These shoes do take a little getting used to, but after a few days of wearing they are very comfortable. I have had so many foot problems, and these shoes are really helping.

Were a little stiff at the beginning but are feeling better all the time. Great arch support and firm support for my arthritic knees. Looked clunky out of the box but when they're on, they look good.

The insoles (removable) in these are even better than my prescription orthotics! The sneakers are good, too, but I really kept them for the insoles - I use them in my Vans Prison Issue and they fit and make the shoe a better option for my pained feet. This sneaker I found to run big, or else my feet have gotten smaller. I usually wear an 11W, but in this the 11M felt a little too big, but smaller sizes weren't available. The sneakers feel very light.

I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and wear custom orthotics. I love these shoes! I used to rip the sole out of other brands and transfer my custom insoles from my work shoe to my gym shoe every night (what a pain!) These have built in orthotic insoles that are ideal for plantar fasciitis relief, and I have no pain wearing them while riding the bikes, walking or working out. The shoe fits true to size, but I find that it has a very roomy toe box. Because of my custom orthotics, I must normally order a wide width, but because these have built-in orthotic insoles, I ordered my normal size (Medium width) and they fit great. Wide would have been too roomy.

Felt very comfortable and supportive; however, was cut too high at the ankle and rubbed my ankle bones! I walk 3-5 miles a day at work so I had to return them and rethink my choice.

Anything Orthaheels is good! Sandals, sneakers, walking shoes - even the slippers! For arch support, there's nothing better than Orthaheel!

These are great shoes. Very nice arch support, I only had them a month now but the heal pain gets less everyday. They do run about 1/2 size big. but for winter socks they are perfect!

This is my second pair of Orthaheel sneakers. Extremely comfortable and supportive. A big difference from regular walking sneakers!

I have had these shoes about a week and it could be me but I think my PF feels better already. I wear my old shoes and I can feel the difference right away. They could be a tad wider in the toe box for those of us with fat feet.

Oh my gosh, they really work! I have high arches so plantar fasciitis kicks my arse when I walk/jog...spent hundreds on expensive sneakers & inserts...then discovered Orthaheel flip-flops and was in instant heaven. I realized they made a sneaker I can jog in so I ordered them at 9pm, Zappos delivered them the next morning! For the 1st time ever I jogged without having to do feet stretching midway. It's a miracle, really!

These shoes felt very comfortable but were a half size too big. I was pretty disappointed because none of the other reviews mentioned it and I needed them right away. Other than that, they seem to be made of quality materials unlike the Nike's I ordered last week - made entirely out of man-made materials. I am looking forward to my replacement pair in a smaller size.

I posted a review a couple of days after I got these shoes and am unfortunately having to post another one. I am very disappointed. I have been purchasing Orthaheel flip flops for years and love them so I was so excited to try out the walking shoes. The arches are good but the soles in the front of the shoe are sorely lacking in comfort. They feel very hard and the balls of my feet are very sore after wearing them for a week. I also noticed today that the bottom of one of the shoes has become detached already. They seem to be lacking in quality and are not what I would expect for a pair of shoes at this price. I wish companies would start making shoes in America again. Of course, I can't return them now because I have worn them outside so I guess I will try to glue it back together and hope that it holds. I will definitely not be purchasing these again. If you do decide to purchase, go down in size. Every other shoe I purchase is a 10.5 but I had to get 10 in these shoes. After a week, they seem to have stretched and the 10 feels too large for me now in the toe box so I am wondering if I should've gotten a 9.5.

I bought these shoes for work. I stand on ceramic tile all day and the floor gets wet. They are terribly slippery on that type of flooring, especially when wet. I ordered a wide width and they are not quite wide enough. I might have to have them stretched a little wider.

No cushioning at all in the insole so it hurts to walk in these. Fit is perfect. It is slimmer and less bulky looking than most shoes walking shoes.

This is my second pair. Very comfortable walking shoe. It does look a lot like an orthopedic shoe, but I walk 7 miles a day so comfort is more important than style. No breaking in required, with good arch support. I got the sand color for dusty trails. Minor detail that I appreciate: you don't have to double tie the laces. One bow and they stay in place.

I have ordered these shoes over and over because they are the best I’ve found for my daily walking. They provide good arch support and are very comfortable. I’ve tried other Vionic styles because these aren’t the most stylish, but always return to this one.

I have Plantar Fasciitis and these shoes are well worth the money and even the grandma shoe looks (no disrespect to my elders meant). Seriously, I've had no need for my custom ortho inserts either when walking in these and I can go for an easy 1-1.5 hr walk, which I sometimes do with my dogs, and my feet couldn't be happier. I've tried the Vionic flip flops which I thoroughly dislike as my foot seems to move around a lot in them (I prefer the Burkenstocks for flip flop alternatives, the ones that are make like from the Crocks type foam material). But these walking sneakers are perfect. Lots of room in the toe box too. Not sure how hot my feet might get as the weather warms up, but they are perfect right now. Thank you Zappos for the excellent customer service as usual - I'd ordered 8.5 just in case, but the 8 fit fine, so it was true to size.

Beautiful shoe. Excellent arch support. Roomy toe box. Great fit for my narrow ankle. Sadly I had to return because of my small- toe bunion. There is a tiny area inside the shoe-maybe it is a seam to the mesh- anyway my toe bunion rubbed up against it .If my small toe didn't have the additional bone width this would be the perfect shoe for me. I rated the Vionic walker 5 stars. Thank you Zappos for your excellent shipping/ return policy and customer service.

The size is perfect, I wear a 9 and the 9 is perfect. I had ordered a 9 med width, but my toes were crushed. Returned them and within a day I had the 9 wide. I am very happy with them. I am not noticing very much arch support as I had hoped. But so far so good.

I have had plantar fasciitis for the past few months and these shoes really provide relief from the pain. I usually wear a 10, but based on earlier reviews, I ordered a 9.5 which fit perfectly. They also run a little wide, but that hasn't been a problem for me.

Love these shoes! I've been wearing Orthaheel flip flops for years and finally decided to try the walking shoes. They feel just as good as the flip flops and better because they are lace ups so your feet stay right where they need to be on the soles. I highly recommend these for anyone who has plantar fasciitis and they are well worth the expense. In tennisshoes, it is normally recommended that you order a half size larger than you measure but these run a little larger than most tennisshoes so there is no need to go up in size. Order exactly the size that your feet measure.
