I bought these for walking. Ok. I ALWAYS wear an 81/2 shoe. Sometimes an 8. This shoe runs short. I exchanged them for a nine. And they're...ok. thin socks will help

My feet are complicated so I require a wide roomy toe box snug ankle collar good depth in the mid-shoe area to accommodate a high instep yet strong arch support as my arches collapse (flexible flatfoot) and am currently battling a painful case of plantar fasciitis. This is the second pair of Vionic shoes I've purchased and immediately returned because though they are highly rated for those of us with foot issues so far they just haven't worked out for me. This particular model just did not have the toe box room I need plus didn't have a strong enough arch. I also wish the sole especially the forefront of the sole had more flexibility. I do think it was a nicely manufactured shoe and the color was indeed a lovely shade of mauve (almost a light plum). I wish they had worked for me.

I've been trying many sneakers to help relieve plantar fasciitis and was hoping these would work because I wear Vionic slippers and flip flops and love them. Unfortunately although these sneakers are really cushioned for comfort and have the arch support in the insole they're really big and bulky in overall size. Not just inside the shoe where there's too much space but the shoe itself is much bigger than any sneaker I've worn. If you have thick wide feet these will be great. Sadly had to return. Will keep trying other Vionic shoes though because the arch support is really great.

I normally wear Easy Spirit sneakers in 9M. Since I now have plantar fasciitis I decided to try the Vionic Walker in 9M. It was much too wide. In addition, the upper part was too long causing the tongue to rub. Returning.

With shoes intended for exercising walking etc. I have always heard you need to get one size up to avoid toes hitting the ends. These are too small while walking down a slight hill my toes jam into the ends. They are comfortable if you are always on flat ground no inclines. If they came in a larger size I would try that out but unfortunately I have big feet!

I've had my shoes about 2 weeks now. I bought the wide because my toe area is wide. The only issue I have is the right toe box seems smaller than the left toe box (not much) but just enough to make my toes feel cramped. Maybe a QC issue ??? Otherwise they fit fine comfortable to walk in and when wearing the shoes my plantar faciatis disappears.

This shoe looked like just what I needed but unfortunately had to send them back. Size was fine. 6 1/2. I have bunions and they did feel pretty good as far as pain went. But they just did not have enough flexibility for me on my walks. Part of the problem is the trails I walk on are concrete and they are hard on everything, feet, back, neck. So I need a softer sole. These are pretty rigid because they are leather and the sole is rigid too. For someone who needs a good solid shoe for work, these would be great. But for walking, they weren't what I needed. Felt boxy. Great arch support if you have arch problems.

I have to send this shoe back. It is just not what I expected because it is a leather shoe. Kind of stiff and boxy. I needed a more flexible shoe. I have bunions and am looking for support with no pain. I didn't have pain but felt very flat footed when walking. Just wore them on the carpet for a half day. I'm sure this would be a good shoe for someone looking for good support, but I need more spring in the shoe. Size seemed OK.

This shoe so far has the best arch support for my very high arches. I usually wear size 7 but ordered a size 7.5. They were a bit too big. My foot felt like it was sliding forward and the arch support wasn't exactly under my arch but rather it was a little bit back. I also didn't like the color. So, I returned these for a size 7 in a different color. We'll see how they work out.

I ordered the wide width and would have preferred they be a little more roomy. The shoes don't have the great arch support that the flip flop style sandals do. I kept the shoes because I love the style and the width & arch support are while not great they are adequate.

Wow, these shoes made me feel like a cartoon character. They fit fine, but looked HUGE on my feet. These are some BIG shoes. Sending them back.

First time trying Vionic. Nice shoe but the arch didn’t line up with my foot. Returned

As usual a great shoe but not a summer walker - too much unbreathable leather - making the shoe too hot for summer

I am still trying these out they seem solid and comfortable but due to foot issues not sure they are helping just yet.

When I first put the shoes on you could feel the support. Right away the pain in the heels of my feet went away. After wearing them for a few days the pain came back. Either way they are a nice pair of shoes. They just didn't cure my problem.

I found these to be very stiff and boxy, like big rectangles on my feet, though they were lightweight. The mid portion was extremely wide and loose, and the toe box not as roomy as the Vionic Elation's that I was trying to replace.

It was just ok. Not really that comfortable. For my foot. I have other Vionic shoes and boots that are amazing. This not so much. Also felt clunky

Toe box too narrow. I’ve been buying these for years as I need the orthotic insert which does wonders for my stability, but the last year or two have brought a surprisingly narrower toe box. It has caused much toe pain, so I’ll be buying from a different shoemaker next time.

I was so excited to see that Vionic now had a wide walking shoe, unfortunately when I tried them on the shoe rubbed on both of my small toes. Luckily I only wore them around the house for an hour so I was able to return them.

Sadly, this shoe did not work for me. I love vionic sandals & their slippers save me from agony after I get home from work (I work on my feet) but this shoe was not cut wide enough for my toe box area. It cut into my foot at the point where the sole met the shoe portion. That will be a problem after 2 hours if it already hurts after 5 minutes of trying them on. Normally I wear a 10 WW in other shoes, but Vionic sandals usually fit in a wide width. No win this time.

The fit of this shoe was a bit too large. The real problem for me is that there is some piece of something in the upper that rubbed against the knuckle of my big toe in a really uncomfortable way and didn't go away with repeated wearings. I had to return them. It's too bad because they were otherwise comfortable.

I have vionic flip flops and love them for the arch support. The placement of the support in these shoes wasn’t in the right place for me.

These shoes are too stiff. After wearing them according to the instructions I found them to be very uncomfortable - it felt like the bottoms were made of concrete.

I purchased in a 10.5, which is a half-size up from my normal 10. I do this with walking shoes so as to wear both orthotics and thicker socks. I really liked the color and style but the 10.5 felt so much bigger than expected. I returned the item.
