Great boot. I'm a size 10 and reading the reviews I ordered a size up (11) and it was a good fit. My feet feel warm and feel a bit stiff but should breaking after a couple of uses.

Great quality, but size runs very small. I'm normally a 12-13...but even the size 13 was too small.

The reviews said to go large, so I went with an 11½ size. In sneakers I typically wear 11, in boots 10½. Even the 11½ was tight, but eventually broke in a bit. I would recommend going one full size larger. Overall, they are very comfortable and extremely warm. I bought them for a weekend winter camping trip. I was hiking around in a foot of snow in temperatures in the teens. My feet kept warm the entire time. They are great! The rubber goes up high enough to keep your feet dry.

I went to Calgary with this pair of shoes. Snow shoeing near Lake Louise in February is fun. The shoes kept my feet warm! Definitely recommend it!

Awesome shoes, fit true to size. I used them for walking around town in Colorado and for snowshoeing Great value for this boot.

Great boots, super warm. At first, the insulation felt a little constricting, but has since loosened up a bit. A little heavy, but expected from an insulated boot. These boots do run a FULL SIZE small. I wish it would snow more so I could wear these around town!

Gift for my husband for the holiday. I purchased his normal size, 10.5. He said that they were very small. I exchanged them for an 11. He said that they are still a touch small.

Soft and cushy

Usually wear a 10.5/11. Ordered an 11.5 because of other comments and toes were smashing to front. Reordered the 12 and now my foot slips when I walk. Double socks and extra tight laces helps a little. Love the boot though from every other perspective.

They are very warm very comfy a bit snug on the toes if you need a 13 you will need a 13 1/2 because of the sock in the boot the keeps you feet warm it takes away an 1/2 in the shoe.

I bought these for my 14-year old son for snow. All of the reviews said to go up at least 1/2 to one full size. He is normally a 9.5/10 so I ordered a 10.5. I am returning them and ordering an 11 and 11.5 or him to try. They are very thick and padded and that impacts the size and fit. They are an attractive boot and look perfect for snow and bad Northeastern weather. They also seem very padded and warm.

These ran small by one size. They looked more like galoshes (oversized and clunky) when out of the box. I was interested in more of a hiking style.

I just got these to day and I feel like snow is no match for me living in Reno we get quite a bit but not like heavy snow so I don't know how it would preform. You need to get a full size or have size up and no need for thick socks this show has you covered. The ice pick technology is super useful when going through the snow.

Get a half size bigger, maybe even a full size. The inside is really comfy but so thick that it makes the shoe feel tighter. Also recommend wearing thick high socks, they rub the back of my calf a bit and started to irritate the area.

This shoe has lots of padding inside, and I think it would be super comfortable if I had the right size...but it runs rather small. I'd have to go a whole size up, not just a half size, to have any hope of it fitting.

Buy at least 2 sizes up! Bought 3 pair for a ski trip for my 3 sons. The youngest ended up wearing the oldest's shoes. Returned the others and went 2 sizes up. They are very comfortable and warm if the proper size is worn.

Nice warm boot. Fits a little snug so you should go up at least a half size and wear thin socks. My feet never really got cold.

I read the reviews and bought my son a full size larger that what he normally wears and these were still too small. We exchanged for two full sizes larger to accommodate wool socks and they fit fine now. He loves them and says they are warm and comfortable for his 1.5 mile trek to school; however, just like other reviewers we found sizing to be way off.

The reviews are accurate, these boots run small! Based on the reviews I ordered 1 size up and when they showed up they were still too small. It was a toss up if I needed to go one and a half sizes up or two, I re-ordered and went with two figuring I'd probably be wearing a winter sock with them. Wore them in the cold to watch some sub 30 degree football from the stands and they were as warm as I hoped. I'm just surprised that a company like North Face can't get the sizing right on one of their more popular winter boots. I highly recommend ordering these one and a half and two sizes up, the Zappos shipping policy allows for an easy way to make sure you get the right size and can send back the ones that don't fit.

I am a 10.5 in every shoe/boot I've ever worn EXCEPT for this particular Northface boot. I originally ordered the 11 and couldn't get my foot into it. Zappos promptly sent me a 12 yesterday and it was no bigger than the 11. I could at least get my foot into it but my toes were all the way scrunched. Very strange how the sizing is totally inaccurate for this particular Northface boot. I just returned the 12's. I am weary about ordering a 13.... again, I am normally a 10.5! The boots themselves are high quality and very nice looking for the price... getting them on your foot comfortably is another story. My advice, order 2-3 sizes up from what you normally where. Very disappointed that I had to return them.

Although this is a great boot and very warm, it took multiple orders to get the right size. I wear mens size 8, so that's what I ordered - was way too small. So I ordered again, this time ordering size 9 and a pair of size 9.5. The size 9 was still too small. The 9.5 was okay if wearing very lightweight socks or going barefoot (barefoot was the best - kept the feet toasty warm). I decided to return the size 8 and size 9 and keep the size 9.5. I had thought of ordering another pair in size 10 to see how they would fit but really didn't want to go thru the hassle of returning another box to the UPS store. Since I will only be wearing these boots while walking short distances I can live with wearing them barefoot. If I needed to do a lot of hiking in them wearing heavy socks, who know how many orders I would have had to do to get the correct size.

Great Look! Comfortable. Trouble finding the right size. If you take out the insert and replace with another liner (ex Dr. Scholls), the boots fit more true to size.

Comfy and warm. But due to all the insulation and reading the reviews I reluctantly ordered a half size up. And am glad I did. The shoes fit nice and snug even with a good pair off thermal socks. It took about two days to break them in but they seem to wear better the longer I spend time in them. So far so good.

I just received my pair today and I love them! Reading other's reviews really did help with my decision before actually purchasing the shoes. Upon opening, you realize how huge these are especially because you want to order them half to a full size up. If you plan to wear these with thick socks, they would definitely feel a lot tighter along with the inner padding so make sure you take that into consideration. Service was awesome even though the Nor'easter delayed delivery by a day. Other than that, style is great, feels and looks durable, they are nice, comfortable and warm.
