I really like my Merrells. They are super comfortable and easy to run in. When I first heard about the barefoot running trend, I couldn't bring myself to wear the five finger Vibrams. I personally hated toe socks and that is what it felt like to me. When I found these with the Vibram sole, I was very excited! The elastic on the back rubbed a little at first but I wore socks and then I had no problems. I did feel that they ran a little bit bigger than my other running shoes. Overall, I was very happy with my purchase and I would recommend them to anyone!

These are very comfortable. I have somewhat of a wide foot, so they were a little tight, but not too tight that they are uncomfortable.

Love these shoes. Great for long walks and hikes. Rubbed my heel the first two weeks but once broken in I wouldn't trade them for anything. Super comfy and gives my toes that barefoot feel. Excellent traction.

These are my dream running-shoes, allowing for all the flexibility and precision that were so frustratingly lacking in my highest-quality traditional running shoes. I have run with these for months on very rocky and rooty hiking trails in the Maine woods. Fantastic agility, and respectable(though not excellent) traction on wet/mossy rocks or wood. I highly recommend purchasing a book on barefoot or minimalist running, such as Robillard's, prior to using these. Initially, I tensed my calves and injured myself severely enough. Strictly ignorance-induced, and zero problems since. I feel healthier, refreshed after runs, not pummeled. Impact is decreased to the point that sound is minimal, so one has to call out on trails in order not to terrify hikers; this has happened frequently, almost invariably. I feel blessed to wear these shoes. And, per directions, I return the favor by throwing them in the wash every so often, laces still attached: they come out like new. Great with socks and really boost sensitivity bare. (I'm a man with narrow feet, and have found Merrells to run wide for men as well, so choosing an appropriate-length women's version made for a fantastic fit.)

These shoes are so comfortable! They are great for working out or for running errands around town and they look cute. They are very well made and seem to be quite durable. I have worn Merrell Siren Sport in a size 8½, but in these I ended up with a 9. I think the best way to explain the size (as some of the reviews are conflicting) is it really depends on how you want them to fit. In the 8½ my toes touched the front of the shoes, (they were not crunched), but for me personally I did not like the feeling. A size 9 was just slightly roomier. Some say that the barefoot are shoes that are supposed to fit like a glove-and in that case the 8½ probably would be the actual size I should have got, but I went for the roomier fit. I also think that they would probably have stretched and broken in with time, but I was too impatient. I think it is best for me to take baby steps towards the Barefoot way of wearing shoes. Maybe for my next pair I will go with the smaller size!

These shoes are amazing - I love them and wear them every chance I get. It's like not wearing a shoe. No rubbing, no pinching, just comfort. My feel do not feel fatigued at the end of a full day of wearing them. I'm usually between a 7 1/2 and an 8. I went with the 7 1/2 7 it's great. I do wear socks, but they have to be ultra lightweight. I'm planning on getting more colors. I love these!

I have wide feet that easily blister if I don't get a good pair of shoes. I had been wearing Nike shoes (wide width) for the past 4 years, and have found that with each season, the fit of the shoes has become increasingly uncomfortable. I tried a pair of Asics and had the same complaint. My sister had sent me several online resources regarding barefoot-style shoes. I decided to look at Merrell and read a lot of the reviews, and decided to try them. Much to my surprise, I have found them very comfortable. While they do take some getting used to (negative heel), I no longer have the foot/ankle pain and squished toes/midfoot that I got with my regular running shoes. My feet and legs feel more energized and I love these shoes and wear them a lot! Will be getting more pairs!

I love these shoes. I have a bunion on left foot and Morton's Neuroma on right foot. These shoes are perfect for my feet. I ordered my normal size. I bought two pair from Zappos!

I love these shoes! They took a bit of breaking in (rubbing the backs of my ankles), but since the first wear they've been great. Super comfy and lightweight. I would never have thought to wear shoes without socks, but these are so breathable that my feet always feel comfortable and dry. As someone with wide feet, I also appreciate the fact that these have a wide toe box but don't look big and clunky. On the contrary, this is one sleek, good-looking shoe. I'm pleasantly surprised and impressed so far.

Awesome. Ordered these while 9 months pregnant knowing I would need some shoes that allowed me to walk all over without fear of tripping with a newborn in my arms, but which were also cute. Ordered them for walking since I have some of the Vibram's barefoot shoes and I don't love running in them; however, these were so comfy for walking that I tried a run. Granted it was the slow speed run of a woman who recently gave birth, but they were great. They have slightly more padding than the Vibram's, but don't order these if you are looking for padding. They are definitely barefoot shoes. They fit snugly around the ankle and have a little extra room in the toe box. I ordered a half size up because my feet were a bit swollen, but the half size up ones were too big, so I exchanged them for my regular size. I've been living in them; it's great to feel stylish but also able to walk around the block whenever, as my newborn loves to ride in the carrier.

