for a shoe with a lower heel. I'm a mid-foot striker and these really complement my running style. I have a narrow foot and the width felt good. The only bad thing about them is that I've been getting a few blisters in the same spots on my longer runs (I haven't had blisters in a long time).

I bought these shoes because I have a pair of Brooks Pure Cadence for running. These shoes are a little lighter weight and they are great for aerobic workouts, but I leave the running shoes to the Pure Cadence. The Pure line is great, it delivers the quality without all of the added weight. This line does run a little narrow, so keep that in mind.

The shoes are great for trail running. I usually wear Brooks PureFlow, which I love but felt like I needed more support because my feet were starting to hurt. Despite the reviews, I found that these shoes actually offered less support than PureFlow. Perhaps my feet just need to adjust. Zappos customer service was incredible per usual. I originally ordered a size too small and needed to exchange. I hit "return" instead of "exchange" and had to call Zappos to work it out. It was no problem at all, I wasn't charged, and I received my new shoes within days. Thanks again Zappos!

I love these for working out, but definitely had to go up a half size, and honesty may've been able to go up a full size, which is odd because I'm generally a "perfect" size seven. Of course, thanks to Zappos this was painless, but do consider going up a half size, or trying them on locally if you're bad about returns.

Loved the feel. I have high arches and a narrow foot. They are the best arch support shoes I have had. They have rubbed my heels if I walk around in them too much after a race and I have to get the lacing just right not to get a pressure spot on the top of my foot. Once I figured this all out, they were fantastic. I swap them between them around with my Saucony Kinvara's. Both great shoes.

Really like the look of these shoes! I agree with other reviewers, while super light, I would't really call these minimalist due to the heavy duty arch support. Took me some getting used to after wearing true minimalist shoes. Rubbed on the back of my heel as well, but only for a week or so. Now that they are broken in, I'm quite happy.

This was my first Brooks. The tongue of this shoe is fastened with tabs to hold it in place... with these tabs, I could not jam my foot into it. Oh no! So I took a chance and snipped the tabs, so I could get it on. Wonderful! The shoe seems to run a bit narrower than most other athletic shoes; but for someone who used to wear an A or AA width back in the days when all shoes came in numerous widths, this was a godsend. So very comfortable on me I went back and ordered two more pairs in different colors!
