Two stars for style because I don't like the way these look (what is up with the two different colors blue?), but they are perfect for what I will be using them for (foot health/relief from pain while exercising - not for looks). The removable insoles that come with the shoe are comparable to my orthotics, except for the materials used (seems rather light-weight) so I don't know if the insoles will last as long as the shoe will, but if they don't last I can easily substitute them with my custom orthotics. I wear a size 9 in The Orthaheel Wave flip-flop, so I ordered a size 10 W in these, and they fit perfectly (I do not like a snug fit in a closed shoe).

I ordered these because I had to get orthotics for PTTD which the main component for me was arch support. I had a pair of Orthaheel sandles and they worked. THese are great, I haven't worn them for being on my feet all day, I still wear the orthotic for that but I wear them for everyday wear and they are perfect and very light. I wear size 11 and although I find some shoes a little small, these fit perfectly.

Very comfortable shoes. I have a very bad pronation problem and these really feel good when I walk. Could order them 1/2 size smaller.

I followed other reviews and ordered 1/2 size smaller. The shoe was too short, will order again in normal size.

I purchased 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear and they fit just fine. It definitely has great arch support! Not a shoe for someone without a high arch. I was developing plantar fasciitis from a lack of support in my old nursing shoes. I was beginning to have a hard time getting through a full shift without significant pain. After wearing these shoes for just a couple shifts, my feet felt great again. They aren't the most attractive shoes, but if you need arch support I would highly recommend this shoe!

Very comforting to heel and arch. Work up to the amount of time you want to wear the shoes, until arch is conformed or back in place. Then you will not want to go without the support. It may hurt at first, take it slow. I also have Orthaheeel sandals for around the house. Wonderful, relieving, healthy feet!

So far I think I will like these. I noticed that Orthaheel has a 30 day return policy if one does not like their shoes, was I happy to see this, I have feet, back and knee problems. So will have to wait 30 days to see if I still like them.

I bought the flip flops first and they were so comfortable I thought I'd try the athletic shoes. Amazing...I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes really do help. I always bought NB and these are better in every way. I am hopeful that they will not break down as quickly as the NB do. Very comfortable. I wish they made dress shoes or loafers.

Overall, I rate these sneaks as a 5. They are very comfortable and have helped my low back and knees to be much less painful since I started wearing them over the past few weeks. The only thing I'd change, and this is minor, is that they are a teensy bit hot, being mostly leather with a little bit of mesh, but this is perhaps part of their support feature. As I say, to me that's a minor issue.

These shoes are great for the price. I do a lot of walking and work on my feet and these shoes keep me comfortable for hours. Provide nice stability for my ankles. I recommend.

I received these shoes one day after ordering. I love to shop at Zappos. I like their return policy. Returns are hassle free.

These shoes are ready to wear straight out of the box. No break in time needed. Finally a product that does what it says it does. My heel pain from plantar fasciitis was instantly reduced. Oh, the relief! I will definitely be buying more of this brand. One important issue, this shoe runs extremely large - at least one whole size larger than should be. I probably should have sent them back for a smaller size, but they felt too good to take off.

I generally take anywhere from an 8 to a 9 with a decent width. I ordered the 8.5/R It felt big (too much toe room) which was sorta OK, however the arch was not placed correctly due to the length. They felt pretty darn good anyway, but I decided to go with the 8/R. I'm on my feet for most of my shift and I need a stable supportive shoe. I'll update when I receive my new size.

Bought these for my daughter. I had been noticing her gait lately, her ankle has been turning in and causing some problems. I saw these shoes advertised and thought they might help her out. They certainly have improved her stance and gait. She loves 'em!

If you have wide feet I would not recommend these shoes. I wear a Wide/ Extra Wide and decided to try these shoes out. It felt tight and pinched my pinky toe.

I've been wearing these shoes for years now. I think I've purchased about 10 pairs. I put a lot of miles on my feet and I have neuropathy in my toes. These are really the only shoes I can wear that don't hurt me. The arch support is good. My feet don't move around in my shoes when I walk.

I really liked the look of this shoe . The fit of the length ,8 1/2 was good what I usually wear but the width was too narrow. I ordered the wide and need extra wide which it appears this brand does not offer. To be fair I do sometimes take extra wide depending on brand so if you wear a wide normally these would probably fit. The feel of the she was very nice,felt I had good support when walking around the house. I ordered 2 pair of shoes and these were my favorite, wish I could have kept them.

I have back, hip and knee problems. It is important for me to have arch support and just the right pressure on the heel. This shoe works for me. I love the fit as well as the look.

Not enough cushioning. Excellent heel and arch support but very rigid. Pinched toes when walked, shoes not pliable. If insert had some cushioning, would probably keep them.

My first pair of Orthaheel sneakers has been so satisfactory, I ordered a second pair. (I have high arches, wear size 8.5 W and use an orthotic in one shoe.) These great light weight shoes relieve pain in hip,knee and spine, enabling mobility that no other shoe has provided. I am now ordering a third pair in black. I have two comments: 1. The tongues slip to the side during wear. Either the shoe tongues are too short or the small shoelace strap is placed too low on the tongue to keep it in place. 2. If a light weight Orthaheel dress shoe with sneaker-height heel were available I would purchase it in every color!

I did not like these as well as the orthaheel sandals. Did not feel like the arch was supported as well as with the sandals.

Definitely order 1/2 to one size smaller. These run big! I normally wear a 7 1/2, and I ordered a 7W, and they are very roomy.I like that they are real leather. Arch support is definitely felt. Don't know how long I can walk in them feeling that arch.

I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and my Dr. made orthotics are so expensive, I decided to try these. They are nice looking, good arch support, but the inserts were a little bit hard. I added a padded insert and was good to go. My back and knee pain improved wearing these shoes. I would recommend these to others.

Very comfortable. Great arch support. My plantar fasciitis calmed down a lot. Not the best looking shoe though.

These felt odd when I first tried them on, and I wasn't sure about the way they felt on the bottom of my feet, but I'm glad I gave them a chance. I have very high arches, and my ankles will roll in if I don't get a high enough arch support. My foot adjusted to the way these feel quickly, and my knees and back immediately had less pain. I since injured my knee, which hurts, but the shoes are not making it worse, so that is nice. These look and feel great, fixing many of my foot issues, even after long, long days on my feet. I also thought they might be clunky, or ugly, as orthodic-type shoes often are, but they are nice, and lightweight. Wish there were more color options, but that is about it.
