My wife and I both purchased a pair of these shoes to wear on our first trip to the Grand Canyon. We selected these shoes based on a strong recommendation from a friend. These shoes were fantastic. They were super comfortable when worn with a pair of wool hiking socks and provided sure footing as we hiked down into the canyon. I would note that we did not have an opportunity to test the "waterproofness" of these shoes, but my friend swore by them based on crossing several creeks on past hikes.

These are the best walking shoes I have ever owned. I ordered this pair to replace the Moab waterproof pair I have worn daily to walk my dog for the last two years. They are truly waterproof; I live in Seattle and these shoes have been in the rain at least half of the time I have worn them and are still keeping my feet dry. They are very comfortable - good support and padding, roomy toe box. I wore these out of the box and have never had a blister, sore feet, etc. If I found out they were phasing these out, I would order ten more pairs to keep in reserve! A must for wet weather dog walkers!

I bought these for a vacation in Alaska this year. Extremely comfortable and waterproof. Have been wearing to break in and love them.

This is my first pair of Merrells and I will be back! I love them! I was sick of my traditional snow boots, so bought these because I liked the look and they are waterproof! I have worn them every day since receiving them. They are great in snow, ice and slush, and my feet stay nice and dry. I ordered a size 8 1/2, which is the size I normally wear in a sneaker-type shoe. They fit me perfectly! I will be ordering more Merrells!

Just purchased my third pair of these. My first pair was back in 2009. They are my go-to shoes for my daily walks and short hikes. No break-in period for me - comfortable right out of the box.

These are great shoes. I bought them for long walks in the trails with my dogs that have to go out rain or shine. I have had several other pairs of Merrell's before and my only problem I would have with this pair is that they are stiff. They are slowly loosening up. I'm sure they will be fine once I break them in.

These are nice sturdy shoes that are stiff enough for hiking. I had to order a full size up from my regular shoe size in order to wear thin socks and not feel like my toes were being crowded. I like the blue accents on the dusty olive color shoes. I have arthritis in one toe so finding closed toe shoes that do not kill my feet is tricky. These have a wider toe box.

These are excellent day hikers and good for walking in snow. I have had three pairs of similar Merrells over the years. I just used this pair for several hikes in Patagonia! I prefer this style as the sole is heavier and stiffer for hiking.

I love the shoes. My only slight problem with them are the laces. Because I have a high instep I found them a bit too short. Therefore I had to replace them. Because of the laces I would give the shoes a 4.9' rating. They certainly are waterproof and I like the looks.

I have to write something! I am a mail carrier, I love these shoes! They are warm and dry! They could use a little cushioning for the insole but they are so worth every penny!

Comfortable right out of the box, fit perfectly and surprisingly light. Very happy with these shoes.

Comfort, comfort, comfort, from the 1st day. No breaking-in period. Sturdy but not heavy. Husband has men's pair, and he loves his, too. Runs small, so order up 1/2 size.

A typical Merrell shoe. Comfy from day One; no break-in time needed. My old Merrell's have lasted far longer than any shoe and were still going strong (minus a LOT of miles of tread).

These are so very comfortable and supportive, great walking shoes in all weather. You feel that you can do anything.

These shoes are awesome and give me so much stability. I wish I had got them a year ago. They are so comfortable. In order to keep the shoe strings tied you do need to double knot them but overall I love these shoes!

I ordered these prior to a Canadian Rockies trip where I intended to do some moderate hikes--like 5K lengths. The elevation got in my way, but rain, snow and slopes also caused unanticipated discomfort. These shoes were perfect! I did not break them in at home, but wore them constantly on our eight day trip. I felt sure of my footing (I'm in my 60's) and stayed dry and warm. They were 100% comfortable. They only come in Medium width and I take wide, but these worked even with socks. A little pricey but worth every sent.

This is my second pair of the Moab's. I bought the second pair just in case Merrell stopped making the same boot. They are immediately comfortable. They wear like iron. My foot doctor recommended them for a condition called hallux rigidus. The boots have helped a lot with the pain.

These shoes are amazing. They are sturdy and comfortable. I wore them nonstop on a hiking trip in Peru and my feet felt great the whole time. They have great traction. They were a great buy. I am generally a 7.5 and an 8 felt perfect.

I recently ordered my fifth pair! because I wear these shoes everyday. My feet are in great shape for a 54 year old active woman, largely due to wearing well built and comfortable shoes for my stride and pronating feet. The waterproofing aspect of these shoes has gotten me through the puddles and rain without a problem. These are my absolute favorite shoes! My neighbor also bought a pair, although she wears fashionable shoes on a daily basis these are her go-to shoes for recreational hiking with high marks for these shoes as well. The shoes are well built and hold up to brutal abuse with my constant activity. Believe it or not, I get compliments on the attractive look of these shoes.

Performed perfectly! Very comfortable and rugged. Looking forward to using these for hikes in the woods, snow & ice days & anything in between. Ordered same size as running shoes (1 size bigger than every day shoes).

I love these shoes! So worth the extra money for the waterproof version. I use them for hiking and I hiked through some streams and my feet were kept dry! They are very comfortable too.

I bought these shoes for a trip to South Africa and I absolutely loved them! They are so comfortable and supportive my feet felt like they were on little clouds. I highly recommend these shoes to everyone!

I tested these right out of the box on a four mile challenging hike and they were so comfortable and supportive. They are not too heavy and provide great padding. It felt like I had a lot of cushioning. This is my first pair of Merrells and I am impressed. I highly recommend them.

Amazingly comfortable; keep feet super dry and just did about 14 miles of hiking and no problem these shoes are incredible!

I work in a garden center, I was looking for comfort and dry feet. I found it in these shoes. they are great. If you wear thick socks go up a size.
