This is a nice looking sandal, but the toe grip is very rough and uncomfortable. It does give good arch support, but not made for wide widths...would not buy again. Also too expensive for what it is.

The arch support is very good, but the straps were so loose the only thing keeping them on my foot when I took a step was the thong between my toes, so they were uncomfortable to walk in. one sandal seemed more loose, so I measured with a cloth tape and found the left outside strap was a full 1/2" longer than the right. for this price, they should be symmetrical. the straps attach to the outside of the footbed, not the top, which seemed to contribute to the sloppiness of the fit. Usually wear a 7-7 1/2, and got a 7 which was ok, an 8 would likely be too big. liked the color and style, but not a good fit for me, so regrettably they are being returned.

They look great, the ad on their site says to wear them on and off for a few days prior to let your foot get used to the arch support and heel cup. You have to do this! I do not have any supination, but this arch support almost makes my foot angle out. It was intense till I got used to it. Also, I hate when my feet get hot, so I don't know if these will work for me outside in the heat, they get warm just wearing them in the house. So they might be good indoor flips. I'll have to see when summer really hits.

I was told by my podiatrist to purchase a pair of Orthaheel sandals. The idea being that the high arch would assist me in taking the pressure off my toes when I walk. (My toes are beginning to curl under.) I followed the directions to wear them for a short time and build upon that time. I have broken in the shoes and can still only wear them for a short time. They roll my foot to the outside of the shoe and are still very uncomfortable. I now only wear them to the pool to slosh around before and after water aerobics. I cannot imagine wearing them on a trip with extensive walking. I bought an 8 but usually wear a size 8 1/2 or 9.

The shoe looks great. It is good quality and felt sturdy. I normally wear an 8 1/2 and ordered half size down to 8 as some reviewers suggested. The length/width felt fine. I wanted sandals with arch support and these definitely have it. They are just a little too significant for me. I wore them around the house for a few hours at a time, and just can not adjust. The sandal is flexible (to bend at toe), but they don't have a lot of cushion (I'm sure due to the firmness needed to maintain the arch support). Bottom line, I am returning them for a Spenco version that I tried on in a local store. If you wear orthotics and are used to this level of support, you will love them! If you are just an average arch looking for a little more support, they may be a bit much. Luckily Zappos has a great return policy.

This flip-flop needs some serious breaking in before use. Prior to trying these, I used Columbia's because they offered a little more support. You have to start out by wearing these an hour or so a day to get accustomed to them. The thong wasn't all that comfortable either in the beginning, even rubbing on the top of my foot where the thong meets the top strap. After a week of use, they became more comfortable and the thong and strap were sufficiently broken in. I do over-pronate, so I was looking forward to these, but was disappointed at how much time I had to spend getting accustomed to them and breaking them in. The biggest thing? I am not sure I've noticed a difference in how my feet feel or how my knees feel, which was one of the main reasons I bought these in the first place.

This sandal has a great arch support--equal to my orthotics. However, it would have been more comfortable if there were more support straps.

Bought these sandals on the recommendation of my chiropractor. Overall, the fit was perfect, but the straps were very loose around my foot and they flopped around a lot, were difficult to keep on my feet. Loved them otherwise, exchanging for another style.

I ordered a 7. I typically wear a 7 - 7.5. These were a little large even ordering a 1/2 size down. They are very wide too. The styling is actually cuter than it looks online. But, I had to return them. The top strap was very loose and I felt like I had to grab them to prevent them from sliding off.

I like the shoe, but did get blisters on both feet from the top of the shoe rubbing. On both feet the blisters were on the left side of the foot.

Maybe this works for some, but even with a medium-high arch I found it incredibly uncomfortable and unwearable. Like walking with a boulder under your arch, totally threw off my gait. Going back to Spenco sandals, good orthotics and mega-comfortable virtually from the start. Kinda cheap looking as well with the plastic dots on the footbed. Just not my idea of what I was looking for.

Based on hundreds of reviews I ordered these shoes and hoped for the best. I should have listened closer to the sizing as they really run small and the depth at the toe thong is not as deep as it could be for comfort. I originally ordered a size 9 for my normal 8½ to 9 size shoes but that was too tight. I returned them and ordered the size 10 (no half sizes) and this fit so much better, not only at the toe junction but also where the arch support was placed. I love the arch and heel support these offer. Buy bigger everybody unless you have very narrow and small feet.

The fit was good overall. Thong part is made of canvas this irritated and cut into the inside of my toes. Had to return them much to my dismay.

The foot bed of this flip flop is the best. The straps will rub your skin raw. They are made of some rough, durable material that has left me with sores on the tops of my feet where the material rubbed. If you have narrow or low volume feet, this is not the shoe for you. I gave mine to my friend who has wider feet and she loves them.

I purchased this shoe after seeing it on the Dr Oz show. I sufer from ongoing hee and leg pain, as I spend a lot of time on my feet. I love the look of this flip flop, and when I first put it on, I felt like it was hugging my foot. But after wearing it even for short periods of time, I felt that the arch was too high and started creating new pain in other parts of my foot, and I kept wanting to slide my arch down to make the shoe more comfortable. But it was too hard to walk like that! I'm sure this shoe does wonders if it fits right, but for me the arch was just too high.

Nothing wrong with these in particular, just thought that for the cost they would be more comfortable than they were. I agree that the toe post was scratchy and could cause problems with extended wear. Just not for me.

Although these flips feel great on my feet they have a particular sole that is extremely slippery on wet floors. I found out by unfortunate surprise when I took a giant flop (not the part of flip flop I had intended) on my tile floor where a few drops of water spilled from washing dishes. I tried them in several different places in the house and I experienced the same slippery effect. I even wiped the soles clean thinking I had soap underfoot. Nope. Had to return them. Be aware if you have tile floors, this may not be the footwear for you.

Although the arch was high and shape of the shoe was nice I had to send back because the base was just too heavy for a flip flop.

For me they were too wide and too stiff. I wanted something squishy. It did have excellent arch support, in fact, maybe a little too much for me.

Great sole but horribly uncomfortable strap was a deal breaker. Unless you wear socks with these or have callouses between your toes I have no idea how they would be comfortable. I tried them for a few hours at a time inside the house and got a blister!!

These are not what I wanted, but they do all right. They Kill your legs and feet for the first week or two. They are nice shoes but not for what you pay for them.

Unfortunately, I do not have a rave review for the sandals. They are rather pricey, but seem cheaply made. The strap does not sit snugly on my foot. There is a lot of extra room so when I walk I have to use my toes to grip the sandal so that they do not fall off. I feel if they were made with higher quality material and they were designed to fit a woman's foot better these shoes could be great.

I like the concept of these shoes, that they are orthopedic. My only complaint is that they are so loose on my feet. It feels like the straps are made for someone who has hugely fat feet. I don't, so they slop around when I walk. The length is accurate, but if you have average to narrow feet, they will feel very loose.

I have a mild form of plantar fascitis, and wearing unsupportive flip flops seems to make it flare up. So, I ordered these with the hope that they would provide a good amount of support without me having to wear my sneakers all the time. They certainly do have a lot of arch support. Too much for me. It was actually uncofortable for me to walk on. If you do overpronate or have a high arch, this flip flop is probably great for you. If you have an average arch and pronate normally, this may be too much and actually verge on uncomfortable.

I have to say that I really don't like these shoes. I have moderately flat feet and thought they would be great but I can only wear them for about an hour, I keep trying, hoping they will work but so far, no go.
