I am a beginner runner and this shoe is perfect! Very lightweight. It runs a bit narrow (which I need) and I would recommend ordering a half size larger than you normally wear. Zappos customer service is fantastic!

This is by far the most comfortable, supportive, and cushioned running shoe I have ever worn, and yet is very light weight. Also love the style of it.

I love these shoes. I have always loved Brooks because they fit my narrow heel. These shoes are by far the most comfortable and they really support a more natural running style, landing on the mid foot rather than the heel.

Bought this shoe for my 12 year old daughter to run in. She loves it. Fits well and is light. I like the bright color for safety reasons. No complaints.

This is the best pair of running shoes I have ever owned. I have very high arches and never seem to find shoes that support my feet - until these! I always seem to gravitate to lightweight shoes, but they never have the support I need and can't handle distance running for me. These are a great in between minimalist/full support shoe! After wearing these I was able to run so much further because my feet weren't killing me. I have had no problems with them rubbing (and I blister very easily); however, I have very narrow feet, so the fit was great on me. Plus, I love the lime! Great purchase if you have high arches and are looking for a lightweight shoe.

These are far and away the best running shoes I have ever purchased. Based on the other reviews, I went up a half size and they fit perfectly. Tons of arch support and quite a bit of cushioning for being so light. I actually bought a second pair in another color after running about 30 miles in my first pair.

These shoes Rock! I have narrow feet and the width is perfect. Also the arch hits in the perfect spot. The minimal heel is improving my stride. Also noticed with the stride changes, the hip pain I've been battling is decreasing. Not sure how the mesh shoe will feel once winter hits. Thanks Brooks!

I saw these shoes in a little shoe store in Portland and thought they looked great. When I tried these on I felt they were made for my feet. I am not a runner, but I wanted a comfortable shoe for in the gym. Do walk fast on the tread mill. Also have gotten a lot of compliments on them.

Love this shoe! I decided to try it after I kept getting hip pain from my Jazzercise class. I had tried every other sneaker style so I figured I'd give the minimalist a shot - what a huge difference! I can move, flex and bend my feet the way they are supposed to and class is now easier because of it. So comfortable, lightweight, cute. And no more hip pain! Love.

Very light and just enough support. Right out of the box these were comfy (although a tiny bit snug across the instep with cotton socks). I wear these for running on pavement and on dirt trails. I do find that they just don't protect my feet from gravel enough. Ordered half a size up since my feet need the extra space when running.

Great shoes, the second pair I've owned. I love the arch support. Brooks is a great running shoe.

Couldn't love this shoe any more. I just began marathon training and this shoe has proven comfortable and good for both road and trails. They are extremely lightweight so they certainly give you that excellent fast feeling. Not to mention they look awesome. Everywhere I go, I get compliments and someone even stopped me to write down what shoe it was so she could get them for herself.

Beautiful shoe. Really wanted to keep it but the top pressed down on my foot and left a little red mark. I think it is from the laces. Also on one foot the arch seemed too high and pressed a little into my foot. Too bad. Am trying out another Pure. Hopefully it fits better.

These are the best minimalist running shoes. I wasn't sure if I was ready to run such a shoe, but it is so nice and smooth with just enough cushion. They breathe well and are so light-weight. Have had two pairs now and will continue to run in them. I run 6-8 miles a day 5 days a week.

I am very pleased with these shoes. I have tried many running shoes that provide stability and find that they only make my heel pain worse by causing me to land on my heel when I run. These shoes help me to land more on my mid-foot. They are very light and comfortable. I have narrow feet and the fact that they run narrow is perfect for me! So far so good!

These are very cute shoes. I even got a comment/compliment from a guy! The color is beautiful and they are comfortable. They are definitely on the snug side but not so much that you must go up a size. I use thin socks, so my regular size for tennis shoes being 7½ worked fine.

I think this shoe is so cute, makes my foot look small and dainty. I'm a 7.5-8. I bought it in an 8...thank goodness...because this 8 fits like a glove. I'm sure the 7.5 would have been too small. This 8 is squeezing my foot but I am keeping the shoes because I know they will stretch and I've never purchased an 8.5 ever. They are like standing on a cloud, a very unusual experience, so nice! I do wish they were not quite so close fitting but I can't wait to get out there and walk. I will be wearing them without socks, for walking.

I love these shoes. I wore them for my second Ironman and I had only run 6 miles in them before the race. I had no blisters or chafing even while running in a tropical rain storm in Cozumel. I am not a fast runner and my feet swell on the bike, these shoes didn't bother me and I was happy with the no blisters or chafing because I usually get that while training in heat or rain. I highly recommend them.

I got a blister on my left heal. That foot is smaller than the right. I had to cut the back of the shoe down. Hated to do that, but once you wear them you can return like other stores. I usually wear a 9 and that's the size I kept.

Super comfy, excellent arch support! They are a bit greener in person than in the picture. I ran on the treadmill with these without problems, I normally have hip and knee pain. I love the Brooks pure collection and have numerous Brooks sneakers!

I am very happy with this shoe! I was looking for a comfortable, minimalist feel with a little cushion for long runs (I run in Vibram 5 finger shoes otherwise). I found it! These allow me to run with a natural foot-strike on the ball of the foot, close to mid-foot while giving just enough cushion and support for long runs.

I used to wear Brooks Ghost, but then they changed the Ghost design. I opted to try these. PureConnect is now my absolute favorite running shoe. They're really light weight and have this wonderful cushioning on the inside. They do run slightly on the narrow side (I have narrow feet), but with a thin pair of socks they fit perfect. The bright color is also really motivating when working out (and no one would have trouble finding me in the dark). I would suggest to Brooks they offer the ladies some more "normal" colors to choose from though. If possible, I'd also recommend you go up 1/2 a size. I'm a 10 and needed a 10.5.

Great fit. Wonderful support - I have almost zero arches and I am able to run naturally in these with comfort. I am an 8.5 and the 8.5 fit like a glove.
