Closest to barefoot with added support and protection. Breezy option on hot, humid days or when boating.

I love these shoes. I originally bought them in size 7 and needed to go up to 7.5, but other than having to wait an additional couple of days, they are amazing! If it's your first time in barefoot shoes, you may not want to run a 5K straight out the gate...my calves were feeling it big time. I love these shoes and hope to get them in other colors.

I absolutely love them! They are perfect as I was searching out lower profile easy on the feet shoes. They are small and petite compared to the daily sneakers that I would put on. No more! These are perfect for all my running around and l love that I can wiggle my toes and feel the floor. I do wear inserts and they are perfect. They are also easy to pack!

Bought the Merrell Barefoot Pace Glove shoes about a month ago. I love them. Wear a 9w. They seem to run a little short but work for me. Thanks Zappos, think I'll order another!

Just put them on and they feel amazing. Can't wait to get out and about in them! I feel like running and hiking will be a joy in these. Really connects you to the ground beneath your feet. They look good too. I ordered true to size (8, wide foot but not wide enough for a D width, fit feels fine).

I absolutely love these shoes, being able to feel barefoot and comfortable but have my toes protected at the same time. Easily able to hike through water.

Feels like running barefoot. Excellent construction. Washes to like-new from trail-mud condition along with a regular load. High-quality, very pleased. Bought woman's for narrowness, though a man; perfect fit. (Train very lightly to start, if unused to minimalist shoes. Engages more muscles.)

My friend recommend this shoes and I bought my first pair a month ago and shipping was great even though I live over-seas and I wore them running last week and I just love them. I would start buying this brand and I totally recommend it to anyone.

I have a very high arch and it took a little longer to get these on my feet. After 2 days they are much easier to put on or maybe it's because I can't wait to wear them. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Light weight and minimalist, truly a barefoot shoe. Love them.

The Merrell Barefoot Pace Glove is Merrell's answer to the barefoot craze but the difference is they're actually cute. They're extremely breathable, comfortable, and light--things you want in a barefoot shoe. This shoe will protect your tootsies from the pavement but relies on your own foot strength for a healthy and lifted arch. A little break-in time might be necessary--not for the shoe but for your feet to get used to the bliss and freedom of being barefoot.

Great and very lightweight shoes. I would rather be barefoot most of the time and these are a good compromise for while I am on work...silly bosses require shoes for some reason! I have very wide feet and have a hard time getting shoes wide enough and these work well.

I absolutely love these sneakers. I've been wearing the vibram 5 fingers for a while for running and loved them but always felt a little self conscious. A friend recommended these and I couldn't be happier. They have a little more sole than the 5 fingers and they are easier on my calves too. For me they were true to size.

I had to order up a half-size (Zappos was great about the exchange), but now these are perfect! I wear them with thin socks because otherwise the heels rub (maybe they wouldn't after I break them in? Not sure). I love these shoes! They are perfect for walking around in woods, climbing trees, biking, and running. I love that the sole is so flexible and grippy, I feel a lot more secure and powerful in my climbing adventures! Awesome.

I typically wear an 8.5. I have a widish foot, though when measured, it's just shy of being an official wide width foot. I also have a bone spur on the top of one foot and a jut that looks suspiciously bunion-esque on the other. Most shoes hurt my feet. For traditional running shoes I usually order an 8.5 wide width. I was worried these would be too tight, and even ordered the wide width right after I ordered the regular. But the regular width 8.5 is great, so I sent back the wide width shoe. I'm going slow as recommended, ran a mile the first day and two the second. I'm a beginning runner, so breaking them in slowly isn't a problem. It's not the shoe so much that needs to be broken in -- they are completely comfortable sans socks from the get go -- but you need to break your body in if you want to run in them. My calves are very sore today, so I'm not running, but this was expected. Doesn't feel like an injury at all, just like I'm seriously using those calf muscles which I hadn't before! I'm so excited about this shoe, I love how it feels to run in them, it really promotes the mid-to-front-foot-strike stride, which feels more natural and fun to me, like running when you were a kid before we were taught to strike with the heel, roll the foot forward, etc. Wearing them now to run errands and play with kids because I can't think of anything else more comfortable, and I have lots of shoes that I previously considered comfy, practical shoes. These are the best. I'll order more in future, I'm sure. Next I'm going to order the Merrell Barefoot Wonder Glove, for daily non-athletic wear. I hope they'll be just as comfy, but they look a bit more stylish, less sneaker-like. Although these are pretty cute, too. Anyway, as a beginning runner and someone with funky wide (and bony) feet, I declare I am in love with these shoes. Oh, and by the way, these aren't completely flat, there is a small arch. From what I understand this is a good show for those new to the minimalist shoe trend.

Love these shoes. Comfortable the minute I out them on. Definitely run small. I usually wear a 7.5-8 and I found the 8.5 worked best for me.

I do not think that these shoes run small if they are worn the way they are intended. I wear these shoes barefoot, and they fit like a glove. They were a little stiff at first, but after running a couple of miles in them they were fine. So far I've run probably 25 miles in them (on a treadmill) and have worn them out in public, and still think they're great! I have a slightly wide foot, and typically wear an 8.5. I think they would be fine with thin socks, but I've only worn them on my bare feet. They've got an antimicrobial lining, which is supposed to hinder smell-producing bacteria. Mine still smell fine, although I don't have particularly sweaty feet. They do vent well.

The customer service at Zappos is exceptional, above all others, need I go on? Very helpful, and friendly. If I see a shoe in a store, before purchasing it I always check Zappos.I suppose"loyalty" is the only word that describes how I feel.

I travel a lot and these shoes are so light weight they will take up significantly less space in my suitcase. If you have a long second toe, you may need to go up a 1/2 size (I did).

Absolutely love these! I do not like wearing socks so these are perfect for my workouts! They do run slightly small. I am usually a 7.5/8 and need an 8.5. Highly recommend - you will not be disappointed!

I love these shoes. I ordered the turquoise color and loved them so much I also purchased the orange. They are so comfortable and bright! They make me "happy"! I've had a lot of comments on these and my daughter loves them so much she bought a pair also. They are sporty but not so heavy looking like regular sport shoes.

Fabulous shoe. I haven't taken it off since I got it! I have gotten them wet several times and they dry quickly and completely. I know they are running shoes but they are also great for housework, gardening, and being from Minnesota - great lake shoes if the beach is rocky or possibly dangerous.

I'm not an experienced runner or even exerciser, but I read many reviews about the trend in naked shoes and settled on these. Glad that I did -- they're super lightweight, true-to-size, breathable, and I love that they're not big and bulky like so many running shoes. I have narrow feet and the 7s fit perfectly with or without socks. Great color combos too. :)

Best shoes ever! Have given away all my other athletic shoes! I have a Morton's melanoma which gave me horrible foot pain! I work at a gym and my other shoes made work and work out a misery! I have no pain with these shoes and have purchased two additional pairs! The shoe runs true to size and the medium width will serve a wide foot comfortably! Looking forward to buying another color. Wear these all day!

I love my Merrell barefoot shoes! Not a runner, but wear them for walking and traveling and any other time I can. I wish they made something like this to go with dresses. Bought a second pair that look like Mary janes.

I already own this shoe in Dark Shadow, and it's my favorite shoe this season. Despite the Pace Glove being marketed as a barefoot shoe, I find this shoe more comfortable to wear with socks. I also bought the Lychee (tangerine) color in this shoe. The Lychee looks great against bare skin, but I thought it looked stupid with white socks.
