I wear a 9, and these fit my foot as though they were made just for me. The addition of a thin sock makes them a little tight, however, but I wouldn't think that most people would wear socks with a barefoot shoe. The arch is perfectly positioned for my foot, and I can wear these for hours without my feet feeling fatigued. I have worn them for walking, running, and a little bit of hiking and they have performed well for me. I've only had these for three weeks, and I love them so much that I am considering ordering another pair.

Love these shoes! I never wear sock, I don't get blisters, and I run for miles. Super comfortable, cool and I haven't had any shin splints or sore knees since I switched to barefoot shoes.

They came quickly, as we have all come to appreciate and expect from Zappos, but alas, they do run small. I even tried them on barefoot and my 2nd toe was hitting the end of the toebox without even standing up. Order up at least 1/2 size.

Great shoes! Super comfortable right out of the box. Order 1/2 - one size up. I wear a 10, bought a 10.5 but am returning for an 11. Bonus: These shoes actually don't make big feet look like you've got big feet, Merrell shoes rock!

I have these on as I'm writing this review...great shoes. They fit true to size and allow you to feel the ground you walk on which means you can then strengthen you arches. I walk 2-3 hours a day and by the end of the day I still have these on. I hope Merrell continues to make these because I'm hooked.

These shoes are so light they are like water shoes, not sure if enough support for me. I'm hoping to get used to them with more wear. Not intended for Iowa winter weather!

Great shoe for running or cross training. The Merrell footbed gives excellent arch support. The upper gives better support than many of the "barefoot" style shoes, important if you tend to pronate. I liked the lack of a clunky sole.

This is my second pair. The first pair I bought in my true size. I didn't realize to really know the "barefoot" thing then. One year later, I went up a half size and am loving it. Not that the first pair were too tight! But now my toesies appreciate the room! I love the black because I can sneak them in at work. But I also have an orange pair. They're addicting!

I live in Hawaii and wear slippers and sandals a lot, so my feet are wide. I was looking for a wide toe shoe so my toes wouldn't feel squeezed. This was very comfortable to wear for long periods and to exercise in.

I do not understand how these shoes are so comfortable. My entire life I've struggled to find shoes with enough arch support for my high arch; then I bought these shoes designed to have no arch support and somehow they are comfortable after all-day wear (even when I'm waiting tables!) I also like the flexibility and lightness for outdoor activity and dancing. Style-wise, they are as might be gleaned from the images. They do run a little big. I found that a snugger fit than I am used to works best with these shoes. I bought one pair in a half size smaller to wear with thin socks and one, just recently and in a different style, in my regular size that I wear with thicker socks in the winter (as they are not insulated).

Love this shoe. I'm wearing it barefooted and haven't had any of the problems I usually have breaking in new shoes. Very lightweight; toe box is roomy but feet are held firmly. Arch support is such that I don't need an orthotic, so it's a great value. Also, received the order one day after placing it. Can't do better than that!

This is my second pair! There is an excellent feel and my feet are growing stronger as I walk. They are a nice alternative to the heavier, box-y outdoor shoes.

I purchased these specifically for a trip to Maui where I wanted a shoe I could run on sand in, hike in, and not worry about performance or comfort after getting too close to the tide or needing to hike through water. They were absolutely perfect. Easy on and off, extremely comfortable, even when soaking wet, dried quickly, and after two weeks of hard use, they look like I just now took them out of the box. I couldn't be happier.

I ordered these for a trip to Universal Orlando with my kids. I knew I'd be walking 3-4 miles a day and needed comfort and stability. I thought these looked interesting. They were amazing! Light but stable, sturdy without feeling clunky. I brought my Asics on the trip too in case these just didn't work. I found myself regretting bringing the Asics.... they took up valuable space in my suitcase. I love these and will be ordering another pair. For the record, I have wide feet with a high arch nd sometimes wear orthotics for arch support and bursitis issues in one foot. I did not need or miss my orthotics in these. I logged 3-4 miles each day for 4 days without a complaint or blister or soreness.

