Best arch support for a commercially available shoe I've seen. My only complaint is they are a bit hard for standing for any length of time. The orthotic is great, but overall the shoe could do with a thicker sole. Wonderful shoe, but I think next time I'll get their orthotic separately and put it in a more comfortable shoe.

Zappos.com always wins high praise! I have worn the Orthaheel Walker (in white) for the past few years and couldn't say enough about them. However, this black shoe, while still very comfortable, has a major manufacturing quality issue with their black interior fabric. It rubs off onto any socks and will not be washed out! Hence, you end up with a great pair of black shoes as far as comfort is concerned, but you will ruin every pair of socks you ware with these shoes. This model is not ready for the customer.

I have Metatarsalgia (pain in the ball of my foot) which means I have trouble finding comfortable shoes. I teach physical education so I am on my feet and moving all day. These are the most comfortable shoes I've worn in a long time. They have a molded space for your heel which is good for people suffering from plantar fasciitis and great arch support.

I love, love, Love these sneakers ! This will be my only sneakers from now on.Zappos and Vionic have got my business.???? I originally got an 11 but it felt a little large. ??I didn t want to send them back because I was so excited to get them. The customer service was so nice. She blew my mind when she offered me a 10 1/2 ! What! ?? Who makes a 10 1/2 anymore. ??Plus she gave me free overnight shipping. ????

These were great at first, but they haven't even lasted a year. The part of the sneaker that touches the back of my heel tore open so now the sharp frame brushes against my heel. Photo attached. I was not expecting that due to the price. I will say that until that happened, these shoes were amazing, but since it took less than a year for these to fall apart, I wouldn't repurchase.

Very comfortable shoe from day one. Great arch support! I don't mind the conservative look, it's my daily dog walker and other than not being waterproof worked very well for this purpose. I bought this shoe on June 1. Five and a half months later the seams are coming apart. Even with daily use, I expect a quality shoe to last a year. I found some very nice waterproof real leather walkers at LLBean so I think I'll order a second pair there to replace these Vionics.

I have been wearing Vionic's for about 10 years. Since Covid-19 hit, decided to start hiking. I wanted even more support, so I chose this style. I find I can easily hike for an hour, which includes hills. They actually propel you forward, making it easier to walk. I am a 7 medium, my normal size and with the sock it is fine. I do recommend if you need arch support, which is my concern. I wish you many days of happy hiking and hope this shoe brings you joy!! Need to give accolades to Zappos, they were wonderful! They provided excellent customer service as a first time customer and will definitely order from them again!

Vionic has been my first choice, but will look at Hoka since recommended by friends.

The most comfortable pair of sneakers I have ever worn in my life! Orthaheel has fantastic arch support which is why I started buying Orthaheel sandals last summer. I had pain in my left and my doctor I get insoles. But I discovered Orthaheels on QVC, but ended up getting them at Zappos because of free shipping to and from. In the beginning I ordered directly from Orthaheel but the return postage was so expensive I resolved to only order them from Zappos. Besides the sole, the material provides excellent support as well. Nice blue and white colors. Nice design (the lines, etc.). I will never buy another sneaker from any other company. Only Orthaheel through Zappos. I guarantee you will think that this sneaker is the best investment for your walking health. (One less thing to worry about in your busy hectic life.)

Can't believe this shoe fit so perfectly on the first try. I am very hard to fit and would never consider buying this type of shoe on line without having tried it on somewhere first. I only did because of the return and free shipping policy. I love the shoes! They fit perfectly and are so comfortable for my arches. No back or leg pain. I'm so thrilled to not have to wear my orthotic inserts. I'm so pleased with the shoes and the fast excellent service.

Amazing...I've never put on a pair of walking shoes that felt so right. I often feel "wobbly" in some other brands and I hate when I get that kind of "roll" feeling...but not with these. They really support your foot and make you feel steady. Also, they are great looking. I got my usual 8 1/2 M and they fit perfectly.

Very comfortable and good support. If you have wide feet, they are nice and roomy for your toes. I am very happy with them.

I developed plantar fasciitis and a lump on the back of my heel. Add the need for a round, wide toe box and arch support and these shoes were the answer. I got two pair and alternated days wearing them. Many, many pandemic months later, my PF is gone, the lump is gone, my feet feel great, I've lost a zillion pounds - but I developed a corn on my right little toe. Overall the shoes did the trick, but I will never buy another shoe with stitching, seaming or appliqued elements. The soles are great but the uppers are cracked and extremely uncomfortable. See photo for a sample crack and the corn-causing seaming behind it.

I am an active old woman with very arthritic feet. I wear athletic shoes for their support. In the past I have purchased Brooks and like them! But had to add orthotics and the shoe itself did not last more than 2 yrs. Now let's talk vionic. I did alot of research on shoes before purchasing and also tried Gdefy and Clark's before this purchase, sending them both back. Vionic is a GREAT shoe! Roomy toe box, solid construction, and the support works for my feet WITHOUT purchasing expensive inserts! There is slight pressure on my large bunion when I put them on, but the shoe is so stable it doesnt rub it and cause pain or redness! Also like the extra eyelet on this shoe for more tightening across the ankle. Now, will they last more than the disappointing 2 years? I dont know. But I hope they do! Zappos shipped fast, had my wide width, and a great price. I am a happy old lady! Now, who wants to join us for a walk? :)

These shoes are saving my feet. A podiatrist recommended Orthaheels, but she's putting herself out of a job because my plantar fasciitis is finally being resolved. I wear them constantly - I only wish they came in narrow. I like that they are all black, as they "blend" better than my glaring white sneakers that are the only other go-to option until my condition resolves. The arch is a bit high - I recommend taking their advice and starting with a gradual adjustment period - but it's worth the time.

I am a loyal Orthaheel customer. I have several styles of sandals and love them! I stand for hours on my job and decided to give these walkers a try. I am so happy that I have not had the usual fatigue with hip and back discomfort since wearing them. I also have been using them on the treadmill with great success. My shoe closet is slowing becoming an Orthaheels only closet!

Great walking shoe - very comfortable arch support. Really helps alleviate my foot/ankle/tendinitis pain. Taking them to Europe for a cruise with lots of walking excursions. I normally wear a 9.5 but find that Orthaheel shoes seem to run about a half size larger than marked.

This is the first Vonoic shoes that cause blisters on BOTH of my little toes! Very disappointed and I can not wear! Not I’m stuck with new shoes that I can’t use! Very disappointed.

I have been looking for comfortable shoes since I have heel spurs. These have good arch support. I do wish there was more cushioning in the heel but that's the only change I would make. I have bought many shoes at great expense that I have returned or either put in the closet. These were a winner.

Because of reviews, I am able to buy online at my favorite place and hardly ever have to return. I'm a flat footed 8 1/2 usually wide in Brooks or New Balance. I read the reviews carefully. 8 1/2 med are perfect. My orthotics aren't needed because of the built in arch. The shoe runs wide, so I stayed with a medium. I stand 7 hours a day at work and love this brand. I will definitely buy more.

These shoes do take a little getting used to, but after a few days of wearing they are very comfortable. I have had so many foot problems, and these shoes are really helping.
