I have already told so many people about the amazing comfort of my Barefoot Pace Gloves. I told my husband I wish all my shoes could be like this inside with a sexy veneer outside. It's not just the flexible sole that does it. It's that perfect toe box that is a realistic shape, width, and height for human toes. I love these shoes.

This is an amazing freakin' shoe. I don't run unless something is chasing me, but I do a ton of errands and ranch chores and this is the most comfortable shoe ever. My new dream is for a high top boot style with this sole so the dirt and dust doesn't get in my shoes. But no shoe ever has been this comfortable and energizing.

Hey, I have a peculiar bunion on my right foot and these shoes are a godsend! The only problem is I took a 5 mile walk with them which eventually became a gravel path which killed me. It was like walking barefoot on gravel. I'm going to look into another model for such walks but this one is great as it is.

I couldn't really tell from the picture whether I should order my regular size 7 or a size 6.5. Glad I ordered the 7 because it feels perfect and just enough room for a very thin sock if I choose to wear one. The shoes feels so very light but sturdy. Ordered it last night, got it this morning, Zappos is amazing!

These are my second pair from the Merrell Barefoot collection (my first being the Pure Glove). I bought the black in my usual size, a 10. My feet are narrow, and in a size 10 these fit perfectly and super comfortably, but they do make my feet look longer, kind of like rabbit feet (or maybe I'm just self conscious). Very comfortable to walk in and plenty of toe room. Again, since these are barefoot shoes, they have very little arch support, but that really is how they are supposed to be.

These Merrell barefoot are a wonderful invention. I have bunions and have a very difficult time finding shoes that fit and feel comfortable. I can wear these shoes all day and never feel pressure or pain on my bunions. I love the stretch support they give all over and they weigh next to nothing. They do feel a little short and I think I would order a half size larger next time. A little more support under the foot might be nice--especially where the heel strikes. but...I would buy and wear this shoe over and over. You have to love the wide color selection. It was hard to choose one!

I got these to replace my fivefingers, trying to get something that would get less attention. They look nice, feel like a minimalistic shoe should, but was too wide for me, I have a very narrow foot, so these felt wide everywhere. I got the Brooks pure connect unstead, they fit like a glove, have a little cushion and all, perfect for those who want the benefit of a minimalistic shoe but lack the natural foot cushion, like me.

Have only worn these one day and found them comfortable for my wide feet and I like how they look. Have not tried running in them yet. I was very disappointed to find the purple footbed stained my socks. This stain did not wash out.

I got these with hopes for cool (temperature wise) shoes for a long upcoming trip. While I love the shoes a lot, and will take them, I do not think that they would work for long walks on cobblestones or city sidewalks because there is not enough padding. They are fine for short outings into country villages. But I need shoes with more cushioning for long walking and rainy days. Normally I take 8½ so I ordered both that and a 9. After speaking with the company, I chose the 9 because while the 8½ fit perfectly there was no room to wiggle my toes. I sent the 8½ back. They are great for home, errand and shorter walking use. Apparently for runners, also, which was the purpose in the first place!

These are comfortable in a slipper sort of way. I wouldn't recommend for walking which is what I bought them for after reading reviews. My mistake. You definitely must like feeling the ground beneath your feet in order to enjoy these. Also, I had to order a half size up since my big toe touched the front of the shoe.

I purchased these shoes a month ago. The sizing seemed fine, but they were too narrow for my feet. I returned them for a different brand that was wider.

I was so excited to finally purchase these shoes! They are an excellent concept and I find the construction to be great. Unfortunately the shoe runs small. I'm a consistent size 11 in almost all other shoes and my toes touche the front of the 11 in this shoe. I desperately wish these were made in half sizes! Overall they will be comfortable and I'm still happy with my purchase, but I am disappointed in the sizing. I have had this issue consistently with the Merrell brand. Hopefully one day Merrell will offer half sizes or adjust their sizing a little for us ladies with "gracefully long" feet.

I love this shoe. I normally take a size 7 but ordered a 7.5 which is perfect because I have wide feet and this is a good fit. The shoe is so light, I feel like dancing. The support feels good. The sole is fairly flat which is good for my knees.