I ordered the Pace Glove at the recommendation of my best friend who swears by hers. We have similar feet (narrow heel, wide toe box, high arches), so I figured it was worth a shot. I ordered two pairs, 1 pair in a size 10 (my average size) and another in a 10.5. I went back and forth, with and without socks and decided to keep the 10.5 size. I like a little more wiggle room in my toe box area. With my narrow heel/ankle, I found a little gapping even with the laces cinched almost as tight as they could go, but it was nothing too disconcerting. I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort of going sockless in these. I also liked how the shoes didn't put any pressure on the sides of my feet in the ball/toe area. I'm very excited to see how these shoes work out - I like minimalist shoes and if these live up to the hype, I'll be ordering another color from Zappos!

These are beautiful and functional - just ran a bit short in an 11. They do run slightly more narrow than other Merrel barefoot styles, but are plenty wide in the front. The heel is good and holds on. I'm 61 with a narrow foot and looking for a barefoot shoe for hiking, walking and working. No arch support, because I don't believe these barefoot models are supposed to have arches. You can go to the Merrell website and read about the philosophy.

I purchased this to replace my Vevo Barefoot, which had fallen apart after less than a year of wearing it. I wish I had made the switch sooner since I love the fit of this shoe. It hugs my heel and mid-foot, but leaves a nice space in the toe area. The way that it fits almost feels like this shoe has been custom made for my foot. I normally wear a 6 dress shoe, but (like most athletic shoes) had to order a size 7 for this shoe. If this shoe lasts longer than 9 months, I will definitely order another! Note: You will need to wear thin socks for this shoe.

My wife has short, chubby (yet cute) feet. This is her first pair of zero drop barefoot-type shoes and she is loving them. She usually wears a 5.5(W) street shoe and a size 6(W) running shoe. The 6.5(Wide) was perfect in this one.

Let me say, I love these shoes. They are great for walking and running in, I feel like I can wear them all day. They do take a little while to get used to, but once you do, they are amazing! I prefer going barefoot most of the time, so these shoes are exactly what I was looking for.

I LOVE these shoes!! They are so light and comfortable that I really do feel like I'm going barefoot. They also breathe really well so my feet do not get so hot. I can walk in these all day - I did have to get 1/2 size larger than usual - I have a wide foot with a very narrow heel, so the Wide was perfect because I could lace it up to keep the heel snug, along with the elastic at the top of the heel - Really well designed! And they also make my feet look much smaller than normal!

These are great, they're very comfortable and I wear them as much as I can for running and cross-training. They were very easy to get used to, since I already do a lot of barefoot sports, but as a first pair of barefoot running shoes I couldn't be happier. It will change your stride and where you land, to take it easy at first (or just walk/jog around barefoot a lot before you run in them). I have been recommending these since I bought them six months ago!

Very comfortable. Great for Zumba. Can easily pick up feet higher due to lightweight feel. I usually wear 8 1/2, but size 9 shoe fits comfortable and snug. I love this shoe. Not good for long, steep down hill hiking, as toes will hurt. Great for walking on flat paths or walking all day. Sand will get in. My feet never hurt, except steep down hill.

I have had foot pain from bunions since my teens. I had been hesitant to take up running because of this, but after getting the go ahead from my podiatrist I ordered these shoes and added a bit of jogging to my usual walking routine. Nearly six months later, I am still amazed every single time that I wear these Merrells - I simply do not have foot pain, even though I have intentionally switched to a forefoot strike. Although these shoes do take getting used to (I assumed my frequent barefoot walking and love of Earth shoes would have prepared me - I was wrong!), they are so worth it for people with bunions. I had tried several styles of finger shoes but none worked for me due to the width of the sole (too narrow across the bunion area). These shoes have seriously changed my life.

These shoes are exactly what I needed. I did have to reorder a half size larger. Service with Zappo's VIP was excellent. The best I have experienced anywhere online.

The shoes arrived very quickly and in great condition. I ordered them on a Sunday morning, with regular shipping. Much to my surprise, they arrived the next day before noon! The shoes themselves feel and look great. Excellent running shoe!