Love these shoes. This is the most I have ever paid for a pair of shoe simply because I prefer to run barefoot. After reading all the reviews I decided I would give them a shot. So glad I did. As long as you are used to not wearing shoes a lot these are great right out of the box; otherwise walk around in them and get used to how they feel.

I started running on the Vibram Five Fingers about 2 months ago, and I wanted a pair of shoes that felt as low to the ground as the VFF that I could wear for work. I did some research and came across the Merrell Barefoot Pace Glove, these are one of the best minimalist shoes out there. From the first day I received them, I ran longer on them, and have worn them while on vacation, and for work. They are very comfortable, however you will have sore calves until you get used to them. Love these shoes. Finally, Zappos are a great website. I received my shoes two days after placing the order. There are only three websites I buy from and Zappos is amongst those three for their great shipping and CS.

Love this shoe. This is my first barefoot shoe and I was not sure I'd like it. They do take some getting used to. I could only wear them for short periods of time at first. Now I wear them everywhere! Great shoe! Did not like the New Balance minimus at all, doesn't even compare. I ordered both and immediately knew the Merrell was better.

I love these shoes. This is my second pair. I wear them mostly for running, but they're also good for walking around the city. It took a few weeks for me to get used to minimalist running (hello, sore calves!). Since then, I haven't had any of the usual issues I've had when running in the past; shin splints and knee pain, specifically. Also, no arch pain! I have very high arches, and one would think these would be killer on my feet, but it's actually the opposite! The one downside I would note about these shoes is that they don't get great traction during inclement weather, specifically on stone. Living in Boston, there are a lot of brick sidewalks and granite paths, and I find these shoes almost treacherous at time when running on these types of surfaces.

Got into the barefoot/minimalist trend over a year ago with a pair of New Balance's original barefoot shoes, starting to get hot spots now (after over a year of wear with running on trails, pavement, beaches, and normal walking around) so I was back in the market. New Balance didn't have anything that looked like the shoe I love, so I ordered my usual size in this Merrell and it is perfect and I just love them - snazzy look, minimal heel to toe drop, excellent sole, comfortable for me as I'm loving the minimalist style.

This is my new favorite shoe. It is very lightweight, looks good, is true to size, and is comfortable even after long hours of wear. The only downside is that I have to wear socks with them, because the elastic on the back digs into my Achilles tendon and rubs it raw otherwise. Bottom line: recommended, and I am considering getting another pair.

I originally bought this shoe to use when I walk or run. After a couple of runs, I found that I loved the shoes so much that I began wearing them throughout the day, not just when I'm exercising. They are by far the most comfortable, user friendly walking shoe that I've ever had. Not only are they comfortable but my feet feel very well supported. As a bonus, they are cute too! I have two pairs, each in a different color and could not be more satisfied. I would recommend the Barefoot Pace Glove to anyone looking for a great walking shoe either for exercise or simply engaging in the activities of daily life. Thanks, Merrell, for a fabulous shoe!

I love these shoes. They are light weight, good looking, and comfortable. I have a hard foot to fit, so it was great to try several sizes and styles. Zappos is a terrific way for me to shop for shoes.

These are amazingly comfortable shoes - I plan to buy another pair in a different color. They're super lightweight with just enough cushion. I was able to wear them all day without "breaking in." They look fine to me, but I don't pretend to have any style sense.

I bought these shoes basically because they are light. I love them cause I don't feel like I am wearing shoes. Feel the best when wearing a light sock.

My husband talked me into buying these and it was the best purchase. Whether you're walking or running it's less shock to your knees (and back) since you don't land on your heel, but more your toes. You walk in these shoes exactly how you walk when you're barefoot, but you have great support for your foot. After wearing flip flops or heels all day my feet and knees kill me, so I put these on and instantly the pain is gone. They have a thick rubber bottom and you can wear these with or without socks. I have a narrow foot and high arches and these fit me perfectly. If you're on your feet all day or have knee/joint problems, this shoe might be exactly what you're looking for. You can feel it in your calves if you wear these for a long time, but not in a bad way. It makes you use your entire muscle and not just the top half of your calf. New Balance has a minimalist shoe but the material isn't as sturdy as these, and the sole isn't as thick. Not having a built-up, bulky sole on the shoe is better for your body. Having a heel on a shoe changes the way you walk and puts more pressure on your knees, shins and lower back.
