For years I ran using bulky Asics, which at the time, were great and cozy and all that. After having years of issues with toes, knees, shins, I tried something different - Merrell Barefoot Pace glove. I love these. My pace per mile has done nothing but steadily improved, and I can run farther than I have ever been able to (used to never be able to comfortably get past the 3-4 mile mark, ran a 10K in these babies and nailed it). I can't say enough about these. I usually take a 6-6 1/2 in dress shoes, and a 7 in sneakers. I needed to get a 6.5 for these even with socks, so maybe order 1/2 size smaller than you usually get in traditional sneakers. You will not be disappointed in these, they are the most comfortable sneaker I have ever worn.

I have a pair of 9.5 for wearing around town and a 10 for running. They are super lightweight, somewhat breathable, and snug even without the ties, which is good for running. My only critique is the wide toe box, which helps in running but is a little bulky for wearing everyday. I've never met a Vibram product I didn't like, and this is no exception. These are great shoes.

I ordered these for my daughter. She said they are very comfortable, and she wears them just about every day to school. They are a bit breezy, and will keep her feet cool in the summer!

I love these shoes! Tried them on a whim 2 years ago...won't go back to anything else. I run daily, and I originally got them for running shoes. Loved them so much, I bought a pair for work (I am a nurse and do a great deal of walking). I have had problems with hip pain due to old trauma and injuries, but since I started wearing these, the pain is much better. Recommend them highly, I have a pair in every color.

I am in love with these shoes!! Just tried them in a p90x class and they were fabulous! My toes had plenty of room for jumping, lunging and moving around. My last pair of shoes would make my toes numb or the arches of my feet hurt. But not these! As for the size, I know others went a half size up, but I have a Frankenfoot where one foot is a half size larger than the other, so I ordered my usual size in a wide and they fit really well. I didn't want my smaller foot swimming in a shoe. Bottom line is once you find the right size you can't go wrong with these shoes! I am a customer of Merrell and Zappos for life!

After reading the reviews for Merrell Barefoot Pace Glove, I was torn over whether to order a half size up or stick with my usual size. Since I plan to wear these without socks, I went with my usual size. They are a little effort to pull on, but fit my bare feet perfectly. The insides of the shoes are smooth and don't irritate, rub, or even leave marks on my feet after wearing for hours. I walk several miles a day, and I appreciate minimal, flexible construction.

Best sneakers ever! Comfortable, durable - long lasting. I throw mine in the washing machine when they're dirty and then have them air dry - drying takes only a few hours. Seriously am never going back to a different sneaker until they stop making these! After two years, I am buying another pair, but not because my originals need to be replaced, just because I accidentally packed for a vacation without them!

This shoe is much like New Balance Minimus. I have fallen arches but a high foot in that I need a wide opening in order to get a shoe on. The way this model is constructed constricts the opening to the point where I barely got them on by struggling. I'm going to stick with Minumus (and hope they aren't discontinued the minute I write this!).

I love these shoes. I really love my Vibrams with the toes and was looking for something similar but a bit more acceptable looking to wear to work and other places where the toe shoes seemed odd. These are pretty perfect. They have the barefoot sole but look like regular shoes. I still prefer my toe shoes, but these are the next best thing when they aren't appropriate.

I originally ordered these in my regular size 9W. They were too long when I received them and so I went with an 8.5 instead. Most of the reviews were saying to order half a size larger than you would typically wear. However, if you are ordering wide, it may be better to order your typical size or go down a half size. Love the fit; they are super comfortable. And the color is exactly as shown so they look great as well!

I think I'm in love... Seriously. Just got these shoes a couple of hours ago, and I don't want to take them off. Incredibly comfortable, right out of the box. True to size. Plenty of toe room. Have been bounding around my apartment, including a little trial on my rebounder (which I usually use only barefoot), and I can tell these shoes are going to be a favorite. I travel internationally, frequently and for extended periods of time, and I walk a lot. I am always looking for shoes that are comfortable, light weight, and cute. These fit the bill in all three categories! Already plotting to order in another color!

True barefoot shoe! Love it! The color (the blue) is beautiful and they are super light. I listened to the reviews and got a 1/2 size bigger, only to be sad and then returned it to get my regular size. The way the shoe is designed, the toe box is super wide/roomy. I think that people who aren't used to the minimalist thing mistake it for being too big, but it's just right! If you have a super wide foot, you may want to try another style, there is a strap across the top of the tongue that doesn't allow it to stretch open very wide. I have to wiggle in to them, but it's worth it to me!

