Very comfortable at first, but then hits wrong spots on my metatarsals after about 30 min. Toe box, though wide, is doesn't stretch much and hurts my bunion on my left foot. Really tried to like these.. seem like they offer great arch support.

I have raging plantar fasciitis and really wanted these to work. I would pay any amount of money to have the pain go away and be able to take normal, long walks. However, I just couldn't get these to feel right. I have another Vionic style (Satima) that fits in a half size larger than what I wear in almost every other shoe. In this shoe, that was too large, so I ordered down. Better, but not enough room in the width/toe box. I ordered wide, but it just didn't feel right. The thing about Vionics is that they can be good, but the arch support needs to hit in just the right place. If it doesn't by even a little bit, feet will hurt worse and the oddity of fit will be annoying. I really resent needing to buy a pair of shoes, then spend another $40+ on inserts. I was hoping these shoes would solve that, but not for this style, which I am returning.

These are just really ugly. If they had been amazingly comfortable I may have decided to keep them but they were only marginally comfortable. Just couldn't bear the way they look so they are going back.

I bought this pair of shoes to wear while watching my twin granddaughters. The shoes are stiff and my feet are having a difficult time adjusting to them. I have narrow feet and high arches.

I have bought these shoes twice for work which I spent on my feet at least 25 hours a week. They wore funny overtime so that the heel was slanted. I think the problem is they are fit wide and so my foot moves inside them. I really love how they held up to being on my feet but I just can't buy another pair.

I returned these because my feet were swimming in them. I am assuming that the 'classic' name is because they were one of the first in the line but they are super-clunky looking compared to the more streamlined and fashionable choices we have now. I ordered two different pairs and I'm happy with those. Don't know what I'd do without Vionic shoes!

I think this is a good shoe overall and wore it for daily 3-mile treadmill walks for several months after ordering, but it rubbed my bunion, causing painful blisters, unless I wore very thick fleece socks. The shoe doesn’t really breathe, so this was a bad combination and I ended up buying a pair of New Balance that are equally supportive but less painful.

I read a lot of great things about these shoes for folks with plantar fascitis. However unfortunately they did not work for me. Too wide in the toe box and generally throughout the shoe. However, for others my foot does tend to run narrow. Thanks

The shoes are comfortable but they are very heavy. Would probably be more likely to wear in the fall and winter months. A little too heavy and hot for summer.

I have a pair of Vionic slippers, which I love, so I thought I'd try the sneakers, but I'm truly disappointed. The sole and arch support are great, as expected. But the way the top of the sneaker is constructed is causing serious pain on my right pinky toe. The point where 3 sections of the upper part of the sneaker come together should be soft, but it feels almost like there's some sort of plastic piping that is too stiff to break in. I've had them for weeks and it's not getting any better. Have tried moleskin, etc. So, as much as I wanted to love these... I can't.

Originally ordered 8.5, but had to exchange for an 8. I've got a pair of Vionic slippers that I love, and always wish I could walk around in them all day everywhere, so I figured I'd try the slippers. The soles of these are definitely great, and so is arch support. But where several panels meet on the top right/left, by my pinky toe, they create an inner bump that still hasn't quite broken in, and is still irritating. Hopefully they'll break in over more time, but I have had and worn them for several weeks now.

These are very nice shoes but they are much too large. I wear a size 7.5 and these felt like a size 8. I had to return them. I'm afraid to order a size 7 because they might be too small. Will have to choose another brand.

I have quite a few pairs of Vionics and love how comfortable they are and help me avoid flare ups of my plantar fasciitis. I bought a pair for work 7.5 regular width but had to return them for the wide width. Unfortunately Zappos didn't have the wide width so had to order from the vionic website amd pay shipping. The wide width fit alot better. They are not the most attractive shoes but I'm an RN and need the support. I wouldn't wear them outside of work because they are not cute, that's for sure!

This is my second pair of these shoes. I turn to them when I'm having foot pain. The arch support is great but the comfort is just not there. Sneakers are supposed to have a sole that cushions every step. These do not. The sole is hard. The impact of each step is not countered at all. A cushier sole would be a vast improvement for these shoes.

I keep buying these shoes since they're the only pair I can find that are so perfectly supportive, but why are they so darn ugly?! I tried a half dozen sneakers in an attempt to avoid these, including other Vionics, but I always settle for these. Come on, Vionic...take this shoe and give it some positive aesthetics!

I have purchased this Vionic Walker twice before, being ver satisfied (size 10) However, the most recent pair I ordered are short and not comfortable. I am disappointed. I will exchange for one half size larger, hoping for the same comfort I've experienced from Vionic in the past.

They are very heavy and I felt not true to size as they seem to run small. Unfortunately I wore them outside to try and break them in and now they are not eligible for return.

The reason I buy these shoes is that these shoes are somewhat orthopedic/offering support while looking stylish. These sneakers look like any orthopedic shoes. If they are cheaper, and you dont care, go for it. Ofherwise, they are plai, ugly.

I purchased this shoe based on the great reviews regarding support as I suffer from plantars faciatis. While this shoe meets those functional requirements, it lacks completely in style. It looked large and clunky on my foot. I just could not bring myself to use this as my walking shoe. It looks very industrial.

Very hard on the inside, no cushion. While it has a high arch support it felt like wood. Will return, cute shoe though.

I keep trying to find the 'perfect' shoe to deal with my plantar fasciitis. Thought this might be the answer, but no! The arch hits my foot in the wrong place - not comfortable at all. My search continues.

Won't be ordering these again. Very hard shoes. Didn't help my planter's fisc. pain. Going back to New Balance. Feel they aren't worth the money or hype.
