These are really great shoes. I have had Plantar Fasciitis for years and recently developed bunions. The only shoes that don't make my feet hurt have been Birkenstocks, but my doctor recently told me they weren't the best kind, so I came to Zappos site in search of something else. I really like these shoes! They provide a lot of arch support, and they don't look dorky! The part between the toes hurts on one of my feet for a little while because a knotted thread was right where it met my skin, but I mushed it around with my hand, and it is fine now. I'd recommend these shoes.

I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for a long time, and almost always have to wear my gym shoes with custom orthotics. But I hurt my achilles this summer, and the back of my gym shoe was causing me terrible pain when I wore them. I was practically crippled for much of the summer - limping along in terrible pain. Flat shoes made the fasciitis worse and gym shoes made the achilles pain unbearable. I was in tears when I started googling for shoes with good support. I bought these HOPING they would be as good as everyone said. THEY ARE! The arch is so firm and supportive I LOVE IT! I felt a difference within a day or so, and now I want to buy more and more of these shoes! I wish they had more "professional" styles, but I can deal with it. Some folks talked about the arch being hard, and that is the point. My sister-in-law tried on this sandal and she thought the arch was way too high and too hard. But she does not have the foot problems I do. So for me, they were a blessing.

These sandals have saved my life! I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis for months and tried all of the following: Earth Shoes (negative heel), myofascial release treatments, foot reflexology, stretches morning and night, night splint boots (two different styles), and trying to stay off my feet and rest! I have had little success with any of these other methods, some relief with the night splints but I also found them difficult to sleep in since I have insomnia problems already without things strapped to my feet. As soon as I put these sandals on I felt some instant relief (not 100 percent, but some) and after about a week of wearing them my feet feel pain free! My only complaint is that they do not have half sizes and I really would prefer an 8½ and I do find most of the styles still look a little "chunky" not like the slim-lined sandals that I would prefer. But, I put that easily behind me when I can walk pain free! I do find that as soon as I switch into other shoes the pain returns. So obviously it is not a permanent fix. But I keep these right next to my bed and literally step out of bed into them. I just ordered the insoles to put in my riding boots because every time I spend an hour at the ranch in my boots the pain comes right back. So my boots now have Orthaheel insoles which I will review separately in the future. This winter, I will probably add on their slippers and a closed-toe shoe as well! I am not sure if I want to spend one day out of these things.

I have plantar fasciitis and I have finally found a pair of sandals I can wear all day long comfortably! Love these!

I have Plantar Fasciitis. After reading all of the good things in the reviews, I purchased them. I am so glad that I did. Love them. Took some getting used to, as I heard others say, but my feet don't even hurt, when wearing them.

I have a heel spur and got these orthaheel tide, they were perfect fit & really felt good on my feet. It was the best money I have spent on flip flops.

The absolute best flipflop ever! I have flat feet plus my left ankle tends to turn in (pronation) and I couldn't wear any flip flop for very long without having pain for hours afterward. When I found out about Orthaheel Tide it wasn't only for their looks but so comfortable. Yes, it took a few days to 'break in' because of the arch but after that, they are so comfortable. I love Orthaheels!

Heel pain is gone! I am ordering another pair so I can keep one for indoors wearing on the hardwood floors and the other for outdoors. Worth every penny for the arch support and foot/ankle realignment.

Very comfy. As manufacturer states, takes a little getting used to the high arch support but never uncomfortable at all!

I love my shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes really help. They are very comfortable. I have purchased several pairs in different colors over the last few years and don't know what I would do without them in warm weather. I always order one size smaller than reg shoe size which is what they recommend for women!

Absolutely love these shoes! This is my fourth pair. I have flat feet and find that I no longer have the lower back pain common to other shoes or orthotics. Would love to see a deal where you buy so many and get one free (BOGO).

These sandals are great. I have a narrow foot but they fit fine. They have great arch support and my plantar fasciitus pain has been relieved.

Recently, I saved gas money and time by ordering the Orthaheel Tide in a women's size 8. I love these shoes and Zappos was the perfect way to buy them. Not only was the shipping free but if I was unhappy with the shoes, a box was included that would allow me to ship them back for free. The postage was on the inside of the box. I was thrilled with the shoes and I'm wearing them as I type this review. Zappos is the way to shop for shoes!

These shoes have excellent arch support. I have plantar fascia issues and these have really helped me transition from walking around in my bare feet to using the Orthaheel.

Orthaheel Tide are the best shoes I have owned. I can walk in them for hours, they are attractive and easy to clean. For the first several days, the strap between my toes made painful sores. Using moleskin pieces on the inter-toe areas got me past this. Arch support and posture alignment are superbg. Simply put, these are my warm weather mainstay.

At first I was doubtful about these shoes because they were not soft and cushiony like my other flip-flops. But the more I wore them the better I liked them. In fact, I became addicted to these shoes and slipped my feet into them the minute that I stepped out of bed in the mornings, and I ended up wearing these all day. I have been experiencing some heel pain and these help tremendously. I love these flip-flops!

Fabulous fit and comfort. I ordered the Pewter. On the web-site they look like a light silvery gray, however, in person, they are a dark gray. I order a lot of shoes from Zappos and very consistently the colors are true.

I have high arches and suffer from plantar fascitis. My foot doctor recommended orthaheel flip flops because I hate to wear tennis shoes in the summer especially in the house. I bought the Tide flip flops I love them. The support is amazing and they took very little time getting used to them. I feel the size is true but the width feels a little loose. I'm not sure if it is enoungh to be able to go down to a narrow width. I normally wear a medium or wide with. I plan to buy the slippers soon. The only drawback of the orthaheels is the price. I would by several pair of sandals if they weren't so expensive.

Best sandal I've ever owned! Back and hip pain were gone within a week, and it definitely helped alleviate my plantar fasciitis pain.

I had been wearing Crocs for a year, loved the "squishy" feel of them under my feet, but the lack of support for my pronated right foot left me with mis-aligned hips and increasing lower back pain. These sandals are not "squishy" but do provide excellent arch support. They have been approved by my osteopath who said my hips become nicely aligned when I am wearing them. I am still working on the lower back pain but it is improving. Ended up buying the Orthaheel slippers and a pair of their shoes too.

These sandals are wonderful, I have 3 pair in various colors. They make my back, hips, knees and ankles feel great!

I love these sandals so much that I bought two pairs, one for the house, and one for the dirty NY streets. These are comfy beyond measure.

These are the best! I even forget I have plantar fasciitis as I can walk in these all day and not have sore feet at night. I have four pair (four colors) and I'll probably order more. Please don't ever change this sandal!

These shoes are great! I wore them through Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York City. My feet and ankles did not hurt at all. They are exactly what I was looking for and they do not look orthotic.
