Love these! They're perfect for weight training and biking (I haven't worked up to clip-ons yet). Not much in the way of arch support, but then they are called "barefoot". So lightweight and a great toe box. Feels great with or without lightweight socks.

These are great glove sneakers. At first they felt so weird to walk in. I wear big bulky clog shoes to work for support so I was unsure about such a drastic shoe style change. I started by wearing these on my day off running around town and they felt great. I wore them to work the next day where I mostly stand and walk around all day and still felt great. I am definitely pleased with these shoes and now I want another color.

True to size for my size 11. Most comfortable with no socks, but thin socks will work. Already done lots of walking, do advise wearing socks for extended walking.

These are the first minimal shoes I have ever owned. They really do fit like a glove. My feet are wide with high arches, and I feel like my running shoes have to have all these requisites to work which is why I have bought the same pair of Asics for the past 3 years. I finished my first 4 mile trail run with these this morning, and it was pretty incredible. I felt like an elf running in these super light, kind of perfect fitting shoes. I can't wait to take them on a more rugged trail run tomorrow.

Versatile, comfortable casual shoe. Great for walking and have great traction. Ordered half a size larger than what I usually wear and they fit perfect. Looks great with skirts, shorts.

I loved these the minute I put them on. Seriously, I put them on and then just went about my day, there was no thinking involved. Super comfortable, they are giving my chuck taylors a run for their money as my go to shoe when I'm running out of the house. I am a 7.5, with borderline wide feet and these are great. They run true to size, and there's lots of room in the toe box. I'm new to low profile running shoes and haven't quite hit my stride in these yet but that's a mechanics issue. I love these shoes and am seriously considering buying a pair in another color. They're also quite stylish looking and I've gotten tons of compliments on them.

I just got back from Ireland, where these shoes saved my bacon. They were incredibly comfortable for long days of walking and moderate climbing. Fashion-wise, they didn't scream "American tourist," and were fairly versatile. Not only that, but after I injured my foot, they were the only shoes I could wear. I do agree that the lace/grommet thingie needs some work, since there's no way to really loosen up the shoe.

Thank you, Merrell, for making wide width shoes. I have one W foot and one WW (because of a bunion), the stretchy material works well for that. I am not a runner. I bought these as comfortable walking shoes for traveling in a warm climate and have not put it to that test yet. I have walked a bit (a mile) around town. So far they are very comfortable, I will be wearing these a lot on weekends for knocking around. I love that I can wear them with no socks. I love that my duck feet, 11 W/WW, do not look like refrigerators, as they do in normal white sneakers.

These are the best workout shoes that I have ever owned. They are comfortable and wonderfully light yet supportive. I am normally a size 6 and sized up to 6½ in these shoes, as they run a smidge narrow.

I love these shoes. I work full time at a Zoo and walk on concrete all day long. My feet rarely hurt at the end of the day and I feel so good wearing them. My posture is better than it was, and I am considering buying another pair for my teaching job so I can be more "professional." These shoes are fantastic and totally worth the cost.

After a long and tumultuous relationship with running shoes, I have finally found my sole mates. And they came in orange - another sign that we were meant to be together! Definitely give them a few runs to get used to...but I absolutely love them! No blisters (heretofore an impossibility!), and no "itchy" feet (also heretofore an impossibility!). Perfect!

I received these yesterday and went on my first run in them today. I loved them. I was running in Five Fingers for a couple of years and then switched to the New Balance Minimus - mainly so that I could keep my feet warm in the winter. These have a little more to the sole than the Minimus, which I was not sure I would like, but they had the same, great, minimalist feel. I wore them without socks, which I am always hesitant to do because that usually causes blisters - but I am planning to wear them in a sprint triathlon and socks equal time, so I wanted to try them sockless. They were great - no blisters. I wear a 7½-8 in regular shoes. Typically, for running shoes I would size up - my Minimus' are size 8½ and my old, traditional running shoes 8½-9. I got these in an 8 - mainly because the 8½ was not available in the orange color that was on sale - and they fit perfectly.

