These shoes are great! They take some getting used to, but once you are used to them they have tremendous support! They always feel funny when I put them on. Once you have them on for a few minutes, that does go away. I struggle with plantar fasciitis. With these shoes, the pain has completely disappeared!

I have been on New Balance for years...because of the widths they provide. But I having a AAA instep with a AAAA heel took a chance on these since the reviewers said they were not over built, had good arch support and ran Narrow. Wow...I love the light shoe with an arch support that makes total contact with my foot. The price is great too! Living in the tropics I ordered a white and cayenne pair of a similar Brooks shoe also for a different look. I wish for more colors in this model though. Brooks, you are the best! And what a pleasant surprise on a gamble. These make my 9 1/2 feet looks small and it is the first shoe I have not taken off after the hard work as a rehab therapist in years. They may be too narrow for some...but my banana shaped foot loves these shoes!

I normally run trails in Merrell Pace Gloves, but found those a little too uncomfortable when I switched over to running on pavement. I was looking for something similar to the Pace Gloves but with a little more cushion, and these are it! They are still light and quick, but I wouldn't exactly call them minimalist. There is significantly more support in the heel, and a really comfortable arch. Another great feature is that the tongue is super thin so that it doesn't roll or flip over and pinch your foot, as often happens with the Pace Gloves. These have great traction on the road, even in the rain, but I haven't tested them on the trail yet. Definitely buy a 1/2 size up! I'm wearing these without socks in a 1/2 size larger than my Merrells and they still feel snug.

I was looking for low to zero drop, road running shoes with a bit of padding for my narrow, high-arched feet and this shoe fit the bill exactly. Definitely try a half size up, as this shoe runs shorter than average as well as narrower than average. I was so excited to find this shoe and so sad that the newer model is so different. If you have narrow feet, try this shoe while you still can!

Like all shoes in the Brooks Pure line (I have run in the Cadence and Flows), these do not disappoint. They feel great on my feet and allow me to "feel" the road more than my other Brooks shoes. I prefer them for shorter runs, however, because I need the support of my Cadence shoes for longer runs.

I have really high arches. This is the first shoe that actually contours my foot. I bought multiples. Only request: brooks comes out with more color options. Like all tennis shoes, get a half size larger.

Love these! I have tried and returned so many sneakers and finally, I found the perfect sneaker for me that has some arch and is so comfortable and makes my knees feel good. If you have knee problems and need an arch, get these.

Got 'em, tried 'em, love 'em! These Brooks feel really good with no break-in period needed. The Happy color calls me to run which is no small challenge! Zappos delivery was exceptional as always. :)

These are so light and comfortable ... fit like a glove. The springy cushions on the midsole and ball of the foot feel odd at first, but I really like the feel of them. I was looking for a shoe that would help prevent heel striking (plantar fasciitis and it's very painful) and these really seem to help me. They also make your feet look smaller and I like the styling. They do run small .. I am usually a 10-11, and had to take an 11.5 in these. I bought a second pair.

This shoe has become my favorite workout shoe! I do dance aerobics and the support is fantastic. It is also a well vented shoe if your feet sweat a lot.

I love these shoes. They feel very springy. Good support yet lightweight. The shoelaces have never come untied while running. I had to go with a half size larger than my usual size.

I love Brooks. They last and they make large feet look smaller. They are great for foot flaws such as over pronation. They wear well and are comfortable. I have never worn out a pair and I generally wear mine for working out every week! I am glad that they have begun to step up their styling.

Look super cool, very comfy, but I found they fit small. Too small for my feet so I sold them to a girlfriend rather than return them and she is thrilled! Hasn't taken them off since she got them.

I am not a runner but I do a cardio class 5 or 6 times a week, these are the most comfortable shoe I have worn ans still give support.

These are my second pr. of these shoes. I love them with or w/out socks. This time a bought a 1/2 size bigger so that I can wear a thin sock. But I can wear a thin sock with the smaller size;makes the shoe a little snug, but not painful. I have a wide forefoot and a very narrow heel. The shoes fit my feet like a glove. I have a low arch; these shoes have a good arch support.

These shoes have been wonderful for both running and hiking. They are exceptionally comfortable and seem made for my feet, with a narrow heel cup. The soles seem to be wearing very quickly and the colors are garish, but the overall comfort and quality will bring me to repurchase once this pair wears out.

I feel like this shoe is made for me. :-) I am a triathlete and distance runner who loves to run without socks, glove like fit, and has great arch support for my high arch. This is a very minimal shoe, and as close to barefoot as I care to go-it is a shoe that you can't step into for the first few times and run for distance. There was a need to adjust to these for me, as my calves were sore.

First time wearing a minimalist shoe and I love them! I took a chance because I like Brooks. Great bounce in my run! Nice arch support.

Best running shoe I've ever had: lightweight, snug, 'pods' on the bottom help stride. Seemed to run a bit small: returned and received next half size the very next day with no additional charges.

THESE SHOES ARE AMAZING. I typically wear Brooks Adrenalin 12s when working out, and those are my perfect sneakers. I have high arches that collapse when I'm on my feet a lot, and I overpronate really badly. My job requires me to be on my feet for the majority of my shift and I wear business casual attire. Adrenalins are structurally good, but absolutely hideous with anything other than workout gear. I've been searching for shoes that will minimize the pain I have at the end of the day without making me look like a complete idiot. These are perfect. Typically, I wear Clarks with New Balance inserts or Orthaheels. Those are better than ballet flats but not by much. I know these are supposed to be kind of "minimalist" but they have pretty good support. I still pronate a bit but after an 8 hour shift with 5 hours of walking, my feet feel fine! And hot dang, that purple looked awesome with my outfit. I haven't taken these shoes for a run and I probably won't. But for walking shoes at work, these are freaking awesome. I have spent way more for mediocre shoes. I bought these on sale but even at full price the Brooks PureConnects are a good deal.

I have a very difficult time finding shoes that feel right I have a very narrow foot. This is my second pair of Brooks, it took a day to get use to them they are spongy. I really love them! I like the dark color I wear them with my workout clothes and they look great with jeans. I will be ordering a lighter color for the spring.

These are the best shoes ever. They are as close as you can get to the natural barefoot style running with with the arch support you need. The heel is nearly the same drop as the footbed, which is anatomically more natural and much easier on your joints. I love these babies! Additionally they are so much cuter than regular clunky runners.

I absolutely love these shoes. Out of the four pairs that I ordered and considered, these were by far the most comfortable. My knee problem has not acted up at all since wearing these. I highly recommend these shoes.
