OMG comfie! I have never tried on a shoe and wished I could leave it on forever. I mean seriously, I am a barefoot girl. Unfortunately, it was only the right foot that felt so fabulous, it seems that my left foot is slightly larger than my right one. I think I will try the next size up. These are wonderful!

I wore these inside for a few hours one day, then on a pretty strenuous (lots of climbing, up and down) hike the next. They felt great, no blisters or discomfort. I have high insteps and wide feet. I do think these run a little small. My feet got pretty hot in them, but that might be because I generally wear retired running shoes which have a lot of ventilation.

I bought this shoe because I have problems with my heels and I needed a shoe that has good arch support and heel cushioning. I was able to walk 3 miles without any problem with these shoes right out of the box. I bought the waterproof version because I walk a lot in San Francisco, CA and Portland, OR.

Returning because the footbed is narrow and not cushioned, the upper is cushioned unnecessarily. I'm used to putting on a new pair of Merrells and feeling like I'm walking on a cloud. Not these.

Very comfortable, light weight. I like them because they fit snugly and yet provide enough space in the toe area. I haven't been able to check the waterproof feature yet. This is the second pair of Merrell shoes I have purchased this year and both have worked well.

Great fit, no need to break in. I have a lighter weight pair of Merrrells that I have worn for years, and they are finally wearing in the tread. These are a great follow-up. My feet are more on the narrow side, but these M still fit, and the lacing allows for a snug fit. Wore them for the first time out yesterday, hiking on a steep and wet trail my feet were happy! And the great tread resulted in no slipping. Yeah Merrells! Never will I look for a different brand of hiking shoes...

I needed waterproof hikers for a trip that might include wet days. After a few other tries, I saw another reviewer had found these worked because she need a wider toe box but normal heel. I found the wide widths were much to large in the heel like the other reviewer. These do fit with lighter hiking socks. It is a bit tight with medium thick wool hiking socks. I did switch out the insole for one that has metatarsal support. They are comfortable all day! I like the neutral colors.

These are so comfortable with great support. My orthotic foot pads fit right in. I have worn them in the pouring rain and my feet stayed nice and dry. I am really pleased with them - they are performing better than expected.

I was skeptical about these at first because of the narrow toe box. I take a 7, ordered a 7 1/2, perfect, toe box didn't bother me at all. I was in snow country, they kept my feet warm and dry, plus they were very, very comfortable. I had ordered a pair of Merrell skidproof clogs for the trip, they were so uncomfortable, I would love to return them but since I wore them for one day, I don't think that is possible. But I love the Moab Waterproof, perfect right out of the box. Only thing I would change is the shoelaces....they are round, I tied double bow to keep from coming apart! :)

These are very comfortable. I wore them out of the box for a 6 mile hike and they were great. I had returned keen voyageurs which were klunky and got these instead. Good decision. I am usually a keen wearer, but I am happier with these. I sized up a whole size. Usually wear a 5 but the 6 in this shoe was perfect.

Good hiking shoe. Lightweight and wore right away for hiking without any issues. Not as comfortable as my sneakers, but waterproof and more protective and better grip. Great for the type of hiking that sneakers are not good enough for.

These are my long-time favorite hikers. I am on my sixth pair. I always go up a half size from my street-shoe size to reduce the push against toes on the downhills. Zappos service is outstanding.

I just received these shoes as a Christmas present to myself. I needed something with lace up and a sturdy sole that I can tread through lava beds and water, too. This shoe is the most comfortable shoe I've ever put on since Nike made the Lava Dome in the 1980's. The women's specific insole cushions the foot. Although I've only worn it for one day, I already went for a 2 mile walk with my dog on Christmas day in snow and ice and it performs beautifully. I have a narrow heel but need a larger toe box. This fit the bill, as they say. I ordered a size 9/size 40 European.

My last pair of this same style lasted 4 years of hiking approx 4 miles twice a week. I ordered the same style only this time ordered the waterproof style. Most of the friends I hike with also have this style of Merrells.

I love these shoes. I had to buy this new pair because one of my dogs ran off with one and it is not to be found! It is all good though they needed to be replaced because the shoes were so worn out. This pair feel just like my old pair. They are very comfortable and are easy to wear. I wear a size 7 and bought a 7. They fit perfectly and I wore them all day on the first day.

Super-comfortable and breathable. I bought 1 size larger than my bare feet, so heavyweight Smartwool Merino wool socks fit. The socks wick the sweat and the shoes let the moisture out great. Excellent traction, great cushioning, and love reflective touches in stitching for safety. Great shoes in every way!

I have serious foot problems and these Merrell shoes are the most comfortable and supportive shoes that exceed all others! This is my second pair and the quality is now higher since they have waterproofed the shoe. Zappos has the best price and selection.

I hike a couple of times a week in the hills in the San Francisco Bay Area and wanted new hiking shoes for the, hopefully, wet winter. There is no rain yet to confirm how water proof they are. However, they are super comfortable right out of the box. I hiked 4 miles with no blisters or sore feet.

I really like these boots. They are great for hiking. I usually wear a size 9 but I bought a 9 1/2 and they fit great.

Purchased these for hiking in northern Arizona/southern Utah. Comfortable from day one. Best purchase I made for this trip.

Finally a shoe that is so comfortable..after trying several shoes, thanks to Zappos. Great arch support and true to size. Can't wait to put them to the test in wet conditions.

I just love everything about these shoes. Color, fit and style are great. I bought them to replace the last pair I finally wore out after about 7 or 8 years of pretty hard use! Nothing like putting on a pair of shoes that feel like they were made just for you!

This is my 5th pair and I replace them out about every 500 hiking miles. Honestly, they look perfectly fine after the 500 miles, but the cushioning tends to get a little flat after all those miles. I love the fit and love the fact that they need virtually no break in period. I put them on and do a 5 miler in the woods with the dogs and they feel wonderful. No rubs, no blisters. Excellent shoe for fall, winter trail hiking. I recently was hiking in the rain and slipped and fell and broke my arm - the one time I did not have these shoes on and went out with just my sneakers - dumb move.

Great hiking shoe. These shoes are incredibly comfortable! The color is a dark pink/burgundy...just enough to make them look feminine, but not too girly. I always wear a size 8 in every type of shoe I buy. For these, I recommend a half-size up and then they are perfect!

I prefer a low cut hiker and these are pretty nice. They fit week, aren't too hot for the Colorado Rockies, where I live. I've also worn then for desert hiking and wasn't disappointed. They grip the rock well and sliding on scree is held to a minimum. I wish the footbed was a little thicker or harder. I feel more rock underfoot than I'd like. My Teva sandals handle rocky trails with more comfort.
