I've been looking for comfortable shoes since I work in retail and all the standing is hard on my feet. These are very comfortable flats. They are very soft and don't need to be broken in which is great! I would recommended this shoe for anyone that wants comfort and a simple style.

I virtually live in these shoes, and literally receive compliments from strangers every time I wear them. Soft, comfortable, elegant - I love them! Have worn them for 6 months almost every day (not constantly, I wear slippers at home) and they are starting to lose a little shape and look slightly scuffed in the toe but it is very minor. Dress up or down, they are the most versatile shoe I have ever owned!

So incredibly comfortable. I read a lot of the other reviews, and saw that some folks had trouble with the zipper. I didn't have that problem at all. I got my normal size and they are perfect. I guess it depends on the foot but, I have a lot of trouble finding truly comfortable shoes, and these were it! Plus, they are so stylish, I get tons of compliments and I really appreciate the tiny details, that make it worth the money.

I bought these flats to take on vacation. They are beautifully made, and very comfortable. After hours and hours of walking, I did end up with a small blister on one heel though... I love that they can be dressed up or down. Highly recommend!

Love these shoes! I just received them today and was hoping they would fit. I sometimes wear a 7.5 or 8. I ordered these in an 8 and they are perfect. They are comfy and have great support for my slightly low arch. I can hardly wait to wear them with leggings and dresses this Fall. I will order them in gray when they are available in my size from Zappos. They certainly are high quality and stylish.

I absolutely love this Gentle Souls shoe! It is extremely comfortable and very cute! My husband loved it so much that he suggested I purchase the gray color, also! Husbands have such great taste! Gentle Souls is a great find! I now have five of their shoes, from the great Zappos, of course! Their customer service is incredible...thanks, Zappos!

Very cute, comfy shoe. I anticipated some breaking in time, but I have no problems with rubbing or blisters. Many people commented on the shoe. The shoe felt true to size. Super happy with this purchase. I do think it is a pricey shoe, but I am not unhappy about the purchase.

I never write about the shoes that I buy and I have amassed a collection. I bought these for traveling on long flights and the ease with which they can be stored in my bag. I so underestimated them however. They could not be more comfortable. The inner sole is perfectly cushy and supportive. I got the dark brown which has a very vintage look to the leather. I will wear these with Capris, and ankle length pants and I will be styling. They are just funky enough.

I absolutely love these shoes! Fits true to size and I would get every color.

I could never find comfortable flats because of my bunions. This is the first pair of ballet flats I could comfortably walk in. They look great even with jeans (rolled up leg). I wear them day in day out. The black suede is beautiful.

By far, the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned, including sneakers. The soft leather lining is amazing! I never get sore feet or blisters, even after wearing them at work for 10+ hours. Even better than walking barefoot at home!!

Bought these for my daughter. They are super comfortable with squishy soles and decent arch support. They also look quite elegant and a little different to the regular ballet flat. Daughter loves them because they stay on her feet and don't flap about like regular ballet flats.

I love these shoes. They are cute, versatile, and comfy. I got caught in the rain the other day - a real bummer when you're wearing suede shoes. After they dried, they still look great! I wore them right out of the box - no break-in period needed. In the past, I found Kenneth Cole shoes to run small and narrow for my feet. Not the case with these Gentle Souls (by Kenneth Cole). I think they are a bit pricey for what they are, but I love them none-the-less. In fact, I hope they never wear out!

I liked this style very much and the brown color. The 7 1/2 was too small and the 8 was too long. This problem is very common for me. I decided to keep the 8 to wear for my daughter's wedding.

Spectacular shoe and look for the wedding I am attending! I love them and so does my daughter, the bride. I saw some reviews about the unusual brown color, but I liked it.

I would buy these in every color under the sun if they weren't so darn expensive. Went for the classic black - the detailing in the braiding is exquisite. Quality craftsmanship and materials. After a handful of foot surgeries, I can't wear shoes that don't have straps for extra support - these are the perfect mix of fashion and function. Totally versatile for work and city exploring.

These are so beautiful and so comfortable. They look like ballet shoes, but have a rear zip entry, which makes an easy in/out. I love the color, it goes with everything. These hurt nowhere: the elastic straps are perfectly placed. Pricey but so worth it.

These shoes were completely comfortable from day one and they are adorable. They are great with jeans and with skirts, and I get compliments every time I wear them.

Very comfortable and work for my narrowish/shallow feet. Love the style and the soft leather! Addressing another reviewer's issue, the zipper doesn't hurt my heel, fortunately. I can't feel the zipper at all, and I'm blister prone, so maybe this depends on your foot and ankle shape. The elastic is a tad loose on my skinny ankles, but it works fine and the shoes stay on comfortably (most ballet flats don't stay on my feet).

I am spoiled forever. I only want Gentle Souls shoes. I have bought two pairs of this style...and want many more. I am addicted. They are the cutest shoe I have ever worn. I adore them. I have received many compliments and wear them often...so far with skirts...but this summer I will wear them every day, with crop pants.

Walked all day in the city with these and was impressed with the comfort. Imprint on the floral leather is so pretty, will wear these as often as possible! Because of the shape of my feet, I will have to have these stretched by my big toe a little bit, but otherwise, I would say this is true to size

These shoes are really adorable and well made. They have soft leather inside and out. I bought them in the gray suede and they are adorable. But the first time that I wore them, I wore them to a place that required a lot of walking. And I had the worst blisters of my entire life! I could not wear shoes with backs for over a week after one day of wearing these. However, once my feet healed, I wore them again and again, and gradually broke them in. Now they feel great. The leather bottom is a bit stiff, but you get used to that and that loosens up a bit too. I appreciate the padded footbed, however I did not think the arch support was all that much. But then again, I have high arches and it takes a lot to give my foot support. The zipper really wasn't an issue for me. The place I got blisters on my heel wasn't as a result of the zipper as other reviewers have said. I highly recommend these shoes if you have patience when breaking them in.

I bought these shoes for a recent trip, and they are now my favorite and most comfortable pair of shoes. The zipper in the back at first did rub on my heel (even with its fabric flap), but after just a few days of wearing blister guards, they were broken in and beyond comfortable - absolutely worth it. My feet are a small 7.5, and the size 7 fit perfectly.

These shoes are the most amazing ones I have ever owned. Really well made, super comfortable and perfectly stylish. Great with skirts or ankle length skinny jeans. I have the black leather, but will 'need' the grey suede ones soon. :)
