Love these shoes! I had multiple surgeries on my feet and right hip 3 years ago. I am sick of wearing sneakers with orthotics after my foot surgeries as I'm still rather young (28). I finally decided to try these for work and am in love with them. Will be ordering other colors in this shoe style. I get many compliments on them and can wear them all day without my arches/knees/hip/back hurting. Only a slight wear in time on my little toes but the ankle straps are fabulous and the arch support is great. I actually feel like I have some support when walking and I don't slip on the slippery floor at work in these shoes. Love them!

I love these shoes and get tons of compliments on them. It took me 1 time to "break" them in but really not much of a break in. I love these shoes!

Beautiful, well-made shoe! Alas, tho I'm a walker, the straps made my ankles look pudgy. If it weren't for that I'd be ordering them in more colors! They're very comfortable, and very pretty. Audrey Hepburn'ish understated elegance.

These shoes are absolutely adorable. I cannot wait to wear them! I have very flat feet and always wear orthotics. These shoes do not offer the support that I need. Luckily they have room for my orthotics in them. I can tell that I will be ordering these in different colors.

These are my favorite shoes. I was standing on line one day about a year ago when I noticed the woman in line in front of me had these darling shoes on. I told her how much I liked her shoes and she told me who they were made by, and as soon as I got home I ordered them. The first pair I owned were made slightly less than perfect by an errant glass of wine, and I ended up with a new pair courtesy of the person who spilled them. The old pair are now my everyday shoes and I have a nice pair that are just as comfy. They go with almost everything, so when I travel I no longer feel the need to bring extra shoes for anything.

This shoe is amazing! So perfectly comfortable right out of the box, very stylish, looks great with dresses and pants, compliments every time I wear this shoe...just love it!

This is an expensive shoe, but the construction, material, fit, support and style is worth it! I have worn with long skirts, capris, jeans, and casual pants - makes the outfit. These are so incredibly comfortable. I really struggled to spend this much on a single pair of shoes, but I love them.

Wow! How often do you find comfort and edgy style right out of the box! I did with these shoes! Love them! The fit is perfect for my foot (I take an 8.5 and have very narrow heels, so I was concerned that I might see a gap between me and the shoe at the ankle, but it wasn't an issue at all). It can be a challenge to find shoes that really fit and are comfortable enough to wear all day. These Gentle Souls measure up perfectly. They are expensive, but to me, are worth the price. These won't be the last pair I order. (By the way, I ordered these yesterday and they were delivered today. Can't beat Zappos' world-class service!)

These are cute, comfortable and even cover the cancels in the right spot. Normally wouldn't spend so much, but sweet!

Now that flats are making a comeback I needed a pair. After looking long and hard, these were the cutest I have found that also had good reviews. The price was bit steep, but I went for the grey suede pair. After owning the grey for roughly 3 weeks I was already yearning for the taupe pair. I was worried that material on the taupe would be stiff, but after receiving them I am so happy I decided to order them. Both pair are great! The zipper takes a bit of getting used to (mine did not rub like some others reviewers experienced), I just had to learn to scoot my foot forward when zipping them up because the zipper needs room to work easily. If your heel is pushed back towards the zipper while trying to zip it up, you may experience some resistance, which is easily remedied by pushing your foot forward in the shoe. These shoes are high quality. I stand at my job and these have held up well, they don't show much wear and I am hard on shoes. I recommend these to anyone who is fashion conscious, appreciates quality, and wants comfort too. Sizing was also spot-on, no need to size up or down.

Most comforatble shoe I have bought in a long time! Great for running off to store from exercise class or with cropped jeans. Looks a bit funky with skirts. Can't beat the comfort - a little orthotic looking.

I am a singer and I needed some comfortable but pretty black flats to stand in for long periods of time. Two days after I got them I wore them for a 3 hour performance. My feet felt great! I consider good, comfortable shoes an absolute necessity and these were perfect.

A gorgeous, comfortable shoe. They cost a small fortune, but I do adore them. It is questionable whether they are worth the price, but I don't regret the purchase. So I guess that means they are worth it then, doesn't it!?

Most expensive pair of shoes I've ever purchased however really worth the splurge. Beautiful suede that's held up in the rain. Very cushy sole. very comfortable. a big splurge however it was worth it. Style might not be 'glamorous' but my feet appreciated these shoes, big time!

Excellent shoe. Needed no breaking in, very comfortable, I walked for hours with these shoes and my feet were very happy. Best of all, I have narrow feet and have trouble keeping flats on, so the ankle feature was perfect. Good with jeans or a dress, felt very stylish, well worth the investment!

I really love these shoes and hoping to get the gray ones before my insurance money from the contents we lost in our house fire runs out. They are out of stock and I only have 2 more weeks. These are the most comfortable shoes and the style is so me! So happy to find them. I would never buy a pair of shoes that cost this much but because of the insurance money and never finding shoes I like I decided to buy them. So glad I did. Now I want one more pair. They are out of them so I hope they can get them in at least a couple weeks as my insurance money will end. At least I got one pair. But hoping for 2. Like I said, I would never buy shoes at this price but these sure are worth it. So cute! They are medium width and after having 8 babies my feet have widened a bit but they fit me perfect. I'm keeping them for good so they will last me forever but I would love to wear them everywhere because it's like wearing slippers. So comfortable.

This is the absolute cutest shoe. Very sadly, I had to return it because I have wide feet and my toes were squished. Very sad.

Fabulous! Wore them every day to a major 4 day trade show. First time ever to not have had major foot and leg pain after 9 hours of standing on a hard floor. Love them!

These shoes are worth the cost. Since I am older, my feet have become very particular. Wearing Alegria and Naots is comfy, but sometimes they are a bit clunky for some occasions. These shoes look graceful and have a good arch and foot support. I will be testing them for some long hours, but in my home, they seem like a dream come true. Thank you, Zappos, for telling me when my size would come in so I could snare a good fit for me. LOVE Zappos, and love these shoes!

Super cute shoe! Somewhat padded-- wish it had more arch support, but hey, it's still the most comfortable ballet flat I've ever purchased! I think this will look great with leggings and maxi skirts. I think I'd love it in another color as well. The ankle elastic is really comfortable and a nice touch, and does a great job of keeping the shoe on!

These ran true to size with a touch of extra room, which guarantees no blisters on the toes. They are perfect for work when I'm on my feet all day but still want to look nice.

This is a gorgeous flat shoe, well made. I was afraid the elastic straps might feel tight on my ankle, but not so. I ordered a 9.5 because they are suggested to be 1/2 size too large. I did not find this to be the case for me. I am waiting for a larger size to come in stock. These shoes are really beyond my usual range for price, but I love them!

I love these shoes. They're very comfortable and with the elastic straps they don't slip off my heels like other flats do. They're very flattering. I plan on wearing them with some leggings and a tunic top.

Gentle Souls never disappoints. Always true to size...you never have to order anything but your true size, in every style. I use to buy all high end designer brands and now always check through recent Gentle Souls stock to see if I can find what I'm looking for before I chance it on some overpriced designer. I bought these rather than a pair of pricey Chloe ballet flats...and I'm glad I did. They are already a go to pair of shoes for me this summer and will work for cold weather as well. They fit like a glove & are insanely comfortable at every point. Highly recommended!
