Really like this minimalist shoe. Note that if you wear orthotics, they fit inside! Yeah! It did not take long to adjust to the negative heel, very comfortable, lightweight but supportive.

I love! Love! Love these! I was looking for a comfortable sneaker for the office and this shoe did not disappoint! I've had them for a year now and I'm still in love with them. It's really like walking barefoot. Highly recommended.

I wanted to get these shoes because the "five fingers" minimalist shoe was too uncomfortable but I still wanted a minimalist shoe. I really like the way these feel on the bottoms of my feet. I am more alert, energetic and enjoy walking when I wear these. Be warned that they come big and that a minimalist shoe needs to be the actual size of your foot. I wear a 6.5 in sandals, a 7 in general shoes and a 7.5 in running shoes. I bought the 7.5 and the 7 in these and they were both too big/sloppy around the heel. I ended up keeping the size 7 and ordered a 6.5. The shoe fits snugly but rubs a bit on the back of the heel. Overall a good shoe.

Love this shoe! It takes some getting used to if you haven't used a minimalist shoe. If you are looking into them, this really should be your first choice. It was mine. I have a pair to run in and another pair just to wear. I have always had back and foot problems and thought I needed a shoe to help with cushion, shocks, over pronation and everything else a running store told me, until I tried these. The difference is amazing! Stop thinking about it and take the leap into a minimalist shoe.

I needed a light, comfortable shoe for my Tai Chi class and found it in this model. I'm a size 8 (narrow feet) and they fit just right without socks. Love the look and how light they are, and the many compliments I've received on them. Not the greatest arch support but definitely okay for my needs. I haven't used these shoes for long walks or running, but plan to do so and will keep you posted. For now, I highly recommend them for light to medium work-outs. As to Zappos, best site ever. I've ordered 4 times so far and am thrilled. Will definitely remain a long time customer.

I love these shoes! They are so lightweight yet I feel as though they will give me great support for miles of walking. They look good with capris and jeans. They will be my summer walking shoes.

This has become my 'go to' shoe for everyday life. The fit is perfect, the style is nice, shoe is lightweight, and and this one's important it's a minimalist shoe that doesn't get all sandy inside. I had a pair of Jambu barefoot shoes that were cute and fit nice but I hike in the high desert, which means cactus and sand, and within minutes those shoes would be gritty and uncomfortable. These breath nicely without letting anything in. I am also a yoga teacher so my 'daily work shoe' when I'm not teaching wanted to be something as close to barefoot as possible. Love them! I usually wear an 8.5 and had to bump up to a 9, FYI. If you're not used to going barefoot or wearing minimalist shoes, take your time getting used to these, especially hiking as your legs may tire a bit quicker than you're used to. However, and this is why I love them for hiking especially, they grip very well, allow you to feel the ground where you're walking and keep you just protected enough to get the job done. Been on everything from city hikes to bouldering to dirt hikes and these nice fellas got the job done happily.

These are my second pair of pace gloves. I love them. There has been no break-in period, they are comfy and lightweight and don't rub. Do read the instructions on barefoot shoes-- especially for running, these work your calves more. I wear them to run but got another pair because I choose to wear them all day too.

I have two pairs of this shoe, in purple and black. One set is indoors-only, for the gym. I bought my second pair to go on a week-long trip to Norway in the spring, with lots of walking. I have flat feet and wear orthodics, though these shoes do NOT have a removable insole, but my super-thin orthodics fit inside comfortably. I was very satisfied with the comfort and support provided. I appreciated the breathability of the shoes, though I did have to be careful about puddles. I was able to wear them every day on long walks with no blisters, despite buying a new pair a couple of days before leaving. The elastic on the heel means I don't have to break in these shoes. I hope Merrell keeps making these, because I plan to wear mine out and buy more! The Encore Breeze 2 used to be my go-to shoe, and this has completely replaced it.

After trying two other pairs of Merrell's I am happy to report how extremely satisfied I am in this Barefoot Pace Glove. I have worn them for multiple hikes, with and without socks now and my feet are so comfortable either way. This shoe has ample width for people with bunions that can't have a tight fit. I did order a half size up as suggested. I was pleasantly surprised at the support this shoe does have. It really is like going barefoot but better!

These are very comfortable shoes that felt great right out of the box. It didn't take any time to get used to them, and it's great feeling so connected to the ground but protected from hazards such as broken glass. Fits best barefoot or with super thin socks.

These shoes feel great. It's a nearly naked feel, conpared to regular runners. The size is the same as my New Balance shoes, so they fit to size.

These are awesome shoes! I don't wear them for running, though so I can't attest to how they feel on pavement. I wear them in my home workouts when I do aerobics and circuit training in my living room. I love that they're so quick to put on (a must at 5am) and they allow enough flexibility for my workouts. You won't be disappointed!

Comfy and cute. The only gripe is the lace loops are attached to the tongue making it a bit tough to put on easily. The heel has some stretch so that helps.

Absolutely perfect fit for my wide feet! Have to keep them double knotted when I run on the treadmill, but they are super comfortable! Lightweight and airy for those hot days.

I LOVE these shoes. I wear them for running, and for every day life. They are so comfortable, and cute to wear. I have had issues with plantar fasciitis, hip and knee issues from running. No more with these shoes. I heart them.

Love these shoes! I've worn them both with and without socks and on long walks with dogs and they were so comfortable. I haven't yet been brave enough to run in them but I'm very happy with them for just everyday kicking around.

I have to give these all fives. First off, Zappos, I love you- always, always so speedy and awesome. I have been buying shoes for years from you guys and I have never had a problem. I suffer from plantar fascitis and most shoes give me bad shin splints mostly because I am heal striker. I can honestly say that I felt as if I could have run in the shoes forever the first time I wore them right out of the box and corrected my gait instantly. I mostly run on the treadmill and often have problems with stability. These shoes were awesome because that didn't even cross my mind! I am ecstatic. Right out of the box, ran 2 miles no problem. I can feel the difference in my legs afterward- my muscles wore sore in new places, as the shoes activates new muscles. That is saying a lot as I have not been able to really run for months because of my shin splints from my old shoes. I highly recommend these shoes!!! I normally wear an 8 in a running shoe and bought an 8 because I would love to wear these without socks. It worked out! I know this is long but I really love these shoes and don't really see myself seeking any shoe for running. They're comfortable and stylish-although pricey, they were worth it.

Love these! Light, comfy and awesome style. Never going back to regular bulky sneakers again. I've worn them with and without socks. Ordered my size, 8, and they fit great.

Wonderful minimal shoe! Great traction with the Vibram sole, comfortable to walk/move/run in. No break in time necessary. Very excited to try this on my next mud run.

Okay I love the Merrell barefoot shoes. The only shoe I can run in. This is my second pair and I won't run in any others. I run 2 times a week between 4 to 6 miles and never a blister appears. And Zappo's has the best shipping ever!

My favorite shoes. I just bought the Dark Shadow color and already own the Lavendar Lustre (great color to wear with jeans, looks more blue than lavendar). A really comfy 0 drop minimalist shoe that doesn't look strange like a lot of them. Plenty of toe room and I like the soft elastisized heel. I get my regular athletic shoe size which is half size up from my street shoe size.

I ordered 1/2 a size up like I always do for athletic shoes -- my mistake! I will reorder in my regular size. I am excited to have them be my first pair of minimalist shoes.
