Did not fit.

Do it! Buy it! Yolo! I bought these and have been living in them ever since. I'm definitely not a rich mom, so buying these were a big deal. They are comfy, true to size, and accommodate my bunions. Love THEM.

I love the boot, but I have a narrower foot, especially my heal. I can't add a pad to the heal due to the back zipper, so unfortunately will not be able to wear the boot.

These boots are great quality and very stylish! They do take some breaking in before they are comfortable. I love these because I have narrow calves and most boots look ridiculous on me. These fit perfect. I did size down a half size because I've heard that these boots stretch out a little after they are broken in.

I was skeptical about paying this much for boots and I hope they last me a very long time, but I'm in love none-the-less. I wore my cheap riding boots so much and finally wore them out so I opted for real leather this go-around. They are BEAUTIFUL! If it helps at all, I wear a size 12-14 in apparel and had first tried the extended version thinking my calves are on the large size. Extended was too roomy. The standard fits my calf perfectly with a little room to spare and the real leather will also stretch with wear anyway. Only time will tell, but I believe Frye just gained a new customer for life!

Love the zipper in the back. I have a hard time taking boots off and I don't with these boots! I ordered .5 up so I could wear socks with them for the winter and not be to tight.

Love these boots. I find them more comfortable than my other Frye boots. Very flattering fit.

Review for Zappos Rewards Points These were really nice boots, however they ran large on me. I have another pair of Frye boots, which I bought at the Frye store a few years ago in 6.5, and should have known to buy these in 6.5, so I will have to return these. I may reorder in a smaller size.

The boots are stunningly gorgeous. They are smooth as butter. I got them in an 8 since I had a pair of Frye ballet flats that are an 8, but I probably should have gone with a 7.5 now that I wore them a few times. Its fine -- more room for socks for winter, I guess! I have already gotten compliments on them a few times. They are easy to get on and off and are a real show piece. If I had to complain about anything it is that the back zipper of one boot was bending into the back of my ankle but I think with more wear this will stop and it won't be an issue. Otherwise, lovely! SO HAPPY TO FINALLY HAVE A PAIR OF FRYE so I can stop lusting after other women's boots :)

these are beautiful. I have a wide foot and usually wear a size 9 so ordered 1/2 size up and they are perfect.

LOVE these boots. I was surprised how comfortable they were right out of the box. I normally have to break in my Frye boots. I did have to wear a thinner sock and use the loop holes to pull on the boots. I have wide feet and try to go barefoot as much as I can and these were fine. I also have a bunion on my left foot and it never hurt while wearing these boots. I also could walk at least 2 miles from wearing them day one without them hurting. They are also not too big or tight around the calf. My jeans never bunched. around the knees

The dark brown vintage leather is a beautiful color and quality of leather. I had to return this boot because it was too tight in the calf for me. I should have looked more closely at the measurements. I couldn't zip these up on my 15 - 15.5 inch calves. The zippers were also very stiff. The size 7.5 was true to size. Also- the soles on these Frye's are a very smooth hard leather, which in retrospect, would not be my preferred sole for a lot of walking on city streets,.

This is a very pretty boot and I was excited by the simplicity. I have been looking for a basic black boot without big buckles or other accessories. It fit as expected. Unfortunately, the leather feels stiff and the boots look like rubber rain galoshes when I put them on. Perhaps it is because the leather is shiny. Anyways, not exactly what I am looking for so they are going back.

This is my second pair of these boots, the first having been worn for nearly 3 years constantly.I waterproofed them with mink oil and wore them in the rain no problem. Plenty of space for my arch inserts and a very comfortable fit for those with larger calves. This is a great style, simple enough to look sleek when needed, but also casual and fairly sturdy. If I have any complaint at all it's about the leather-wrapped heel, which tends to come unraveled too easily. I would have expected a true stacked heel from Frye. But overall a great basic boot.

These boots are just gorgeous. Like every pair of Frye's I've had, supple leather and fit perfect out of the box - no blisters. The leather will loosen over time, but I felt the toe box to be comfortable. The snaps can be a bit tricky the first few times, but once you get the hang of it, no problem. They are perfect with jeans, skirts and dresses.

Love these boots. I have a brown pair too. They fit nice and snug fit on my ankles and calves. Great quality leather, zipper and snaps. Would buy again!

LOVE these boots. They are such a great casual boot but I really like wearing them with dresses/skirts! They are the perfect boot to dress up or down. Very comfortable and I feel like they will only get better with age. Great quality boot! The only drawback: You can't sit with your legs crosses due to the button on the back of the book digs into your leg bad and is very painful!

These boots are so beautiful. You definitely get noticed wearing them, but not in an obnoxious "look at me! look at me!" kind of way. They are really classy and well-made; they just look really high quality. I got them in my usual size and they fit "perfectly". I say "perfectly" because while the actual length of my foot is accommodated, the zipper is quite painful on my ankle bone. I'm hoping that this issue goes away the more I wear them, but I'll have to figure out a way to protect my ankles in order to break them in.

My feet were made for these boots!!! Absolutely impeccable quality of leather and workmanship of these gorgeous piece of art. Everyone should have at least a pair of FRYE in their closed. I am size 7 and sometimes ware 7 1/2 depending on the recommendation for the shoe. I bought my FRYE's in 7 and they fit perfectly even around the calf. Also because the quality of the leather is so high the more you ware these boots the better they feel. Very comfortable.

These boots are gorgeous! I really like how the lack of detailing in the front allows for a smooth and polished look. I bought these in the dark brown and the cognac and kept the cognac. I loved the dark brown as well but they seemed a little more bland. The leather smells amazing! One toe was really tight at first and I was worried I would have to tolerate a painful break in period, but just trying the boots on around home broke it in enough to wear comfortably. One of the zippers sticks a bit but I think this will also loosen up as I wear them more.

Super soft and flexible leather. So far I think they're pretty comfortable. I am 5' tall and they're the perfect height.

These are amazing! Bought them on sale with rewards:). I have two other pairs of Frye boots and after wearing them it's hard to wear anything else. The quality is amazing!! I have a hard time finding riding boots that aren't gapping around the calf, these fit nicely with just a small amount of room.

Felt true to size. Beautiful shoes. I ordered the dark brown and it was true to the color online which doesn't happen too often. They are super slick to walk in until you wear them outside. I love these boots and plan on ordering the black soon but I will probably order them in wide if I can find them. Must have boots this season.

OK this is a beautiful boot. Not too tall, not too big around the calf. Perfect little heel. AND it ZIPS UP THE BACK. So you can actually get your foot into it! I like, don't love, the cognac color. if I had other brown boots I might feel differently but it's a beautiful color. Just maybe a little too cognac for me (no fault of their own). the zipper is a little stiff and the soles a little slick but time will take care of those. I can wear 9.5 to 10 and the 9.5 fit well with thinner socks right out of the box.
