I wanted to find the perfect summer sandel with support. This pair of flip flops are perfect with comfort, support and true to size. It does take a day or so to get used to them.

I was told to never wear thongs again and finally I can! Great support! I loved these shoes for the first few weeks, then the arch support broke down. The only other negative thing I can say is that the rubber soles make your feet sweat and the shoes stink after awhile. Overall, it's a great shoe and I just wish the support lasted longer!

Flat feet/PTTD issues. These have great arch support and I think they are pretty good looking too. I was afraid they would look grandpa like. The band is a bit wide. They are woman's shoes so it seems they should make the band fit the foot a bit tighter, comfortable and just what I was looking for though in a casual arch supporting flip flop.

These shoes are for the overpronater of which I am not. I do have high arches but there was way too much arch support in these shoes for me. Sadly I am still on my quest for comfortable flip flops.

Great arch support, but the toe divider is too short for my foot.

The Orthaheels have a very comfortable footbed, but with my narrow feet, I cannot keep them on when walking. I may look for a style with a strap around the back that doesn't look like an "old lady" sandal.

Definitely seems larger than marked - one full size. This is not a great shoe, but at least it is one of the only flip flops that is actually designed with some support. Could be cuter, but they are heading in the right direction.

I am an huge fan of Orthaheel Tides for my PF and have worn them for a few years now. This year I decided to restock my flip flops with a few new colors. Sad to say they are not the same as past years. They are making them narrower and not as much arch support. I wear a 7.5 to an 8 in regular shoes and usually wear a 7 in the Tides. My new 7s are going back and hopefully the 8s will fit. I am frustrated since there are so few sandals out there for those of us who need high arch support. I am still giving them 4 stars since they do have arch support...just not like the past.

Decent arch support for someone with planter fasciitis. Disappointed in that sides of shoe where glued came undone and separated from the sole a little. Shoes which were correct snugness suddenly got much looser as a result. Not bad enough to come off your feet but a drag after only 5 wearings. Very casual style which can't be dressed up at all.

I really, really want to like these sandals. I have a very high arch and high instep, plus I've developed plantar fascitis. I normally weat 8.5 to 9 in a sandal. I ordered these in a 9 since half sizes are not available. Although the arch and heel area seem to fit properly, there is a full inch or so sticking out beyond my toes. Almost no one mentions in their reviews that the shoe runs large for them so I'm very surprised to find that they are too long for me. I may exchange for an 8, but I fear it may be too small. An 8.5 would probably be perfect, but they don't make half sizes. I can only give them 3 stars at this point because I can't wear them.

I have four other pairs of Orthaheels and wear them frequently most of the year. My feet are wide with a high arch and instep. Some of their styles are too narrow, but Kinetic, Wave, Talia and Tide are wide enough. I ordered the Coral, loved the color and the fit was good. The composition of the soles are harder than the other styles I own, too hard to be comfortable. My foot problems require extra padding and these did not provide it and are going back. The most comfortable of Orthaheel styles is the Kinetic. They are great for shorts or the beach, but are too masculine-looking for skirts.

The fabric is very rought and scrapes between toes and top of foot. The food bed is excellent and helps exercise legs in a new way. I will keep them and use with band-aids.

Recently developed a little plantar fasciitis, and thought I could find an easy sandal that might help. Received these unbelievably fast from Zappos who continue to amaze me with the customer service every time, but they don't feel good enough to warrant the price, frankly. I have some old Chacos that feel better, so back they go. They are cushy and stable, but the thong wasn't great, and they might run a tad small - I'm technically a 10.5, but 10s work all the time, and while I'm not returning these for a size-related issue, if you are on the plus-side of your size, consider sizing up in these.

These feel good fitting my foot w/ strong instep. However, they are very stiff and take some getting used to.

I purchased this sandal on the recommendation of a fellow foot problem sufferer who said the orthotic foot bed worked better than custom orthotics. Unfortunately, the arch support hit my arch in a funny place and did not conform to my foot contour. I am returning this pair; have ordered and received the Orthaheel Kinetic and it is working much better.

I tried on a pair at the physical therapists' office and loved the support. I ordered a pair and tried wearing them around the house but they just were not comfortable. The piece between the toes rubbed my toe raw and the thong itself felt too heavy. I loved the arch support, though, and I will keep searching for the perfect fit! I wear 7½ and ordered an 8. They fit in length but they felt loose. I am bummed that they did not work and will have to return them. I was surprised that with Zappos, it took so long for them to get here.

I was really hoping these would work out because my feet are a mess (plantar faciitis and achilles tendonitis), but unfortunately, these shoes seem to run a little small. Not only in size and width, but I have a high instep and the straps were very tight. Normally I would have confidence that the straps would stretch out with wear, but they are so tight I don't think they will ever stretch enough for a comfortable fit. On the up side, the arch support does seem to be really good, so if you have an average size foot, these would be great. Just a note for other women with wide feet, I also tried the unisex Wave style thinking the straps would be a little more generous for a man's foot, but that's not the case. I'll have to return those as well.

I have plantar fasciitis and need shoes with great arch support. Usually have luck with this brand but the thong part between the toes, was too hard and wide. Really hurt feet and caused painful red markings. Don't recommend this style.

Found the new "navy" color arch is much higher than previous tide models...will be returning, too intense for my feet.

I am so disappointed! I was really looking forward to my Orthaheel flops since I love my Orthaheel slippers. Unfortunately, the band that goes between the toes was not centered quite right and made my second tow red and sore after just a few minutes of trial wear around the house. Same for the Allegres. Such a bummer because other than that they were great. I ordered size 8 when I normally wear an 8 1/2 or 9 and the length and width were perfect. Back to the drawing board for summer footwear for my plantar fasciitis!

Tide is the most comfortable Orthaheel I've tried -- and I've tried a lot due to plantar fasciitis. Good for casual warm weather wear. Downside -- way too casual for work. The fabric lining makes it way more comfy and less prone to cause blisters than any other Orthaheel sandal. Wonder why they don't add that lining to some of their dressier faux leather sandals? Also, for those of us who live where temps regularly get above 100 degrees (welcome to Texas), this sandal doesn't have any metal parts that come into contact with your foot, which is not the case with the other dressier Orthaheel sandals. This is clearly designed by Yankees who have never had their skin burned by metal that gets hot baking in the Texas sun.

I really wanted to like them since they are simple flip flops with arch support, but the straps were too tight. For reference I wear Birkenstock in 37 wide, and 38 in Dansko, the length of the 8 in this shoe was perfect. Wish they came in wide. :(

The photo shows this lighter than the color is; pewter is descriptive, so is medium-dark grey. The arch is quite high. I usually wear a 38 but the 7 was the right size in this.

I love Orthaheel shoes but not this one! The piece between the toes is too rough and uncomfortable.
