Love this shoe. Super light and flexible. My toes feel so free and no blisters. If you have never run in barefoot or very flat running shoes please be sure to build your distance slowly. Too far, too fast, too soon can result in very painful legs.Great for gym work outs too.

I loved the shoes but I'm returning for a larger size. Since the insoles are not removable my regular size is too small with orthotics.

My wife really has seen a benefit of these shoes, which enabled her to win her age category (+60) in the Surfside Shuffle. We have really appreciated Zappos shipping policies.

This is my second pair of Barefoot Merrells and I just love them! They fit true to size and work great not only for running but weight training. I will be adding another color to my collection soon!

Ever wanted to try out those foot glove shoes but the thought of putting your toes into little sausage casings gave you the willies? Here's your shoe. I have bad PF in my right foot someone suggested the 'glove shoe', bleh. I discovered these, same sole manufacturer. My calves were a bit sore the 1st day after a 3 miler but no heel or arch pain. I wear them when I can, they are a bit too sporty to wear with most of my work clothing but all weekend long they are on my feet. I have two pair one for running and hiking, one for knocking around. I have large wide feet and ended up with a half size down. Plenty of toe width and amazing arch support. Buy them.

After reading so many reviews about these shoes...I decided to bite the bullet and try them out. They are the best shoes I have ever owned. I have a huge problem with my feet falling asleep while on the treadmill or elliptical, but it never happens with these shoes. I love all the different fun colors they come in and will probably order another pair in the future.

I normally wear 10.5 narrow and found the 11 to fit perfectly. Love the shoe. Have not needed any break in time. Wear them all the time. Even the 11 looks small and stylish! Very happy with the color. Tried another color but the black trim looked heavy to me. Return them with no problem. Great service.

This is the best pair of athletic shoes I have ever had. Great for training, walking and running (although I have done very little running in this shoe so far). Extremely lightweight and comfortable for everyday use. This shoe, on the other hand, is not for those who are looking for lots of cushy support, or have any existing foot or knee issues. Sizing is a little tricky. I have two pairs in the same size that differ slightly in length and width.

I admit I did not buy these for running. My 3 year old refers to them as my "park shoes". But still...I love them. They work with or without socks. Are super cute. Very comfy. Easy to pull on and off. Very lightweight. They have made me think about running in them.

I wouldn't usually take the time to leave a review, but Wow. I've had a constant pain in my right hip for months, which got progressively worse the more I ran (I thought I loved my Nike Free Runs but I guess they were part of the problem). A friend suggested I try a minimalist show and recommended these to me. Just one run in my new Merrells and the next morning the pain was gone. I thought I was going to have to go to the doctor. Turns out all I needed were a better pair of shoes.

These shoes are amazing! Let me start out by saying that I generally hate shoes and socks. I would love to be barefoot all year round, but, alas, I live in a state that is plagued with cold weather much of the year. These shoes honestly are as close as you can get to not wearing shoes. Many reviewers said they fit small for the size, but I found they were true to size. I will note that I have narrow feet with really high arches, so I think that is why these fit me so well. If you have wide flat feet, these shoes probably are not for you.

Love these shoes! My foot is wide through the forefoot and the regular width fits just fine with and without socks. I did order 1/2 size up to make sure I'd have enough toe room. I'm up to running 2.5 miles in these now and they have renewed my faith in my ability to be a lifelong runner. I can't say enough good things about these shoes!

Truly comfortable. Sporty but not at all clumsy looking. In fact, they make your feet look smaller. Not easy to slip into. Best as a warm weather shoe--with bare feet, if you choose. Air is always circulating, so feet can get cold in nippy weather. Only thin socks work, otherwise feet are cramped.

These shoes are great! They are super comfortable. I wore a black pair every day for a year and then when I wore through the soles I got orange. The orange looks awesome.

Love these shoes, but definitely needed a half size bigger than I usually wear. They are very comfortable and supportive, yet feel like you're wearing nothing. Very breathable so chilly to wear in the winter months, but I am looking forward to the spring and summer! For those of us needing an escape from constant flip-flops, these are the shoes to look into and try!

These are the most amazing shoes I have ever worn--and I have tried all of the barefoot shoes. No idea why they feel so good. Even my orthotic fits. No more foot pain for me.

I have bunions and have a lot of difficulty finding shoes, but these are so comfortable! I love the width of the toe box, and the molding of the vibram sole really matches well with my foot. These are very cool and lightweight and I think they will be perfect to wear year round in Florida.

Love these shoes. Walk in them almost every day. I don't like socks, and they are not necessary with this shoe. I also tend to get blisters on my heels in a lot of shoes. Not in this shoe. I did have to send them back and get a half size smaller. There's a lot of room around your toes. I thought it was a bad fit at first, but it's just the way they are made. Would highly recommend.

So far I really love these shoes. Have only used them for walking but they're great for that purpose, and am excited to use them at the gym/on the trail. I was looking for an alternative to Vibrams, which don't work for my feet and which draw more attention than I want. These aren't quite as minimalist but they seem to be a good balance. I had to exchange for a half size up.

I love my new shoes! I was a little bit scared to take them to zumba class, but I was wrong. I feel like I am not wearing anything, but it feels good.

I ordered these shoes at 4:00 PM one day and they arrived at 2:00 PM the next. What incredible customer service! I fell in love with the color of these shoes and I really ordered them for that reason figuring regardless of how uncomfortable they were, I would look great. I should have known better. I am a long time fan of Merrell and an even bigger fan of Zappos. I put those pretty things on and I have not taken them off since despite your gradual break in warning. I am 70, love to walk, hike and kayak, so I am in pretty good shape, but I have never, never had shoes that were so comfortable from the moment I put them on. I have walked and hiked all over the place in them as well as just regular wear. I wear them all day everyday; they are great!

I am very happy with these shoes. I bought them first for travel and wore them straight out of the box with no break in required. I'll wear them for every day now that I am home. They feel like they were made for me, the fabric conforms gently to my foot, feels secure without binding. Although there is no rigid arch support, the bottom of the shoe seems to conform to the shape of my high arch. I have a narrow heel and frequently can't wear shoes with a medium width, but these fit well. Again, the nature of the fabric allows it to conform to the shape of my foot. I'll be looking for more Merrell Barefoot shoes.

I love this shoe! If I could walk barefoot everywhere in my life I would, but this is a cool second. From the moment I put them on this morning I can't believe how good they feel. No need for a lot of support because you are walking with a natural gait. I severely broke my leg and ankle few years ago and find that even a bit of heel causes stress on my leg. And the colors are fun to wear with capris and shorts.
