This is the second pair of these shoes I have purchased. They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I have some knee issues and I purchased these before taking a 3 week tour abroad that would involve a lot of walking. The shoes were great and cushioned the shocks to my knees.The support for the arches was terrific. They are better than any New Balance or Nike's that I have owned before.

I read online elsewhere that these are the top rated walking shoes for men. I ordered a pair in my usual shoe size, despite advice in other reviews that they run small/large (how can that be?) and found that happily, they fit wonderfully. Maybe they will feel narrow, but I believe it's just the added support. Great for fast walking. Wish I could wear them to work. I did decide to change to elastic laces to get them on & off quickly, and they are now my favorite go-to footwear for everything from dog-walking to hiking.

I did some research on a good walking shoe and found this one. I did a local search and no stores within 20 miles of my house had it - or even carried walking shoes! Went to Zappos and of course they had them in stock and was on my doorstep the next day. Thank you Zappos for doing what you do!

This much for a walking shoe? Money well spent, folks -- these are, by far and away, the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever had in my entire life! It is like being in love for the first time -- you know the feeling when you are walking on air? Very much like that! I walked all over NYC for several days straight and felt nothing, but joy. I highly recommend these.

I go out every morning for an hour of fast walking. I have tried several different shoes, but these are by far the best walking shoes I have ever owned. The mesh exterior allows for both comfort and ventilation, and the cushioning in the bottom of the shoe gives exactly the right amount of support without being rigid. Excellent shoe; I highly recommend it for walking.

My first Asics purchase. Fast 2-day delivery! Able to use right out of the box! Very comfortable and lightweight. No adjustment problems whatsoever. Strongly recommend.

Great, lightweight walking shoes with good support. They are perfect for walkers who move at a fast pace but do not need the extra support of heavier shoes. I was wearing New Balance 1200s, which I loved, but NB seems to have abandoned this niche in walking shoes.

This is a great shoe! I walk 3-4 miles every day and was having some ankle and hip pain prior to purchasing these shoes. They provide plenty of shock-absorption and stabilize my foot well. As always, Zappos' service is great and they arrived within a couple of days. Fit is good for average-wide feet.

Loved my first experience with Zappo's. Shoes were as expected, the service was really special, everything was on time and the price was fair. See you again when I need another pair of shoes.

Fits well and are very comfortable. I wear them for everyday use as well as walking and the are working out well for me.

A nice shoe. The offset laces actually work really well and are very comfortable. It does run narrow though, especially in the heel. It has a stiff plastic embedded into the back part of the shoe that dug into the side of my heel and I had to go a full size up to stop it.

Bio-Morphic design and Asymmetrical lacing are my issues. The shoes look "dorky". I'm keeping them though. When I got them I thought it was a manufacturing defect. The lacing was not "centered" and was positioned over towards the inside of each shoe. As far as the "function" of Bio-morphic and Asymmetrical lacing-- it WORKS ! My other shoes worked too though without these design "enhancements". Folks. They look dorky but they are comfortable. You decide.

This shoe is adorable. Heel is interesting and not too high. Sadly they are too small. I will return for a 7.

Like the way these shoes look but when tried on, they feel too narrow when compared to a similar pair of white Asics shoes (Q110L(D) I bought just prior to these new Q100N shoes. The 10.5 size is fine but the width is definitely tighter and this pair is missing a width indicator, (D). (Since the (D) width indicator is missing, is it possible that I was sent the wrong width size?) I like the style and color of these Q100N shoes but am not willing to order a similar replacement shoe unless it is a guaranteed (D) width. I will select another style/brand if a (D) width Q100N is not available.

These shoes are comfortable enough, but nothing particularly special. No more comfortable, for example, than my old K-Swiss tennis shoes, which I used to use for walking. The front part of the Asics shoe, in particular, seems a little thin and less padded than I was hoping for.

Good looking shoe (given that most modern shoes have too much decorative stuff; I'm a "less is more" guy) that was much narrower than all other shoes this size I've ever worn.

These are good fitting and comfortable shoes. However, they tend to break thru the mesh at the big toe area. I have had 2 pair and both have done the same thing. If you are going to wear just recreational, they will be fine.

These are very comfortable walking shoes. I just tried a pair of Ecco Biom walking shoes at twice the price and returned them to get another pair of these.

I have found this to be a very good walking shoe. I don't know if I would rate it as the number 1 top walking shoe, as Consumer Reports did. But I have been very satisfied with it.

Good looking and well made shoe, but too little room in the toe box for my comfort, sadly.

Toe tread began to separate after 8 months. Otherwise comfortable. I would rate these as slightly below average durability.

I took up running in 1977. After experimenting with several brands (Nike, Etonic, New Balance, Saucony), I settled on Asics because its shoes best accommodated my rigid orthotics. In the last three years, I have been doing a lot more walking. After reading a review of the Gel Tech Walker Neo 2, I decided to give them a try. I'm a little disappointed with the shoe. My first issue is that my orthotics just don't comfortably fit in the shoes. Secondly, I was surprised that part of the comfort problem may stem from a sizing error on my part. I have always worn a size 9.5, but the shoes. feel tight. I am now wearing the shoes without orthotics; however, I have not noticed a significant increase in comfort.

I purchased on sale, so the price was correct. A good Asics product, but not enough cushioning for my needs. Probably won't buy again.
