So comfortable. I bought these in black leather, but they hurt my feet. These are very soft and don't hurt.

This shoe is so stylish and would be perfect for me but for one thing: I had previous surgery on my Achilles tendon, and the zipper runs directly over the scar...a real torture device! For anyone with normal feet, the shoe would be wonderful. I love this brand and own several other shoe styles.

Was pleased with the quality. The right shoe did rub a bit on my outside ankle and I have been told my ankles are small. Not sure how they would fit on larger ankles. They were comfortable other than that one spot which I am sure will be better once I have worn them a couple of times.

These are extremely cute shoes, and seem sturdily made. I'm returning for two reasons: 1. They are very flat. I'm looking for a pair of shoes that I can walk a few miles or more in, on city pavement, and as soon as I saw these I realized that even with the comfy arch-support cushion, these shoes aren't appropriate for city walking on a daily basis. Other than in the arch section, the layer of material between foot and ground in these shoes is maybe a quarter of an inch. That said, if you were wearing these to work with somewhat formal clothes and a carpeted floor, these would look very cute and probably feel like slippers. 2. They are a bit small. I usually fit into a 7.5 W. I ordered these in a 7.5 because the toe-box looked wide to me, but overall the whole shoe was rather tight. The leather is soft and seems like it would stretch, but if I were to order again in this brand I'd go for the 8.

I had high hopes for this shoe, as a close friend swears by them, and it's unobtrusive enough to wear constantly, but the straps provide a little detail for extra style. However, it's not a good match for my problem-plagued feet (arthitis and bunions). Vamp cut across said bunion, and the footbed, while cushy, provides no real support. But super cute in person as well as online! Might be the perfect wardrobe staple for those without my foot problems. Thanks, Zappos, for your wonderful inventory and customer-focused service!

I really wanted to love this shoe! It's clearly gorgeously crafted and with no heel, which I love. However, the toe is a bit boxy in appearance (I was looking for a rounder toe) and the ankle straps were too loose (and I do not have thin ankles). In addition, they had little arch support.

I bought these on sale at the Kenneth Cole store while on vacation in NYC last fall so I've owned them for a year now and they've pretty much been my go-to shoe outside of winter! I have slightly wide feet and these shoes are great because of the rounded/squarish toe area and overall fit. They make for a very cute, stylish option if you have wider feet. The lightly cushioned footbed is a plus. As for drawbacks: After a long day of walking around, the shoes don't have much give and start to feel tight. The straps have also become looser, which is understandable because I've had them for a year and often put them on without doing the zipper (bad, I know). These shoes are worth it for me since I got them at a good discount (that store's location was closing) but otherwise they are pricey. May be worth it for you if you have trouble finding a cute, comfortable option but have wide feet.

I agree wholeheartedly with Kayla's review. These shoes are cute and comfortable (albeit VERY flat), good quality - and, if they cost half as much, there's a chance I'd keep them. But for this price, they'd have to be something really special - and they're just not. And then there'sthen there's that ubiquitous back zipper - it doesn't exactly hurt, but it certainly makes its presence known.

Very expensive. 2 years ago, I had purchased these shoes along with 3 other flats to find the perfect one for regular wear, and these were the clear winner, despite the cost of $+200. 2 years later they really started to wear out. leather chipped in front, bottom pieces started coming off, footbed lost all support and was no longer comfortable. In the trash they went, not even good for goodwill. I needed another pair. Dreaded the cost, but for the comfort and style that i missed so much in an everyday shoe, it had to be done. Please, manufacturers... would you make this shoe like $170? I'll buy more. I promise.

The toe box was ample, the straps were not to tight (high arches and instep) the zipper did not bother my heel. I am returning them because the area around my heel was to big and gapped a lot. I found the length to be spot on!

These are almost fabulous shoes - I cannot wear flats normally because my feet are too narrow but the elastic ankle straps do the trick. However, the straps also make them more casual so I cannot wear them for all work outfits (that is what I needed). They do look cool though, kind of like adult ballet shoes!

