I just love this boot. I ordered this one and the Melissa button pull up too. Both are beautiful, but the zip back had more style and is a little dressier. Very happy with my purchase. I wear an 81/2 but bought an 8 because my other Fryes ran big. 8 was perfect.

I couldn't be more happy with these boots. They fit just right (no breaking in) and (the real test) when I put them on I don't want to take them off. The back zipper is a real asset. I had a pair of Frye boots before without that feature and they were very hard to get on and off. These are great boots.

I've always wanted to try a pair of Frye boots as the styles always look so timeless--yet the price is spendy. I finally splurged and am glad I did. I'm a 9 and the 9 fit perfectly, the leather is exquisite, the zip and snap detail is cute and easy to slip in and out of. My skinnies fit inside well, I love the fairly tall height, and best of all, I have pretty developed calves and these boots not only are big enough for my calves, but they are shapely around my calves, i.e. they fit trimly around the ankles too. Rare in a boot! They look great. The first time out of the box, I wore them all nite and several people (pals and strangers alike) showered compliments. If you are going to spend $ on a boot, consider this one. Simple, classic, well-fitting, and a boot that will look good whatever trends are coming or going. Worth the $.

The boots are beautiful and well made. The fit is just right and as an older person, I love the zipper in the back. Like all Frye boots, I know they will last. I also love the color!

I always get great products and customer service from Zappos!! The boots were great, and my daughter loved them!! I would suggest going up 1.5 size larger than your normal size.

These boots are beautiful, love how they fit in the calf, a bit narrow in the toe-box, but not unbearable so I'm keeping them & hoping they stretch out a bit after a couple more days of wearing them!

I really liked these boots, but there was something that didn't work for me around the ankle, and since I live in Alaska this boot had no anti-slip sole for the ice/snow.

I am so excited to have these boots. They are stiff to start out but I know they will soften up. A friend has a pair in brown that she absolutely loves and they become very comfortable after you work them in.

I love these boots! They are a beautiful antiqued brown leather, soft and supple with leather lining, very well made, beautiful quality. They are so comfortable, I wear a 10 in boots and these have plenty of room in them. Unlike most Frye boots that pull-on, these fit my legs perfectly with the zipper but wide enough to tuck in skinny jeans. I will wear them all Winter! The only drawback, with aniline leather they will mark easily with the simple scratch of a fingernail, but the aged look adds to their beauty.

These boots are timeless; gorgeous in style and color. I previously tried on the regular Melissa boots in the same size and found them difficult to put on, but then once on, they almost felt too big. Since these zipper up the back, the fit through the foot is much more snug without the slippage of the pull-on style. They are nice and high, which means they will look great with dresses, skirts, and pants. Haven't worn them yet, but I know these boots will definitely turn heads. Beautifully made, beautiful deep brown leather.

The quest for my first pair of boots is over! I have long legs and thin calves. Every other pair of jeans I have tried on had a lot of extra space in the calf area. These still do have some room, but it isn't an annoying empty bulging area and they make my legs look slim still. The bottoms do seem like they could be slippery on different surfaces.

These are so beautiful, but they are for someone with muscular calves, they are just too narrow to fit my legs into. I am going to return them and buy the extended version that has a little more room.

I absolutely love these boots, so much so that I bought them in brown and black. They are simple, classic, and extremely well constructed, plus they are great for women with thinner calves. I will be wearing these for years to come!

This is a beautiful and well-made boot. It's definitely a dress boot; it has very clean lines and high polish. It's also a snug fit from ankle to knee...probably the snuggest fit you can buy without buying a true riding boot or a custom-made Frye. The toe box is on the narrow side, the shaft fit snuggly on my calf and comes about an inch below the back of my knee. (I am normally an 8 1/2 N, have a low instep, 14 1/2 inch calves and am just shy of 5'5")!

These are beautiful sophisticated boots. But if you have high arches, beware! I could not even get my feet in these boots. The zipper does not go far enough down. If you have narrower feet and need something tall and slick, these are lovely.

These are some beautiful boots! I don't really need another pair of boots, but DANG - these are WAY too pretty to send back. I tend toward the wide side of things, so I'm exceptionally happy that these gorgeous boots fit my slightly wide feet.