Aesthetically pleasing, they make your feet look smaller. Don't be surprised when they are very snug with socks. Also, they feel a bit like a water shoe when you go through puddles. They are very light and flexible, yet have arch support. When you wear them you feel less clumsy. If you aren't used to a barefoot shoe, be careful running in them. You don't want to strike your heel down at all. Try walking around as if you have heels on for the first week to get used to the stride. Also I agree the laces don't stay tied, but they aren't long and the shoe is tight. Really the laces are only for making the shoe tighter if you have narrow feet. Also the backs pull some of my small ankle socks down.

Be careful! Take your time transitioning to shoes like these. I thought because I was a less-than-intense runner that I wouldn't have a problem transitioning to these shoes. After running only 2 miles, I strained my calf muscles and couldn't walk normally for 4 days. I'm sure these are great shoes, but please use with caution.

Cute and comfortable. I bought these because I can't stand ballet slippers or thongs, I wanted something I could really walk in, but weren't giant/ugly like sneakers. These are light and streamlined with decent support, I really like them. I am not a barefoot runner - I'm just a person who doesn't want to look totally frumpy but I will no longer ruin my feet for fashion.

I have this shoe and the New Balance minimalist (wt20: http://www.zappos.com/new-balance-wt20-black-pink), and use both for crossfit. The New Balance provides better arch support and just generally has a bit more structure, and both are very lightweight. I was worried that the mesh on this shoe would mean the shoe wouldn't last, but it's actually a pretty substantial mesh, and doesn't feel flimsy. Both this and the WT20 and very minimalist and low profile. My personal preference is the WT20 for the arch support, but if you don't need it then I think they're equivalent.

I bought these shoes because I had an intuition that they might help with some toe pain I have been struggling with for the past year. I was wrong, but that is not the fault of Merrell, who never claimed their Barefoot Pace Glove would cure foot or toe pain. That said, I have found that these shoes are fun to wear, and great for running on pavement. They are not, however, very supportive for activities like aerobics, (they are a very close fit and have plenty of arch support, but no lateral support for side-to-side movements). They are also very thin compared to a typical exercise shoe, so don't be surprised if wearing them in the desert results in a nasty mesquite thorn all the way through the sole. As a super-light street running shoe, however, I would definitely recommend them.

Very cute and comfortable. Took a little while for my feet to get used to the shoes. Because you wear them without socks, they start to smell pretty quickly.

Very comfy walking shoes. Takes a while to get used to the barefoot feel if you have never had a pair. Very snug fitting until you get used to moving in them. Overall, very happy with my purchase. I do a lot of walking inside and outside, they are working well for me. If you want to wear socks with them, be sure to size up at least 1/2 size.

Attractive light weight shoe that I really wanted to keep. But it was too narrow across the broad part of my foot and rubbed. Also, despite my positive history with Merrells, the padding on the shoe bed was inadequate.

The Pace Glove has a low profile, a flexible sole and essentially no padding. It is narrow at the heel and arch, but with a wide toe-box. I find the shoes comfortable for treadmill runs or short (3-5 mile) runs on pavement. I did get a couple blisters the first time I ran in them, but now that I've broken them in I don't have any problems with blisters. The only things I would change about them is to narrow the toe-box, and use shorter laces that stay tied more easily. (I can't go more than about 2 steps in these unless they're double-knotted, and the laces still drag on the ground.)

I fell in love with barefoot technology with Vibram's 5 Fingers. This shoe is an alternative to those. It looks more traditional. It's as light as a feather and comfortable. You should check out barefoot walking before. It's a different way to walk

I am very very new to barefoot running and I like these shoes for it. If you do it, please make sure you do a lot of research before starting so you do not injure yourself, though as improper form can have terrible consequences! These shoes are comfortable and cute, and they provide a little more protection than my Vibram 5 Finger sole shoes, which I have used for years for hiking and walking. With these, I can wear a pair of wool socks to keep my feet warm. I did not find the website info on which barefoot shoes to buy particularly helpful (at Zappos or Merrell) because neither place said "This shoe is right for you if you plan to run in these conditions..." So I just picked the least expensive pair. They are good general-purpose shoes for getting started, I think. Also if you like Merrell on Facebook, they frequently have running forums where you can ask one of their staffers any questions at all about barefoot running. That is very helpful for me and I recommend it! I wear a 10 and got the 10 and they fit perfectly.
