I purchased these for a recent trip over seas. I was concerned about the straps around the ankles after being on my feet all day, but there were no indications. I have received lots of compliments. I wore them to go site seeing and absolutely loved them! I would highly suggest them.

Since I am the guy who has five pairs of Gabbys I clearly love these flats. They are not quite as comfortable as the Gabby but they are really much cuter. Every time I wear them someone asks me where I got them. I am 72 and refuse to wear normal comfort shoes. I love these as they are in style today, tomorrow and for years. They are kind of ballet slipper like a very classy look with the totally unbeatable comfort of Gentle Souls. I bought three pairs in case they discontinue them. I expect to wear these for the rest of my life. It is really a terrific look.

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable, I feel like I am wearing slippers. They add a little flair to every outfit I wear, whether they are leggings, shorts or dresses.

This is a super cute shoe. The contrast in color between the strap and shoe is much less on the actual shoe than shown in the photo, and I'm a little disappointed, but I still like the shoe and I'm keeping it.

These are beautifully made shoes that can't be appreciated by picture. They are soft and comfortable with a well padded insole of soft leather. Can wear with skirts, jeans, just about everything. A great go-to flat.

Beautiful, well made shoe, lovely on and so comfortable. My orthotics can't hide in this one... runs a bit large all over. Usually wear a 40 but would need a 39 in this maker.

These shoes are super comfy and look great, and they run true to size (I have wide feet, so they could be a bit troublesome for those with a more narrow foot). My right shoe is making a strange clicking sound when I walk, but hopefully as I break them in that'll stop. Worth the price!

Great shoes! Very comfortable and fit true to size. I was a bit disappointed as I thought the straps were grey but in the pair I received the straps are black...and that's OK too. I wondered if it was just the photo and the light that make the straps look grey. I have a wider foot and high arches and this shoe gives good support. I ordered them for style but its a good shoe for support as well. Lots of compliments. And, as always Zappos is the best!

I've been looking everywhere for stylish, comfortable, ballet flats with straps and these almost fit the bill. They look a little fuddy duddy on (though the ballet styling is cute), and they work for work, they are also comfortable though not the best I've ever had in terms of padding. They are very soft, quality leather, however. These fit ever so slightly loose on my normal feet, so would likely do well on people with larger toe boxes etc. The flap at the back means I never had any trouble with the zipper rubbing (the zipper is, as noted in other reviews, a little stiff). I had no rubbing issues at all, and on their first outing I wore these all over NYC so they were perfect in that sense. It's true that there isn't quite as much cushion on the bottom as I would have liked (I've added a gel insert and they are perfect) but the padding level is fine for everyday walking, and these did not rub my delicate feet at all.

Really wanted to like these. Super cute and comfortable, but felt the soles were too thin and flat.

The zipper is definitely tacky; doesn't zip to the top/end. I tried to force it up, wouldn't happen. Of course I love them, but for the price. For a narrow foot and skinny ankle, straps are loose. Dilemma.

So these shoes are okaaaaaay. They are cute for sure, and the length is fine, but the toe box is oddly shaped and not comfortable, managing to feel boxy and tight at the same time. I also noticed that the front “lip” of the sole catches on things. I bought them early for a trip to Europe so I could break them in a bit, and I’m hopeful that the leather with stretch before my trip. My goal with them was a dressier alternative to my Merrells and I remain unconvinced but hopeful.

I really wanted to love these shoes. They are adorable and I thought they'd be perfect for my problem feet. I finally just made the decision and ordered the pair. Well, they didn't work at all for me. They were uncomfortable across the toe, there wasn't much support, and the stitching was irregular. Now, if I paid $30 for them, I would not be complaining about stiff elastic and wrinkled stitching, but for this price, I expect more. I will not try this brand again. I do have wide feet with very high arches, but the quality issues have nothing to with the shape of my feet.

I wanted to love these shoes. There are so many things to love about them: the color, shape, foot bed comfort, ankle support. But the back zipper is like a medieval torture device that rubs up against the skin back of the heel. I was in horrible pain after one wearing. Easily fixed with a piece of soft suede that would simply "flap" over the zipper on the inside. Had to send them back.

More on these: ordered a second pair/same size, and didn't have the problems mentioned above with heel gap, strap gap, exactly true to size for me, but huge diff between the 2 pairs. Even with the scary messed up zipper, probably would even keep the pair that fits, but - don't like the color. :( If that zipper lasts any time at all, I'd be amazed...

I love these shoes and wish they came in a zillion colors. I have all sorts of foot issues - and these are a gift from heaven for me!

I HATE ZAPPOS. I love these shoes have a pair wearing out. Zappos sent the wrong shoe and when I saw that I tried to order and my size was sold out. BUYER BEWARE. Zappos can be unreliable, and this time I am crestfallen.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are so comfortable right out of the box. I had to go down a half size, as my regular size was too large. They are stylish and look cute with pants *and* skirts/dresses. Very versatile and will be great for travel. As for the zippers, yes they can be a little stiff, but I have no problem getting my feet into the shoes without even using the zipper. The sole has a nice, sturdy tread, and the leather is incredibly soft. Highly recommend.

These shoes are super soft and very comfy. No break-in time needed. Leather lining absorbs sweat and keeps them from being stinky. Haven’t walked a full day in them yet, but I expect to be satisfied after a day of sightseeing or theme park walking.

I love this shoe. All of the gentle souls shoes have great arch support and comfy elastic to hold the shoe in place. I love the style. Sadly I have bunions and it just was not the right fit.

These are absolutely THE BEST SHOES I HAVE EVER WORN. I have very flat pronated feet, get blisters from sandals. I have worn my first pair for almost 4 years, haave bought 3 other pairs since then...don't want to ever be without them. I walk around in NYC with them...better than my running shoes. Stylish, comfortable, the best ever.

These shoes are just very stylish in a very unique way. They don't look like any other shoe. They are comfortable and wear very well over time with minimal care. The price is high, but their unique look is worth what is without question a big splurge.

I have two pairs of these gentle souls. Leather and the suede. I cannot rave enough about the immense comfort they give my feet. Its like walking on a cloud. I have another pair that is similar and they rubbed and left a blister but these 'Gentle Souls slip on and I feel like I'm walking on a cloud, in either pair of these shoes. I do not feel the zipper with or without socks. The puffy support for the sole is exquisite and I just love these wonderful shoes! Casual or dressy, any time. True to size, stylish and super cute. I get compliments every time I go out in them. You get what you pay for with this shoe. Don't buy a look alike for less money in this case or you will miss out. <3 thank you Zappos as usual for a 5 star shopping experience.