Wow! What a great shoe! I really love the feeling of almost being barefoot. The shoe is very flexible. I wear them all day with no problems. But I also go barefoot any other time. I have received tons of compliments on these shoes!

I ordered half a size up and it was perfect. They are the barefoot experience which is what I wanted. Good traction. Comfortable. Barely there but enough for safety. Preferred them over the New Balance Minimus. I MUST NOTE THAT I HAVE MORE ROOM IN THE TOE BOX THAN I'M USED TO, but it makes me happy as I don't like pointy sneakers.

I love these shoes! I will never wear big, bulky running shoes again. They are extremely comfortable and I love the look. Take advantage of the "phase in" with these barefoot shoes. I'm now running 3.5 miles and feel great! I did order 1/2 size larger than what I normally wear and they fit great. Thanks Zappos for the quick shipping!

This is my second pair of Merrell Barefoot Pace Glove, and these are frankly the best shoes for running, hiking, training, walking, etc. that I ever tried! Compared with those I purchased last year (still in excellent condition, even though the arch support has sagged a little), the new ones are also slightly improved in appearance and design.

I'm new to running and after doing lots of research I decided to try the "barefoot" approach. I love these shoes because they hug my narrow little feet (especially in the heel) and give me a good feeling for the ground underneath me.

I love these shoes. They felt perfect & true to size the moment I put them on. My feet are long and narrow and left slightly larger. Work with and without thin socks. Feel better with no socks even though I usually wear socks. Recommended them to friend with wide feet. She loves them too. I have bad knee which loves them too.

I absolutely love these shoes. My last pair of traditional running shoes, Asics, gave me constant back pain. Of course I assumed it was my knees, not my shoes. Ever since my first run with these Merrell's, the pain is gone. And bonus, they're pretty cute too. They do run small, so order at least a 1/2 size up.

I love these shoes for working out and walking around. They look more like a normal shoe than other barefoot styles, and have a little more support and protection on the sole. This is my second pair. The sole started to pull away after a year of heavy use, but I think part of the reason that happened is that I machine washed them on the regular cycle, so they shrunk a little.

I love these shoes! They fit great and almost true to size (I am a size 5 and have a little wiggle room by my toes). I wear then on rocky trail runs and are very good over rocks and slippery surfaces. My only complaint and disappointment is that the rubber on the front of the shoe is pulling away which definitely should not happen, especially after the first wear.

This is the most comfortable shoe I have worn. I have used it for biking. It weighs next to nothing. And my bunions are NOT bothered by this shoe. I absolutely love it and know I will be purchasing the same shoe in another color to add to my sport shoes. It is made to be a barefoot shoe, and my size 8 did not allow for a sock liner.

great shoes. Fit to size. Much easier to get on and off than my old 'five finger toed Vibram' but with the awesome Vibram sole. Just love that 'barefoot' sole.

My Dad ordered the Merrell Barefoot Pace Glove for me after I tried on a pair while on vacation. I am a yoga instructor, and I absolutely LOVE these shoes. For other than bathing and sleeping, I rarely take them off. The size fits correctly and there is plenty of toe room. A real winner in every regard. As always, ordering through Zappos was a joy, with no problems what-so-ever. The order was placed in the early afternoon, and the shoes were on my doorstep the next. What tremendous service!

I purchased the Merrell Barefoot Pace Glove for trail hiking. I wanted a shoe that would protect my feet but allow me to connect with the ground since the trails I hike usually have sand, gravel, rocks and slope which can lead to slip and fall. These shoes are excellent for this type of trail. My foot remains flexible but protected and never feels off balance. First time out my feet felt great after a 1.5 hour hike. I purchased a size 9 which is my usual size but next time will order a size 9.5 since the toe box is a little short for me since my second toe is longer than my big toe, and the shoe is not shaped to accommodate that. I did wear socks with the shoes, so that probably makes a difference, they are designed to be worn barefoot.