I love these shoes! I sometimes have heel pain so I did add a small insole with extra heel padding, but the experience of running in these is like nothing I've tried before. My stride feels better already, and my knee and ankle pain is almost gone. I was worried about lack of support and it did take some getting used to, but now I could not be happier. I have really narrow feet, and I especially love the "glove like" fit, which hugs my heel and ankle very tightly.

Definitely runs small. Usually wear 8-8.5 (have a monkey toe, so depends on the shape of the shoe toe box). These are wonderfully comfortable, but even having ordered the 8.5, the monkey toe hits the front of the shoe at every stride. Now if you have feet where the 2nd toe is not the longest, they're probably close to regular size.

Wonderful, comfortable shoe. While traveling, one went missing. I like them so much that I quickly bought a replacement pair. A great casual shoe.

Love them! I wear really thin socks with them. Had lithe gloves before and they were okay, but the paces are less stiff, more comfortable, and are softer on the heel. Just what I was looking for. Use for jogging, elliptical, even insanity workouts!

These are the most comfortable shoes for walking that I have ever owned. I normally wear an 8 or 8 1/2, so ordered the 8 1/2 based on other reviews. They fit perfectly on bare feet. I would not be comfortable wearing socks with them, but I will always wear them with barefeet as they are intended to be worn. Nice and cool, extremely lightweight, and enough arch support for me. I could live in these! Even my teenage son says they are "cool."

This is the closest I've come to feel like I'm flying down the road. I've had the pace glove for a week now and already considering ordering another pair! I had a Merrell barefoot shoe before with a thinner sole that's great for treadmill running but not really for outside. This is the perfect barefoot/minimalist shoe with just the right amount of support. They are lightweight, super comfortable and make me without a doubt a faster runner. I really don't think I'll ever have to buy another running shoe (unless it's another pair of these). I also used them for several different fitness activities this week - lifting, spinning, etc. Worked well for all my fitness needs. I did order a half size up as the review suggested. The half size bigger fit perfectly.

This is my live-in shoe! I have had these shoes for about nine months so there has been plenty of time to see if I really like them. I love them! The first thing that struck me about these shoes is the light weight. I had no idea that weight mattered to me, but it does. It feels great. Second, I have problematic old lady feet -- really wide foot , bunions, morton neuroma -- and these shoes have been so comfortable from day one. I kept reading other reviews and even Merrell cautions about the need for break-in time, but there really wasn't any for me. Slip 'em on and keep going. Now that I see all the color options, I'm going to order additions to expand my repertoire of these shoes. If only they could make these in fashionable heels!

These are my first barefoot style shoe. I bought them to wear during my shift as a clinic nurse. I required no adjustment period. From the first 8 hour day my feet felt great and didn't even want to take them off when I got home. I have tried doing HIIT workout with them but not sure if I will continue for those with lots of jumping. Will see. I wear a 7 in close toed shoes and usually 7 1/2 in running shoes and boots. I went with a 7.5 in these as well to have plenty of toe room. The fit really snug, I have a normal to narrow foot and these fit like a glove even though they are 7.5.

I love these shoes! Have them in three different color combos. Super cute for working out! They are a little tight on the top of my feet but I do have high arches. These run small - I wear a 6.5 but have them in 7 and do wear them barefoot. If you want to wear socks, order up at least a whole size.

I researched a lot of minimal shoes before buying this particular shoe. I was in love with my New Balance Minimus but they were very worn our and I was curious what other brands had come on the market recently. I can say that I am very pleased with my purchase, these shoes take a bit of getting used to even after wearing other minimal shoes but I loved them from the start. I feel so light on my feet when I wear them while running/jumping etc. My ONLY issue with them is that the laces always come untied so I have to always remember to double knot them. I'm also not that much into the style of them but I generally don't like the style of any shoe of this type. Overall though I highly recommend this shoe.

I just got this shoe but I can tell that I will love it. It is lightweight and flexible. I usually wear a size 5.5 to 6 EE/extra wide and found the 6 E had enough room to wiggle my toes. The soft elastic material in the heel area helps grip and prevent your heel from slipping out. If you are in between shoe sizes, go a half size up and you will like the shoe. I black shoe and the rubber part at the toe has a dark green tint to it, but it looks okay. Just above the arch, there is a round shaped metatarsal padding that feels a little odd at first, but I got used to it.

Love these Merrells. Got the black ones. They are light, comfortable, and look as good as they feel! Like them so much, got a second color. I normally wear size 6 in Merrells and these were no different, true to Merrell sizing. First pair I received appeared worn and Zappos took wonderful care in getting a replacement pair to me FAST and they were PERFECT! Love Zappos, wonderful customer service and simply one of the best online merchants to buy from!
