This ONE shoe SAVED MY LIFE....at least my walking life. After walking for over a year with pain on the TOPS of my feet, my doctor referred me to an orthopedic specialist who diagnosed my condition as "Pes Cavus." Translation....arches were collapsing. He wrote me a prescription for a pair of orthodics which I was required to wear in very expensive new shoes for six consecutive weeks, while also doing PT three times a week for twelve weeks. He assured me that at the end of this course of treatment I should feel some relief. I did not, in spite of doing everything I was told to do. I ordered the Tide shoe twice. The first time, I sent it back because I felt it was "too different" and that I'd never get used to them. One day I walked into a shoe store for problem feet, and the owner/saleswoman was wearing the Tides. I told her I bought them, but returned them. She convinced me to give them another try and I am so glad I listened to her. I wore them inside the house for several weeks with gradually increasing comfort. I am happy to report, that for the first time I am walking pain free....apparently the arch support provides exactly the right support for me, and I feel I have a new lease on life. I am walking again, able to exercise again...and I couldn't be more relieved and pleased with the results. Just so you know, I've spent a FORTUNE on other shoes...Birkis, Mephistos, and Naots...many many pairs....no relief till my Tides. THANK YOU ORTHOHEEL.

These flip flops are great! You get the benefit of wearing an orthotic and still have the comfort of an open shoe! Will buy them in different colors!

Loved them right out of the box! I had never tried Orthoheels and purchased these solely based on reviews here. I put them on and was confident enough to take them off and pack them directly into my suitcase for the next day's trip to Vegas! They did not disappoint. Unlike some other reviewers, I did not require break in time; maybe because I'm used to Spencos, or because my aching feet fell right in line! Walked all over Vegas strip without any problem. I live in Orlando and wear flip flops year round. Those of you who are in the same category know that doesn't mean comfy beach living-- it means walking on a lot of concrete and tile, very little carpeting, and the need for supportive flip flops instead of the cute, flat beach thongs. These do the job.

I am happy with these sandals. They help my feet to be in the correct alignment to walk properly. They run big, I wear a 10 1/2. I bought a Size 10 and they are just a little big.

I have replaced most of my shoes with Orthaheel shoes and sandals, and these I purchased for my daughter. She has worn flip-flops for years, is only 30, and is having heel and foot pain. She noticed a difference in one day. These are better than going barefoot! I highly recommend Tide - do order one size smaller. I wear a 9 or 9 1/2, and the 8 in this shoe is perfect.

Not very pretty but great for my feet. Since wearing them around the house I don't have pain on my instep. I have title floors.

I was diagnosed with heel bone spurs and plantar fasciitis. I love flip flops but could no longer wear them so I read the reviews from others on the Orthaheel Tide and I decided to give them a try. Oh what great relief, my pain slowly went away and I had me some flip flops. I wear these every day and can't live without them, I'm already on my 2nd pair. I also love the Orthaheel shoe inserts. I have even gotten my husband and son wearing the inserts and they love them too. I need to mention that it does take time to get use to wearing these but don't stop - continue to wear them and you will eventually love them.

I've had knee surgery on both knees and my right ankle is now arthritic. I wear orthodics in my shoes but I really like to wear thongs during the summer. These thongs are awesome. They are stylish, properly sized and ample in width. It's so nice to have a supportive footbed that's washable. I'll wear these all summer!

Purchased these sandals once I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. These were the only shoes that helped me walk pain free. These sandals are extremely comfortable and stylish, even for those not suffering from plantar fasciitis. I have received many compliments on these sandals and have even had friends & family members order them. I would definitely purchase another pair!

Amazingly comfortable! Zappos replaced my Soles flip shoes (which they no longer carry) when they broke with this one. Even better than the Soles. No break-in needed and my back doesn't hurt when I wear these. What a relief for someone who just can't wear normal flip flops without serious foot and back pain.

I love my Orthaheel sandals. This is my second pair. I never need a break in time. I just wore them to Disney with my 5 year grandson, feet and legs felt great. Only 1 thing is the insole seems to wear down quick.

Pricey, if you consider it a basic flip flop. Actually so much better than a basic flip flop. Great arch support. Super comfortable. Nice and wide, so I sized down. Normally wear a 6.5 and bought a 6.

Ordered these in size 7 as I am a European size 38 and they were huge. Called customer service on their chat line and they were amazing, immediately sent me out for next day delivery a size 6 without charging me, just requested I return the 7's. Been wearing them 2 days now and they are very comfortable and look great. Will definitely be ordering more shoes from Zappos as their service was so good.

I can't say enough about these sandals! I wore them all summer (beach, gym, everyday) to make sure they were comfortable enough to take on vacation and they haven't worn out at all. I took them on vacation where I literally walked for miles on a daily basis in them throughout cobblestone streets of various cities in Italy and they never, ever once hurt my feet! The arch support initially took some getting used to but I broke them in gradually and now they are my all-time favorite sandal.

So glad these sandals were available to me. I was diagnosed with plantar fascia and had a very difficult time walking. These shoes made it possible to get around comfortably while my foot healed. Super arch and heel support, and they are very light-weight. I bought a second pair in black. I took the advice posted on-line and bought a 1/2 size smaller. I normally wear an 8.5 and the size 8 fit perfectly.

I highly recommend these shoes if you have bad hips, knees or ankles. They help all of my joints be in the right place for easier walking! Orthaheels will be the only type of shoe I'll ever wear from now on!

Ahhhh! That's how my feet felt. I bought these to replace my non-orthopedic flip flops that had zip arch support. These are comfortable and cute for flip flops.

Super comfortable. More supportive than any other flip-flops. If you're between sizes, I'd recommend going 1/2 size down.

Very comfy! Great arch support. They are casual so I wear these when running errands or just strolling around the neighborhood.

Excellent arch support! I live in these and even wear them around the house. I did get a bit of blistering under the straps but they seem to be breaking in finally.

These are very comfortable and work well with those suffering from Plantars Fascitis.

Love these shoes! Very high arch support which is really helping with my plantar fasciitis. I initially had some arch pain because they are so high, and got blisters in between toes. After sticking it out and breaking them in (and letting my foot adjust) for 3-4 days, they were perfect. These are the only shoes I want to wear. More supportive than the orthotic inserts I got from my podiatrist. Wish they made these in women's dress shoes so I could wear them to work! I do wish they made them in narrow, but the width is still manageable even though I have narrow/slender feet.

These are perfect. I have high arches and have a tough time with flip-flops. I wore these for a week in Hawaii with no issues. I am probably going to have to buy the black ones too.

This little sandal looks like it may be nothing, but it is fabulous! I have plantar fasciitis and these saved me this summer. I can't believe the difference in going barefoot or wearing other, good quality flip flops, and these! I wear them even now in the cold weather as my support while at home. They are well worth the money.