I was looking for a shoe that would substitute a ballet flat...one that would be comfortable for walking, would stay on my foot, and would add that sweet feminine punctuation to my wardrobe. This Gentle Souls shoe came close, but the quality of the leather just doesn't make the cut. The top of the shoe ripples every time I take a step. For the cost, the leather should be softer, thicker. Instead, it looks like a cheap imitation. Sigh. Otherwise, it is very easy to slip on and off and it does stay on my foot when I walk.

I love the way these shoes look and they are very comfortable for the bottom of my feet. However, the elastic straps are very tight and that is why I gave them 4 stars rather than five. Perhaps in time the straps will stretch out, but now, I find myself removing the shoes frequently when I can.

These shoes are extremely comfy - much more padding than most flats. They feel wonderful, and the leather is very soft. They are very cute looking, too, and the zipper was no problem. They are going back, though. Online the color "antique pewter" looked like a silvery shade to me, but it is actually more like bronze. They were darker and browner than expected. The color is not so bad, but not useful for my wardrobe.

Pricey but cute and comortable. I got black leather. The black finish, on edge of sole and heels isn't holding up as well as I would have hoped.

I don't think they are that cute , especially in a larger size. I got a 9 but I could have taken an 8 1/2 as they are quite wide. That being said, they are absolutely the most comfortable shoes I have ever had on my feet. Ever. The reviewers that complained about the zipper? I don't get it. I don't feel it at all. They are more comfortable than athletic shoes. They look cutest with skinny jeans. Tried them under a long dress and they looked weird. If you are going to do lots of walking, these are the shoes to wear!

Too small in the toe area

I ordered these to replace a pair I've had for 4 or 5 years. I LOVED them. The pictures were the same as my previous pair. The 'new' ones I receeved were not the same. The leather was textured, not smooth and the soles were solid black rubber. YUK! I am returning them.

These shoes are of superlative quality. The elastic straps are stretchy so really you can get them off and on without the zipper. The foot bed is very comfortable. The style is cute although I would prefer a pointier toe. Caveats for anyone: the pair I bought had one shoe that had an uncomfortable zipper so I had to leave the zipper down about half way. Also, the top edge rubbed. I ordered a half size up; they practically fell off. In addition, I have foot issues. So my feet, when they swelled, expanded in the open area. I think a softer leather would have remedied this. Too bad, because they are cute.

Definitely cute shoes, wore these throughout Scotland and London. the soles of the shoes are not completely flat, they have a pattern that is raised. Unfortunately because of that I fell many times due to the unevenness of the soles.

I have to agree with other reviewers who said these were overpriced. These look adorable and I've gotten lots of compliments on them, but there's no arch support to speak of. I started to wear mine with arch inserts after I began getting shooting pains up my legs. (And no, I'm not a senior citizen!) The other problem is the insert. I wore these without socks which was a big mistake. The inserts make your feet sweat a lot, and then the leather turns black, and then it smells pretty bad. Any sock you wear after that turns black too. I wrote to the company for replacement inserts but they don't sell them. So, great shoes, but probably worth around $75, not this price.

Super cute shoes, but a weird fit. I have feet that will fit in the size 9 of almost any brand. This shoe was so wide on my foot that the sides were gapping, and the little cushioned pillows were showing. They are so flat that the heel drop felt like it was lower than my toe. I have skinny ankles, and the elastic didn't fit me well; the ankle straps were way too big. I'm sad I had to send these back. All the glowing reviews had me excited, but these shoes were not for me.

I've been wanting to try this shoe for a while. It just wasn't me. It was too low in the toe area and pressed on my big toenail. I didn't like the zipper up the back or the ankle strap. There was no support in the sole. My other Gentle Souls have nice support in the soles, but they also are heels.

When arrived color different than view on line, much lighter. Fit was accurate. Did not keep due to color. Looked very inexpensive and not like suede.
