I was looking for a soft shoe because I have bunions, esp. on the right foot. These shoes were too stiff for comfort, and the toe box was too shallow -- not usually a problem. I wear a size 6, M. I'm sending them back.

I couldn’t even open the zipper to remove packing. They are very flat. No support. Toe so is an odd shape.

Be aware this shoe zips up the back which would be fine except for the fact that the zipper so so stiff and tight no way could I zip up the shoe once it was on my foot...in fact I had difficulty closing the zipper while holding the shoe in my hands. Sending back today!

I had such high hopes for these shoes based on other reviews. I've been a chronic cheap flat buyer for a long time, so I decided to drop a lot of money on these shoes because I've been having foot issues. These felt great at first so I kept them. The more I wear them the worse they get. They cause my feet to ache so much...it's a relief to take them off. I'm so disappointed that I can't return them because of how incredibly expensive they were. On a side note Zappos is amazing, I'm just strictly disappointed with Gentle Souls.

I really wanted this shoe! I ignored the comments about the zipper, hoping that the pair I ordered would have zippers that worked, But I couldn't even get the zipper down to try the shoes on. I was very sad, because they are great looking shoes, but for the price the zipper needs to work flawlessly. So, I bought the Gentle Souls Gretchen and have been very pleased.

These shoes are grossly overpriced for the quality.

This shoe is sitting in my closet.I am so disappointed because I love Gentle Souls and since the black was out of stock, I ended up buying the metallic and I hate the way they look. I just tried using shoe polish to try and tone them down. I'll have to wait to see how they look. The zipper is also very uncomfortable and looks weird because it's too high on the ankle.
